Tagalog or Taglish Podcast?

It appears that demand for a purely Tagalog podcast is low. Will experiment with Taglish in the future. Anyway, for the remaining fans, here's a photo album I found in Flickr which contains some of Heart Evangelista's pictures:

Episode 1: Recap of Ang Panday

The first episode of "Ang Panday" was aired at 9:00pm, and it provided a recap of the previous stories of FPJ -- the meteor crashing into Sto. Sepulcro, the forging of the metal into a dagger and church bell (sounds like the Ring of the Niebelungs?), the battle between Flavio and the forces of Lizardo.

We don't know whatever became of the missing child of Flavio and Esmeralda, but it might be Tristan (Jericho Rosales). Eden (Heart Evangelista) is probably the woman the minions of Lizardo seek, because she can raise him (or what's left of his brain) back to life.

Some of the visual effects were quite good, such as the morphing of the fallen minions into the desert sand. Some, however, were a let-down such as those dog creatures clambering up the walls (their blackness did not quite match the darkness of the night so it was quite obvious they were just pasted on the scene).

The first meeting of Tristan and Eden looked awkward because the way they bumped into each other look stilted.

Anyway, it's just the first episode.

Episode 0: Part 2 of Alamat Ng Espada

Here's a Tagalog podcast about the second part of "Ang Alamat ng Espada" or the making of "Ang Panday"

It looks like ABS-CBN is pouring a lot effort into this TV series. Can't wait for the first episode which airs on November 9, 2005 at 9:00pm.

No, this is not sanctioned by ABS-CBN or any other organization. I'm just an individual interested in Ang Panday and in creating podcasts in Tagalog. Yun lang. :-)

Ang Panday Podcast: The Idea

The Ang Panday television series will air over Philippine television starting tomorrow, Wednesday, the 9th of November 2005. The Sci Fi Channel made Battlestar Galactica podcasts, according to Heather Green, and I wonder if the producers of Ang Panday will try this approach.

Anyway, I hope to post podcast commentaries and episode summaries of the latest TV series which stars Jericho Rosales as Tristan and Heart Evangelista.
