Last weekend we had a wonderful opportunity to take engagement shots for an amazing couple Ashley + Michael.  The couple is very much in love and we wanted to capture this for them.  When we met with Ashley and Michael during the first consultation, we discovered that wine holds a special meaning to the couple.  Of course our creative juices began to flow when we heard this and we started to think about ways to incorporate this into the upcoming shoot.   Donna was able to find a small vineyard in our area where we were able to go and take some shots!  How exciting!  Ashley and Michael, we had a blast on this shoot with you and wish you two the best of luck as you begin your lives together as a married couple!

Back in December Donna’s oldest daughter Rachael and her husband Ben were blessed with their first bundle of joy Annabelle. What a precious little girl she is.  Well as you can imagine, there have been numerous pictures taken and here are a few that I took of her one afternoon as she was visiting at my house.  I absolutely love tiny baby feet!  Can you tell?  There will be more pictures to come of this precious little gem as she grows so stay tuned.

Claudia and Vincent are the sweetest couple and we had the opportunity to take their engagement photos for them.  Claudia is a co-worker of Donna.  I had not met Vincent until the shoot and what a ham in front of the camera!  Photographing them was a breeze because they were so in love and so willing to do whatever was necessary to get a great picture.  I wish you the best in your journey ahead as a married couple.  

Family shoots with little kids are the best and the one we had with Jamie, Hector and Jayden was no exception.  When Jamie scheduled the shoot, she already had a destination in mind, Descanso Gardens in La Canada-Flintridge, CA.  The grounds are exquisite and offer a variety of gardens and other sites to tour at your leisure.

When Donna and I met their family there, Jayden was a bit camera shy but that soon dissipated once we took him back to the little maze cut in the shrubs.  He began to frolic and play and show us his adorable smile and personality.   We were able to get a few shots of Jamie and Hector and most of the ones of Jayden  were of him playing.  Oh to be a child once again!  Here are a few of the shots we took that day.  Thank you for the honor and joy of sharing this time with your family and such a precious little boy.
