For almost 4 years, Ang Sa Wari Ko, In My Opinion and My Opinion became part of daily life. Every time I wake up or go to sleep I make sure I have blog post in mind and it must be publish. About news, advocacy, events, and others. And now on my 4th year as a blogger, www.AngSaWariKo.com will be having a new home on Wordpress.org. I still have the URL but with a new blog name its called Opinions by Flow Galindez as of know it is on beta test so there are instances that others may encounter ERROR 404 when they visit my blog it is on the DNS propagation which started yesterday afternoon so please bare with me and thanks for the patience. So visit me there and let's continue this blog journey I started in 2007. Thanks!

Facebook now offers Video Calling via Skype Application

After the beta release of Google + where the social network giant Mark Zuckerberg has allegedly has account on it, another trending topic happening now with the Facebook CEO as he announced the incorporation of Skype service on FB. After forging partnership with Skype, Facebook users can now do their video calling, sending text messages and do phone calls without leaving their accounts or switching windows. And all they need to do is to go to the Skype Page on Facebook and use the application it will just require them to log in and sync their skype account with FB.

For those who wanted to try the Skype service on Facebook, there will be two options either install the 5.3 version of Skype for Windows that allow users to news feeds from your friends where you can post comments or “like” their status and post your status too without going to your wall. Another option is to install the beta 5.5 Skype for Windows that gives users more options like sending instant messages directly to Facebook chat, a premium paid option is available for those who wanted to get unlimited phone calls to Canada and US and have group chat for more than 10 people. Service fee remained the same in all Skype services even it is in Facebook.

Even there’s a news about Microsoft acquiring Skype, Skype CEO Tony Bates who will lead the new Microsoft Skype division says in news.cnet.com that nothing will change on the partnership between Skype and Zuckerberg.

SM Hypermart brings back Master Chefs Cooking Marathon

Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake reunite in Bad Teacher

Ex-couple Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake will reunite in Columbia Pictures' romance comedy entitled Bad Teacher. The film that will be showing in all theaters nationwide beginning August 2011 was directed by Jake Kasdan based on a screenplay by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky.

The reunion movie of the former couple follows the struggle of Elizabeth Halsey (Diaz), Chicago teacher who undergo heartaches and her teaching career became a disaster. She curses her students, and went to school drunk. And then substitute teacher came, his name was Scott Delacorte (Timberlake), who was rich and became instant celebrity among the faculty members and captures the attention of Halsey and her fellow teacher Amy Squirrel (Lucy Punch). Things change for Elizabeth after meeting Scott and knowing the possible incentives for the teacher that has a class that earns the highest scores in state test.

Support HWH’s Pencil Project for the benefit of DTC’s Klasrum Kariton

The fight against illiteracy and poverty never stops as Efren Peñaflorida takes home the CNN Hero Awards last 2009, but his quest continues and encourages everyone takes part on this challenge. HoterlWithHeart.com (HWH), an online hotel booking website who is also promotes charity and advocacy among their clients and now they answers on this challenge with their Pencil Project in support of Dynamic Teen Company (DTC) who headed the Kariton Klasrum Project in Cavite.

I had visited the area several times; this weekend activity doesn’t stop in one point alone, instead from morning until late afternoon the volunteers from DTC targets four areas in Cavite. Areas include a vacant lot in Cavite Market, cemetery, dumpsite and Badjao community. With their kariton (cart) that serves as shelves for educational toys, books, and other educational materials, DTC brings education in their own way to the impoverished children. Along with this they also promote proper hygiene and basic rights among the kids.

