Update 7/16: I’m able to receive emails again… finally. Gosh, my web server configuration was so messed up!

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I’m in the middle of a move from my home in Germany to my new home in sunny California, United States. Nonetheless I’ve worked on great new updates for both Puzzle Blox and Perfect World Clock which I will roll out the next days and weeks. Afterwards I’ll pick up work on Perfect Task Switcher again – thanks for all your support the last months!

I’ll keep you posted so stay tuned!

  • Close button for quickly killing tasks (as alternative to the long-press & fling gesture)

KNOWN ISSUES

• Preview graphics are of poor quality. This is a limitation by the Android OS itself. Improved previews for rooted phones and tablets is underway…
• Gingerbread and some CyanogenMod versions do not show previews. This will be fixed for rooted phones soon.
• Perfect Task Switcher does not support Honeycomb.
• Not all key shortcuts (like long-press home) can be supported by this app. This is a limitation of Android and cannot be circumvented.

What’s New?

The main menu and first steps have been completely reworked to make it easier and more understandable for new users. Puzzle Blox is more polished now so I hope you like it!

I’ve also added a new tab to the highscores section to show both the top players of the last 7 days and of all-time. Can you beat these scores? I’ve never managed to get even close myself . Wow!

Puzzle Blox features an overhauled theming engine now. You can download additional theme packs from Android Market for free! That’s great because the main application is smaller and will better fit on your internal memory now. There’s a completely new hand-crafted theme “Summer Time” available to enjoy during your summer holidays. Tell me how you like it!

And finally there are so many bug fixes and performance improvements all over the place. You shouldn’t run out of memory anymore.

Puzzle Blox has been confirmed to work on all Android devices running either Cupcake, Donut, Eclair or Froyo. You have an Android phone? Then there’s be a big chance Puzzle Blox will work for you! Period.
