Dear Egyptian fellows:

Good afternoon
Glad to hear your reports on the train in Angel Yeast. It’s further understood you are enjoying really the training in Angel Yeast. Not only learning the technology process, operational details for yeast production, but also knowing & studying the Angel Yeast culture & regulation during the last 10 months happy and meaningful training. And you are starting blend into the Angel team. I believe that your successful training here is an important guarantee for a test running in new plant. Here, I will congratulate you all for your rich harvests in the training. Meanwhile I shall address my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in the training those from Three Gorges, plant, and relevant departments in Angel Yeast.

Angel Yeast has completed in all domains strategic layout In China with nine subsidiaries plants. Nowadays a bio-industrial park is under construction in Yichang. Both two new production lines located Guangxi & Yunnan China will start up by the end of year. Angel yeast has represented in more than 120 countries & areas globally. The export revenue has accounted for 40% of total sales. Establishment of overseas factories, speeding up response of the global market, and enhancing global competitiveness has become an urgent task for Angel Yeast.

The Angel started feasibility study for overseas projects from 2009 by a specific group. The first overseas factory set up in Egypt after several site visits and repeatedly demonstrated. The main considerations are: First, Egypt is rich in molasses and energy resources; Secondly, North Africa, the Middle East has become an important consumer market for Angel Yeast with annual sales more than 15,000 tons; Third, Egypt location is convenient to supply Angel merchandise & service for neighbor countries quickly;

Fourth, China and Egypt have a long history of friendly relations. Chinese government supports Angel Yeast’s investment in Egypt.

Angel Yeast belief that set up a yeast plant in Egypt is a correct strategic choice after nearly two years of practice there. Project progress affected to some extent since this January, but right now progress is speeding up with the recent multi-party support. The plant shall be put into test running by the next May. You will be taking part into the construction when your training ended here.

Here, I am just representing my personal wishes to you all:

First, foaming honor and sense of mission” building Egyptian Angel, promote the Egyptian industry" .You are participating in the first up to dated plant with Ten thousands tons scale capacity in Egypt history. Operation a new plant will bring more employment for Egyptian, resource utilization, contribution to modern civilization and tax, and many other positive effects. Your work is not merely to have a good job, but also for the mission to create value for Egyptian & human. I hope you could bring this sense of honor, sense of mission into your everyday work with full of passion, enjoy fun from work.

Second, to respect and comply with Angel Yeast rules & regulations. To form good habits as a modern enterprise employees. Angel Egypt facility is large scale, high automation, fast response, strict health condition and marketing a wide range, fully focused on the massive production and modern bio-engineering advantages. The advantages and characteristics can not brought into play, but will double the waste and loss, If without strict rules & regulations for normal operation. I hope you all are enhancing awareness on modern enterprise, consciously care and compliance with rules, notes on the process, management, promote high-efficiency operation, making Egyptian Angel an excellent one in Angel Group, a well-known enterprise in Egypt.

Third, every one shall keep learning and improving skills, creation first-class performance based on job. Egypt, hopes the trainees to grasp the remaining time in China, more and better learning from your master, adviser, more and better participation in production practices, to ensure with the capability to operation independently before leaving China. The training here is just a beginning for you due to the time & language limitation. More learning & improving depends on your practice in the Egyptian factory future, You personals shall appointed to different post in the plant. I hope you shall value your posts, to create excellent performance. Chinese old saying said: "a thousand miles begins with one step", I wish all of you continue to improve and enrich your personal experience and ability from the basic work.

Fourth, try your best to be an excellent employee, good citizens in the community, and promote Angel branding & reputation in Egypt. Angel employee's behavior affects the Angel brand's reputation. I Hope the Egyptian trainees must not only to be a good employee in Angel, also a good citizen in the community. To influence society with being honest, law-abiding, mutual aid, moral and civilization; leading society with the idea "innovate healthy life". Enhance the brand influence and reputation with your good image.

2. Determine Critical Control Point-CCP

按照前面的步骤建立HACCP，举例子：

生产酵母菌的时候容易出现致病菌污染。主要为原料带入。我们分析后，对生产原料进行消毒灭菌处理，采取121℃，30分钟。杀灭一切微生物。

(2)Why：为何----为什么要做？为什么要这样做（有没有更好的办法）？（做这项工作的原因或理由）
(3)Where：何处----在哪里做？（工作发生的地点）？

Methods, 搭建羊圈的方法是否是最牢固的。

Environment。环境有变化吗？羊会长大，可以跳出来。

Implementation of OHSAS 18001:2007

OHSAS (Occupational Health and Safety Advisory Services) is one of System Management
International Standard which a recently published on 2007 from
OHSAS 18000:1999 to OHSAS 18001:2007, where it major in Occupational
Health and Safety
aspects (K3) rather than Safety Product.

Occupational Health and Safety (K3) is a major productivity
influence of Company. Entrepreneurs are expected to give their
employee a priority to
minimal a risk of an
accident or to make a zero accident or disease because of work.
Therefore it needs an understanding then can be applied in daily activity of the Company.
OHSAS 18001 providing a framework to management K3 effectiveness
including conform
with the regulators. In this case in 2006 Secretary of Labor set up a
regulations on Sistem Management Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (SMK3), Minister of
Manpower
Regulation No. 5 of 1996 (PERMENAKER 5/1996).
Needs to underline that OHSAS is not ISO Certification because
OHSAS also published an
Independent Certification that certainly in International Standard
which similar to ISO
Certification.
Similarly with Indonesia’s own products, SMK3 and OHSAS obviously
different but have similarities that published the Certificate and the same field about
Health and Safety Management.

It needs a special training before beginning the Implementation
of OHSAS 18001, Why ?

To have a better understanding about System Management Health and

Safety based on OHSAS 18001 and SMK3.

To have a better Analysis when apply on the Company.

China's reputation as an ingredient supplier has suffered from a spate of food safety problems – but the food industry should not paint all China-based companies with the same broad brush, says stevia supplier GLG Life Tech. China is one of the fastest growing markets for food ingredients and additives, accounting for about 15 percent of global trade, according to a recent Leatherhead report. But the melamine-tainted milk scandal that began in 2008 – killing at least six children and sickening about 300,000 – unleashed a wave of criticism and increased scrutiny from the west. James Kempland, vice president of marketing at GLG Life Tech, told FoodNavigator-USA.com that with the right checks in place, there is no reason for western food and beverage makers to avoid Chinese-sourced ingredients. GLG is a major player in the stevia market and although it has a corporate headquarters in Canada, it has always been very upfront that its agricultural production, processing and extraction facilities are China-based. "People in the west have a tendency to lump everybody together,"
Kempland said. "…We are aware of the fact that we deal with the issue of Chinese production and associations of that in the west." GMPs He said that the key for food and beverage manufacturers looking to Chinese suppliers for ingredients – as with suppliers in any other part of the world – is due diligence, making certain that plants comply with good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and are independently audited. We have gone through the rigors so I think it's fair that companies should be looked at and judged on an individualized basis instead. However, for GLG there are three main reasons for growing and processing stevia in China: Lower labor costs for an agricultural product that needs to be hand-harvested; a large labor pool; and the fact that due to Japanese demand stevia had already been growing in China for decades before the US Food and Drug Administration issued its first letters of no objection that stevia was generally recognized as safe (GRAS) in December 2008. It is expected that Europe-wide approval will follow suit soon, after the European Food Safety Authority gave a positive opinion on the safety of stevia extracts in April this year. "All of the procedures that we put in place, even at an agricultural level, were done with marketing to the west in mind," said Kempland.