With the Pencil Project of HoterlWithHeart.com, for every sign up they will donate a pencil to Klasrum Kariton. So if ever a thousand or more will be signing up for this campaign a thousand or more pencils will be given to children and they will benefit a lot. DTC is a non profit organization, in order to go on with there advocacy is with the help of those who has heart and willing to help. A simple signature for this campaign doesn’t give harm and it doesn’t eats much of our time by filling up our pledge to support. But for the kids who will benefit for this project it will bring a change to their lives. I saw how hard for this kids who doesn’t have the fortune to afford decent education even they really love to have one, and with DTC’s Klasrum Kariton Project basic education was brought to them and a simple pledge for a pencil can bring a lot for them. Daniel Radcliffe ends his “Potter” journey in the Deadly Hallows finale

The end is near for a decade long journey of Daniel Radcliffe in taking the role of Harry Potter as the finale of the franchise will happen on July 14. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 is the last movie that Radcliffe done for the film adaptation of famous wizard novels of J.K Rowling. With Rupert Grint who played the role of Ron Weasley and Emma Watson as Hermione Granger, the three young adults will be closing this part of their lives where it touches millions of followers of Harry Potter. This film will be distributed by Warner Bros Pictures and available in 3D, IMAX 3D and regular format.

Here is a short interview of Daniel Radcliffe sharing his memories of playing the role of Harry Potter and what’s next for him after the phenomenal movie franchise.

Question: Has there been any crying since you all know the “Harry Potter” films are ending?

Daniel Radcliffe: There was lots of crying for Emma, Rupert and I, and the crew as well because a lot of them have been there for 10 years as well. So, there were lots of tears from everybody, really. It was very sad. And, at the time, I remember sort of being quite inconsolable for like two hours. And then four hours later I was on a plane and I was reading a script for another movie. So, we move on. [Laughs]

Q: We’ve seen over the ten years how you’ve changed. But how haven’t you changed? How have you remained the same?

Radcliffe: I’m still very hyperactive. I’ve still got quite a lot of energy. I think the one thing that’s different is that I have worked out a way in which I can sort of pace that energy more sensibly throughout the day so I don’t just go nuts for four hours and then crash and burn. [Laughs] I’m probably still as curious now as I was then. I think curiosity is probably the greatest thing anybody can have. And I think I’m still quite respectful of a film set as I was then. But when I was 11, it was out of a sort of awe that I had respect for film sets.

Q: The fandom for Harry Potter has grown so huge and is constantly evolving and growing with the films. What are your thoughts on just the sheer size and scale of it?

Radcliffe: In terms of the actual scale of Potter, I think it is amazing. In a way, one of the things that keeps me grounded and sane is the fact that you have to remember that it’s not because of me that people are screaming at the premieres. Anybody who got this part would have had that level of mania surrounding them a few weeks a year. And I think that’s very important to remember. I just got very, very lucky with the part that sort of I fell into.

The other thing I think I’d say about the fans and about the scale is the fact that it’s interesting, because Harry Potter—even though there are films now—is still, at the heart of it, a literary phenomenon. And when you compare the fans of this to something, say like Star Trek or Star Wars, all of which have that same incredibly devoted fan base, because it starts off as a literary thing, it’s kind of inspired a generation of really, really, literate, interesting fans, people who—having been so inspired by the Potter books—have then gone off and expanded their reading into other areas. I think that’s the most remarkable thing about it. I don’t think there are any other kinds of fans like Harry Potter fans, who are so interested in everything, not just the thing that is the focus of their fandom.

Q: When you were reading the Potter books, did you ever think, ‘I would love to be Harry Potter’?

Radcliffe: No. Not particularly. His life sounded like a nightmare. [Laughs] I kind of thought, ‘God, this poor kid.’ But, I think, after I got the part, I then went back and read all four—I think only the first four had come out at that point—and I read them all back to back and just became obsessed. I would charge around my room, despite having been filming as him during the day, I would [Laughs] tell my grandma over at my hotel room in Newcastle where we were filming the scenes where the broom leaps up into my hand, and I would be going back to my hotel room at night and having wand fights with nobody. [Laughs] Oh, yes, it’s a pity I didn’t have a brother. Yeah.

Q: Emma has been concentrating on college. Are you going to concentrate on your career?

Radcliffe: I’m gonna try to make a career for myself. You know, Emma’s the most academic cat of all three of us by quite a long way. [Laughs] So, I don’t think like university would have been on the cards for myself and Rupert. [Laughs] I found school very, very hard. I got good results most the time, but then I dropped out a year early because I was going to rehearsals for “Equus” and, to be honest, I think, well, I found something that I have some aptitude with, or I hesitate to say I’m good at because I’m so far away from being finished at art school and I’ve still got a lot to learn. But I certainly think I’m better at this than I would be at anything else. So I’m going to try and just focus on that and try and make as long a career of myself as possible.

