At the moment, Google has not announced any partnerships with Rogers of At&t. If you want the new Nexus One with At&t’s 3G bands, just head on over to Google’s phone store to make your purchase. I wonder how many people are going to be just a little mad at Google for releasing the Nexus One with these new 3G bands. I’d imagine that were are a few thousand people who purchased the Nexus One when it came out but are actually using it on At&t’s network. Google hasn’t made any announcements yet about possible trade-ins.

One question we have is: “why two phones?” Google is giving customers the option to choose between two handsets with two different sets of 3G bands. Why not offer one phone with support for all the bands? I know it might be a little cheaper to buy separate 3g chipsets, but wouldn’t it cost HTC and Google a little more to manufacture and keep two separate inventories of the same phone?

Our neighbors to the north have enjoyed Android for quite some time now, but if you asked them if they enjoy Twidroid Pro or the latest game from Radiant, they might look at you with a puzzled look. Since the launch of Android, Canadian users have not had access to paid apps on the Android Market. Today, all that changes!

From what we’ve heard, Android adoption in Canada has been a bit slow. We’re hoping that the availability of paid apps and premium content. If you live in Canada and are looking for some great paid apps, Androinica has a few pointers and tips for you.

Just like free apps, paid app availability is based on your current Android version

If you’re not a huge fan of that paid app you just purchased, you have 24 hours to return it

Paid apps are listed in the local currency of the developer, not your local market.
