Finally got my JC Clifts!

I've been eyein them since day one from Solestruck but i didn't have enough moolah to buy'em.

THEN they had to be sold out for ever and finally, i guess someone had a returned, i got an email saying they had them in my size! Size 6! It's like fate!

I'm using the cam on my macbook cuz my memory

flash drive thingy mabobber is currently not working!

These shoes are so pretty and soft and lovely and all the wonderful adjectives you can think of to describe the perfect pair of shoes! They fit pretty similar to the Rumble but the ankle is a little looser since it doesn't go up as high. Heel is the exact same. Super comfy and easy to walk in because of the chunky heel. I don't know what else to say besides they are Perfect-O!

Ahhhhhhh...don't you just get all giddy inside when you open a new pair of shoes and try them on for the very first time!?

Well...I do!

These hot tamales are even more gorgeous in person and even more wonderful once they were on my feet. As usual, SUPER COMFY, true to size ( i ordered a 6, like all my other JC's), and great material and texture. These do not disappoint!

What's even better is that they are originally $152 but I found a 10% off code online (CANDY, not sure if it will still work but you can give it a try) and THENNNNN if you send them an email with your invoice number they will refund you 30% back onto you credit card ONLY if this is your first purchase from them.

Isn't that freakin fantastic!

I told ya I never pay full price for anything, or try at least.

I'm guess they will fit and feel them same as the Rumble since the heel is very similar.

Yo!!

I know we just got back from vacation but I spent all day matching coupons...

strange, I KNOW!

Here is a photo of today's Publix shopping trip!

We spent a total of $45.90 and saved $84.41!

I know this is totally irrelevant to my blog so if you are not

into couponing then I apologize!

I was just so excited I had to share with you all

and to let you know that you too can coupon!

Sounds cliche but seriously,

if I can do it, you can do it!

This was only my 3nd time really couponing

(as in bringing in more then 5 coupons)

and I was shocked and thrilled at how much I saved.

It does take up a lot of time but its worth it when you see the savings..

and you can put that money towards something else like,

um...maybe some SHOES, BAGS, CLOTHES, and more SHOES!

My daily internet routine usually consists of searching for Jeffrey Campbell Shoes and/or Blogging.

There are probably a few other things, here and there, but for the most part it's just that.

Oh, I've started to coupon, or attempt to coupon I should say,

so I guess you can add searching for deals around town to the mix of things.

The countdown begins till vacation..

Why is it that the week before is always the slowest?

I suppose it's because most people are already "checked out" before the week even begins.

She always points and says " hello kitty " so I like to wear it for her.

It was windy that day so this last photo was me trying to control my hair!!!

Petite Fashion Challenge #8 - Spinning the Favorite

This month's challenge is hosted by Radiator Sessions.

The challenge for this month is to take a “go-to” outfit,
put a spin on it by styling it in a different way but still keeping a couple of essential components.
For me, my "go-to" outfit this season is a pair of denim shorts and a cropped top.
I usually wear a pair of flip flops or flats with them, depending on the weather.
Since it's so freakin hot this summer already, it's been mostly
flip flops cuz my feet get all sweaty and me no likey that at all!

I decided to put a spin on it by wearing
my favorite pink cut off shorts rather than plain ol' denim ,
put a scarf on it,
("if you like then you better put a ring on it")
and paired the whole outfit wit sum Lita's!

TA DAAAAAAAA

Now, being short and all..the Jeffrey Campbell Lita's really give me some height!
I'd probably wear a longer top if I was going out because I usually like to even out the look.
Meaning..if I'm wearin short shorts, then I like to wear a long or more conservative top..
if i'm wearing a long skirt or jeans, then i'd feel ok with wearing a more showy top.
This rule only applies when I'm wearing platforms or really high pumps.
Since this crop top isn't too showy, I think I could wear this out..I dunno..we'll seeeeeeee.

I really enjoy these challenges and seeing what everyone comes up with.