Q: I imagine you just getting mobbed in the streets. Is the public used to you now?

Radcliffe: I think around my area they are quite used to me. It’s kind of, ‘Oh, there he is again.’ But, also, it’s the advantage of being 5’5”—no one really looks twice. If you’re just a skinny face in a crowd, it doesn’t attract too much attention.

Q: Was it ever out of control?

Radcliffe: Not really. Only in Japan. It went wild when I was in Japan. It’s amazing because it manages to be both aggressive and incredibly restrained at the same time. They will charge towards you, but it is like there is an invisible barricade two feet from you. And they will not go past that. It’s really incredible. It is like having some sort of force field to protect you. I mean, when I arrived in Japan when I was 13, there were five thousand people waiting in the airport arrival screaming. I mean, it was pretty intense. I am a Beatle in Japan.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 was directed by David Yates and also stars Ralph Fiennes, Michael Gambon, Alan Rickman, Helena Bonham Carter and Maggie Smith.

Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis star in Horrible Bosses

Horrible Bosses is a kind of movie where most can really relate and have a good laugh while watching it. This dark comedy film of New Line Cinema features character actors Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis and directed by Seth Gordon. Joining the three actors to be their horrible bosses in the film were Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell, and Kevin Spacey. This movie will be distributed by Warner Bros Pictures beginning September 7, 2011 here in the Philippines.

Horrible Bosses follows the lives of three friends Nick Hendricks (Bateman), Dale Arbus (Day) and Kurt Buckman (Sudeikis) who are having employer problem. Their bosses Dave Harken (Spacey), Dr. Julia Harris, D.D.S. (Aniston) and Bobby Pellit (Farrell) who enjoys using their position to make power trip their employees. For the three friends, quitting was never an option so they end up asking the help of Dean Jones (Jamie Foxx), an ex-convict hit-man and “murder consultant” who gives dubious advices on how they will act against their bosses.

The film was produced by Brett Ratner and Jay Stern, from a screenplay by Michael Markowitz and John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, story by Markowitz.

Team Azkals advances to the 2nd Round of 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier

World Cup is almost near for the Philippine Azkals after winning 4:0 on their round two fight against Sri Lanka Brave Reds at the Rizal Memorial Complex this afternoon. With the total score of two rounds 5:1 (aggregate) in favor of Team Azkals, they are now advancing to the second round of 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Among the players who contributed the scores in favor for the Philippine team were Chieffy Caligdong, Phil Younghusband, and.Angel Guirado. It was Younghusband who scored twice, one on the first half and on the last few minutes of the game though a penalty kick.

As they advance to the second qualifier round of 2014 FIFA World Cup that will happen in Brazil, they will face the football team of Kuwait.

I did mine, where my father loves watching basketball games both local and international. He also love watching other sports which sometimes he really watch Olympic coverage the whole day and eats lunch or dinner at our living room so that he will not miss anything. Nestle Celebrates 100 Years with I Choose Wellness Expo 2011

The centennial celebration of Nestle in touching lives of every Filipino never stops after the success of Kasambahay Habambuhay. Now, they are having “I Choose Wellness Expo 2011” at the Megratrade Hall in SM Megamall from July 2-3 and it is free admission to let everyone have a weekend filled with fun and know how to be healthy with the help of Nestle products.

All the products of Nestle are in the expo from milk, to energy drink, coffee and cooking ingredients. The area was divided in four parts; Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Nutrition Consultation. In this manner, Nestle shows how they became part of the everyday and all most 24 hours life of every Filipinos. There so many activities in the expo which varies according to age, personalized according to the products and more freebies to enjoy.

Aside from the fun which I had in puzzle contest in Bear Brand booth (Morning Area), running activity at the Milo booth (Afternoon Area) and dancing at the Nestle Low Fat Milk (Evening Area), there is also nutrition consultation area where Nestle bring doctors that can help us know how to take care of our health. This activity is free because of Nestle, which in most of the hospitals this kind of consultation is expensive.

