Who said living abroad will take us to the heights? It may take us to the higher level financially, but not mentally. Every individual's mentality depends on how they think and act. Whether we live in USA or India, as long as it is the problem with our mentality nobody can put us in a right track. Are you going to ask me why i am saying all this? ok, i'll tell you why.. Today i have seen two different news on the news paper (of course eenadu), both happened in USA and both belongs to us (NRIs)..

News 1: It is about few NRIs who are working as S/W engineer etc, set up few restaurants and providing temporary jobs to fellow Indians who lost their jobs due to the bad economy or any other reason. (I agree that i don't know how accurate this news is, but definitely this is something that we all should appreciate)

News 2: Few NRIs in Saint Louis (USA) are going to celebrate the 100 days function of the movie "MESTRI".. and they are going to felicitate Dr. Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad who played the CM role in this movie.. I doubt how many of us know about this movie and i also doubt whether this movie is something that really needs a function for it's SUCCESS(FARSE)? but surprisingly those who are conducting this function are doctors, scholars etc., How ridiculous is this?

That is why i said, your basic character is something which will always reveals your true colors infront of the people no matter how many doctorates you have and no matter where you live..

What is the actual agreement between CONGRESS and MIM?

Any elections, they will have under table agreements. They won't announce to the people that they are teaming up together, but that is what they do. Congress will put some waste fellows in the areas where MIM is contesting and in return to that MIM will ask certain community state wide to cast their votes for Congress. But what exactly are their terms? nobody knows.. Most of us are very much ignoring this issue as it is not getting the media's coverage compared to the other parties tie-ups..

Luckily today i saw an article in eenadu where BJP MLA M.Kishan Reddy asked congress to answer few questions.. Some of those are really need our attention and share your opinion here..

Check on madrasas in Hyderabad..

Yesterday there was a bomb blast in Pakistan Madrasa which killed 17 people.

It is undeinable that from the day of the madrasas inception, many doubts are there on the activities of these madrasas. In the recent election campaign film star Pawan kalyan too raised his concern about the activities going on under the roof of madrasa. Unfortunately, in hyderabad you can see most of the madrasas just around the International airport which can be very dangerous if there are any such activities (like the above pakistan madrasa). So, why can't Police and government do a thorough check in the premises of madrasas and getting updated informations on madrasas activities time to time until everyone feels these madrasas are safe and out of extremism.

The organisers of madrasas also should co-operate the government authorities to have a check in their institutes. If they ask me "whether will i agree if the government want to conduct checks in other schools or religious institutions?". My answer is "yes, I will" . There is nothing wrong to let the government and people of the state to clarify about what i am doing as long as i am not doing any anti-social activities.. So, If you don't do it, why do you need to worry or object? let the police and government have a check in madrasas..

Purandeswari's low level Knowledge in Ministry of Human Resource development

In her response to a question (Question No:366) raised by a Rajya Sabha member (none other than her brother Nandamuri Harikrishna), Smt.Purandeswari has shown her talent..

Question: Will the Minister of HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state:-

(a) whether the parameter set by the higher authorities of the Education Department for taking action against a teacher stopping his/her promotion or increment if their students don’t perform well in the annual examinations, can’t be adopted in the institutes of higher learning particularly the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs);
(b) whether as per the present trend in IITs most of the SC and ST students are suffering a lot on the ground that their performance are not up to the mark;
(c) if so, whether any IIT has taken any action so far against their teachers in this regard; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

Answer by : MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT (SMT. D. PURANDESWARI)

Answer: (a): There is no parameter set up in Higher Education, including Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), for taking action against teachers if their students do not perform well in annual examinations.
(b) to (d): It is not correct to say that most of the Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST) students are suffering on the ground that their performance is not upto the mark. For SC / ST students, who perform poorly, special efforts are made to help them through guidance and counseling. Separate cells to assist the students from weaker sections are available to solve their day to day problems.

The reality is, it is true that SC/ST students have the record of very poor performances in IITs due to their backdoor entry (in the name of constitutional fruits ..)

this is said by an ex-IIT student, " About 20 SC/ST were admitted. Some of them lived in Hostel 7 and I became friends with two of them. Not many regular IITians were talking to them. I don't think it was because they were Schedule Caste students, but because there was a general impression that unlike others who really had to work hard and came on merit, these students came through back door, causing resentment. It seems like 45 percent was the minimum cut off score on their high school board exams to get admitted under this program. In contrast 60% was the general cut off score for getting a first division on board and I was not aware of any of the regular students who scored below that. In fact most appeared to have had scored 70-80 percent or more! Obviously there was a vast quality difference between the two groups of students. "

IBNlive News : IIT-Delhi sacks 12 SC/ST students, under probe (whether SC/ST or OC, i always feel letting in waste fellows into a class where you can't have waste fellows is an absolute waste of valuable time, money and everything.. even they are from a forward caste, if they don't have enough brains, then there is no point to put them into country's toughest educational institute and expect the good results from them.. Indirectly, we are downgrading our educational institutions' reputation and values by doing that.. Even people like Bill Gates gave very good remarks about indian IITs, if we dump the dumb fellows in those IITS and see the above results, at the end even the bright students' career prospects will be gone because of the dumb fellows.. If it is something to do with competition, let them compete and get the seat, don't give them backdoor entry.. meantime, somebody please try to give some inputs to this dumb minister as well)

Why secular India thinking about Mohammad but not about Goddess Lakshmi?

We are all hypocrites.. We say this is 'Hindustan', but in reality is this 'Hindustan?' I won't deny the equal rights of the people of every other minority religion in India, and i don't need special treatment for Hindus India by the Government of India.. But all i want to know is why this Congress Government always treats majority hindus as nothing and always try its best to make the Muslims in India happy?

Is India biased? no more secular (or) equality?

Recently there was an issue of printing Goddess Lakshmi's photo on meat burgers package by Burger King.. All i know is protest activities were held by Hindu American Foundation (HAF), Hindujagruti etc., hindu organisations and successfully made the American fastfood Giant to remove that advertisement. Unless i am deaf or blind, i didn't find any official involvement of government of India in protesting it. It is the provate organisations who did that and succeded..

But, our government is so concerned about some pictures of prophet mohammad which were being displayed in a site for more than 3 years. Btw, India banned that site long ago.. What i don't understand is, the islamic countries didn't ban those sites, Country like Indonesia with world's largest islamic population didn't ban those sites, it's neighbouring Islamic country Malaysia didn't ban those sites, forget about banning those sites, they didn't even make any official request to remove those pictures. But India banned those sites around 2 years back and now have sent an official letter from Crime Investigative Department of Mumbai to remove those pictures..

Ok, you are doing it for good, we understand.. But why only for Mohammad? why not for Lakshmi? any one has any Idea why? Why Indian Police or Indian Government don't take insults to Hindus as seriously as the insults to Muslims/Christians? What is that special rights that Indian Constituation gave to our fellow citizens which we don't have?