Alright..back to the shoes...I got a size 6 which is what I normally wear in Jeffrey Campbell Shoes. (Can't remember if I've mentioned this before or not but I used to wear a size 5, maybe 5.5,

then i had my baby and now i'm a size 5.5, almost 6. Anyone else's feet get bigger after having a baby?)

What drew me to buy these were the color and the material. I love Taupe..and I love Suede..so when they came out with the Lita Taupe Suede..I immediately wanted them! I finally saved of enough dinero to purchase them (sorry hubby) and I'm soo happy and so excited to wear them!

I was invited, yesterday, to attend an event at The Body Shop at Perimeter Mall

to promote their NEW Honey Bronze line and I was also able to get

a free beauty consultation by Celebrity Beauty Expert, Shalini Vadhera.

To be honest,

I don't think I've stepped foot in The Body Shop in a good year or two before today.

But I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed with all of their products (new and old)

I stumbled upon her shop from another blogger and immediately fell in love with her store!

This is the bag I just purchased and I can't wait for it to arrive!

The best part about it is that it was only $18..for a LARGE!

So you know American Apparel also has a Leather Pouch.

The big big difference is that AA is charging over $60 for their pouches when they pretty

much look identical..don't you think?

I'm really excited to receive this bag and I'll be sure to do a thorough review for those of you who may be interested in buying one.

Jeffrey Campbell Corkey -- my personal review

I recently purchased Jeffrey Campbell's Corkey Shoe from SoleStruck.

I was soooo excited because I love the idea of the flatform/platform shoe,

not quite so FLAT... I wasn't sure if I was ready to go all the way there yet.

I love the look, color, feeling, material...umm pretty much everything about the shoe.

***BUT***

(yes, there is a BUT)

After receiving the shoes,

thoroughly trying it on many many many times,

I came to the realization that these shoes just aren't going to fit

my little feet no matter how tight I tighten them or even with socks!

Ugh, I was so sad..I think that I'm still really sad!

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that they are bad shoes by any means..

I just believe that the fit of the shoes are made for girls with larger feet or wider ankles.

I wear a U.S. size 5.5 - 6.

It all began when.....

When the shoes first arrived, I ripped open the package and just the smell of new shoes excited me! (please don't judge me, i have an addiction. At least I admit it) I pulled each shoe out of the bags they were wrapped in and immediately sat down to try them on. I slipped them on each foot and buckled the straps all the way to the last hole. As I stood up and started to walk I realized that the shoes were slipping off the back and I had absolutely no support from the back straps.That's pretty much when I knew that these babies would probably have to be returned and I got really really sad because I loved them so much already. I tear up a little bit just talking about it. No, not REALLY but maybe a little?

Anyways, so then I started trying to see if maybe they would fit if I added another hole. Nope, that didn't work. What about with some socks, (i've never attempted the socks with sandals thing but I'm not opposed to it) that also didn't work. So I really had no other option but to see if maybe I could get a smaller size. Um..NOPE, not going to happen because there are no half sizes. So...i ended up just packing up the beautiful babies and sending them back to Solestruck.

I started reading reviews to see what others were saying and they also had the same problem with the back strap being to loose and also the leather stretches very easily so that would have been another problem down the road. In the end, I'm glad I returned them ( NOT REALLY ) because now I will just have to purchase another pair of shoes (LITAS) for my mother's day present, I suppose.

Moral of the story is... if you have little feet like me then you besta not

purchase The Corkey or The Douma because I believe they both have the same fit.

With all that said..the quality of the shoes was really amazing. I could def tell that these shoes would last a long time and they truly were sooooooo comfortable (like all JC shoes) to walk in even though they were slipping off. This is one pair of shoes that I could def see shopping long hours with and not having your feet hate you the next day! It also gave great height and I love how they made my legs look all long and skinny like. Beautiful Boooootyful shoes...but just not for me :(

So sorry Corkey..looks like you and me were not meant to be.