After the draw last result last June 28 that favors the team of Sri Lanka, Philippine Azkals is determined to win at the 2nd round Philippine Azkals VS Sri Lanka football game for the 2014 World Cup qualifier rounds. The said football fight will happen at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex on July 3.

Among the key players of Team Azkals includes Phil and James Younghusband, Ian Araneta, Neil Etheridge, Angel Guirado, Anton del Rosario, and team captain Ali Borromeo.

The said fight will be telecast live at 2pm on Studio 23, with a replay on Tuesday (July 5) at 4pm, both on the same channel. Balls Channel will have it telecast by 8pm on the same day.

Cebu Pacific "International Seat Sale Promo" for as low as P999

World Food Programme staff recovered safely in Ethiopia

ROME – The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) confirmed today the safe recovery of two of its Ethiopian staff members. The two staff members went missing after an incident in Ethiopia’s Somali Region on 13 May 2011.

WFP confirms that the staff members have been brought to the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, where they are receiving medical treatment and stress counseling and being reunited with their families.

WFP and the UN system more broadly worked closely with national and regional authorities for the safe return of the two men. This incident underscores the need to ensure the safety and security of UN staff.

3M partners with Haribon Foundation in saving Philippine forests

Being nominated as one of the Top Ten Best Corporate Citizens of the World by Corporate Responsibility Magazine, 3M Philippines officially announced their support to Haribon Foundation for the Road to 2020 campaign. The project aims to restore 1 million hectares of rainforest in the country by 2020. Among the activities that Haribon rolled out are planting trees and to lessen carbon footprint, conserving the country’s biodiversity, and promote sustainability of resources for the future generation.

With this 3M Philippines commits to join the tree planting program of Haribon including the Adopt-A-Seedling wherein the company including the employees will be adopting 1,000 seedlings. Along with their partnership, 3M has stepped up to the plate to conserve the country’s forests and will conduct fun runs to raised awareness and funds that will be given to Haribon as part of their involvement to environmental protection.

With this partnership, 3M Philippines and Haribon Foundation signed an agreement and start rounding in their offices at Carmona (Cavite) and McKinley (Makati). The pledge done among the 3M employees is through putting their support in a Christmas Tree.

An “all-star” Philippine Azkals football team will face a tough delegation from Sri Lanka to kick-off their journey to the 2014 World Cup, the biggest tournament in the world of football.

With new yet experienced recruits from abroad, the Azkals are confident to snatch a win on unfriendly soil as they play Leg 1of the first round of qualifying matches in Sri Lanka on Wednesday (June 29).

ABS-CBN Sports, the official coveror of Azkals’ international matches, will air the much-awaited opening showdown on Studio 23 at 5:30pm on the same day, pre-empting “Justice League” and “The Wrap.”

Afterwards, the Azkals, will defend home field as the battle shifts to the Philippines for the qualifying round’s Leg 2.

Watch the Philippine football team’s home game at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex live on Sunday (July 3) at 2pm on Studio 23, with a replay on Tuesday (July 5) at 4pm, both on the same channel.

Already stacked with talent led by star players Phil and James Younghusband, Ian Araneta, Neil Etheridge, Angel Guirado, and team captain Aly Borromeo, the Azkals are believed to be more solid with the entry of Fil-Germans Stefan Schrock and returnee Manuel Ott.

Melai and Jason star in The Adventures of Pureza: Queen of the Riles

Pinoy Big Brother Double Up ex-housemates and real life couple Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco star in their first movie together under Star Cinema entitled The Adventures of Pureza: Queen of the Riles. The movie directed by Soxie Topacio and co produced by Cine Screen will be showing in all cinemas nationwide beginning July 13, 2011.

The movie follows the everyday struggle of Pura (Melai) to earn a living for herself and her brother Ulam (Martin del Rosario). Hoping for an easy escape from dismal life Pura disguises as a super model named Pureza Mayriles to replace the Brazilian model that escaped Ruben (Jason), which he should be ushering her to the event. Pura never thought that the big opportunity that came will help her and Ulam to take them away from being poor instead it brings her family and Ruben to more danger.
