@bennersenn — Sorry, but I think a counter is a lousy idea — First it would make us all really depressed, possibly to the point of giving up AB. Second — Once your significant other found out about it, you would not be able to say “just one more fling” when you really intended to do 10 ore 20 or ???

@justpast40, I found that restricting apps running in the background can help. Leaving RAM more while the game is running made my day and now the app hasn't crashed since. Hope it helps you.

Seems both ways, per video and reversing shots tend to get same or similar results. This is a funny level, amazing how you can do almost identical shots and have a 10k differential. Think I’m happy to move on.

I had 129k with this 3-bird strategy, but I knew it was good for a few more k so I tried again.

Can’t beat @thetoddman23 ‘s amazing 2-birder top score, but I am happy :)

Thanks for the tip @angryadvisor. Using your strategy for the first YB, I was able to get a 1-birder, although my score was disappointing, only 99K. But at least I finally got a 3*, which I hadn’t been able to do any other way, so I’m very grateful!

Thanks, saw your picture here. That little pig shows absolutely no sign of falling most of the time. Haven’t really been counting restarts, but must have bee at least 30. Lo and behold the little pig started rolling to the right and the top of the tower started rocking back and forth. The little pig eventually fell off, but only one pig popped for 5500 pts. The top of the tower continued rocking, and the vertical wood plank to the right of the bottom little pig looked like it was mostly off the horizontal plank, but no dice. However, it wouldn’t surprise me if the entire left tower falls once in a blue moon. If anyone has more details on self-destruction, please report in forum on self-destroying levels. Thanks.

I too am on Androind (phone) & today is the 1st time I accessed this level. It crashed before recording the score, FORTUNATELY, my 2nd attempt was a success. The APP did not crash before recording my 3* score of 101490.

I agree @lesleyg. For a long time I aimed a bit above center and releasing early, which could get me above 100k, but usually not much more. Then I tried it your way, consistently getting scores of 104k to my very nearly 106k.I aim quite high to the blue portal, so bird ends up low over first roof, where I split the birds. Bottom bird takes out orbs, top bird hits glass in front of TNT on top, then pray for good fallout below.

PARTIAL COLLAPSE ALERT for 10,580 points …… 5 days after getting my 3*, I came back for the feather. I’d just opened level, glimpsed up from phone & when I looked back down the smallest piggie in middle of left tower was falling & took out the larger pig to the right on higher shelf…..http://angrybir.de/184Fd3Q.

No such collapse occurred days ago when I was working on my 3*, so I wonder if a certain degree of progress is necessary before this happens.

I found that if I directly hit the swinging TNT just as it reaches the left caged pig, I get more consistent good destruction by the lower left portal, better than letting the TNT drop. Most of the time the bird will carry on to hit the right structure, but not always.

Tough one @lesleyg, tried it for an hour last night without success, but I definitely see the potential for a good score and even an awesome 1-birder.I finally lucked out with a 1-birder with the video method for 114k, which will do for now.

Thanks @finbread this strategy worked for me as well, and was much easier to repeat successfully. I activated C3PO after breaking through the wood board to increase the chances of also breaking through the metal box. Only a small piece of C3 remains is needed to fall through and detonate the TNT. Then I tilted and shook my iPad wildly while saying ‘fall! Fall! Fall!’ to get those last pieces of structure by the top pig to go down. ;-)

I’ve just discovered that it’s possible to bounce Matilda’s egg off the 1st red bird if done quickly enough. I’m not sure how this helps kill the pigs, but it has been an interesting diversion from my pathetic inability to get 3 stars on this level.

I got lucky with using only two birds. Somehow when I launched Terence into the left edge of the cement roof, the force pushed everything to the right and the debris fell onto the pigs in the cart. Most of the roof that fell in the middle was cleared so I did a high lob with the bomb bird and it went through the cement “floor” so when I detonated it naturally took out the two pigs at the bottom and set off the tnt. I was so shocked that I cleared the level, I didn’t launch the next bomb bird to do any cleanup. With the bonus 30k I ended up with a mediocre 123k, so I’ll keep trying to improve that score.

Tough level to get a competitive score in. Hit big brother in corner of triangle piece. Often times helmet head was left. Launched white bird straight ahead to eliminate the two on the ledge. Often times white bird would go through red portal I think it hit the rubber piece on top and hit helmet head and TNT. I figured I’d put my score in now so I can get a better score. Often happens. Put score in go back and play a bit an have to go put in better score.

. Details for Nook Color:Thanks to @karen68 for this one! I've been trying off and on for two days to improve my score on this one. I couldn't even match my existing high score trying all methods above. (Except @karen68 's method. I guess I somehow skipped over it.)Orange bird into the heart of the fully intact left wooden tower is the key.1st shot: Lob Matilda over the left structure and release egg to detonate TNT.2nd shot: Lob Chuck over the left structure and try to do as much damage to the rubble on the right as possible. Be sure to get that gift if it is still there.3rd shot: Zoom all of the way in. Pull the orange bird down until his top tail feather is just below the lower edge of the gray marking/accent on the purple mountain in the background. This should launch him through the lowest, vertical wood on the untouched tower. Inflate him in the middle as he passes the blue ornament. This will blast the whole tower apart. Although I haven't done it yet, it seems possible to get the second gift box this way.This is the only method I've tried that has consistently yielded 75K+ scores.
