Watashi ga Motenai nowa Do Kangaete Omaera ga Warui! (It’s not my fault I’m not popular!)  is a manga that has been popular on 4chan for quite some time now..

And since the Tankōbon was released, we got into contact with one of the two people who work on this manga.
Sadly, some people decided to send her pictures of their Johnny’s.. But she was cool enough to brush it off while making a remark about a certain sensitive Voice Actress (Gee, who could that be..) who had a lot of scandals last year.

It’s not my fault I’m not popular! is published by the same folk who publish Daily Lives of High School Boys.

It’s basically about an unpopular girl, socially awkward and all that, who is -trying- to become popular with the strangest methods and is filled with happiness just by having someone look at her with a smile (But then it’d turn out that person was smiling at someone behind her, but don’t tell her that). Some of you might relate with her.

Watashi ga Motenai nowa Do Kangaete Omaera ga Warui! is a cute manga that was published online for free all this time and has released a Tankōbon recently, which sold out on both CDJapan and Amazon easily thanks to the western fanbase (Apparently it isn’t that popular in Japanese bookstores and our friends over at 2chan are complaining that they HAVE TO GO OUTSIDE to buy it now).
CDJapan is now having preorders for a 2nd batch that will be released on February 17th. My order is in there.
So buy the manga if you enjoy this series and want to support the duo who bring this to us all – we might even get a proper western release too, as the first volume even mentions that it’s popular on a foreign 2chan-like message board!

Outside the game, I got something as well for my birthday: Megahouse Elea, from the anime Blassreiter.
Since Al Azif and Alice, I’ve started to become a fan of Niθ’s character designs.
Plus points for Ms. Hanazawa voicing her!

I haven’t put her on the base yet, only took her out to see if there were annoying paint problems.
Saw a white dot on her side, will check to see if I can remove that when I make some space free.

Here we see Nendoroid Mayuri from Steins;Gate, Niitengo Fear from C3 and Figma Kanbaru from Bakemonogatari.
I got Mayuri and Kanbaru from the AmiAmi sale before they went fullretard and made them JAPANESE STORE ONLY, NO FILTHY GAIJIN CAN BUY. Snagged Nendoroid Nymph before that too and she’s on the way.

Speaking of AmiAmi, they changed the English site to match the Japanese one now.
They added on-site combining, wishlist and some other stuff.
However, they removed the stock number and the like, which is ANNOYING.
Also, clicking on the Angel Beats! series tag brought me to a dead page.

Mayuri came with 2 Metaru Oopah~. One for holding on her hands (has pegs) and the other for throwing around (no pegs). I.. forgot to take a picture of Kanbaru as I quickly proceeded to rip her arm off to put the monkey paw on.
That rain jacket was one hell to put on her.. So have the Rainy Devil instead.

Fear here came with Dengeki Daioh.
Surprisingly, a decent-painted Niitengo (The Kore wa Zombie ones were a bit.. And Rewrite.. ugh..)
I would’ve still preferred Nendoroid Petits.

So speaking of Nendoroid petits, here’s Ruri! From one of my favorite shows, Martian Successor Nadesico!
This Anime Style issue is filled with Ruri and Nadesico goodness and of course, the petit itself too.

And here she is next to her mother. Ruri~  Mai Daughteru~

Finally there’s Revoltech Evangelion Revolution Unit 05, along with that skeleton angel.

Has some great improvements over the older one. And no floppy lance.
It comes with some static pegs for those.
The Angel’s head was still floppy as hell due those tiny joints, but there was also a static joint to replace that one.
All is well again.

Now to prepare myself for the dentist tomorrow.. Urgh.

This time, it’ll be a Figma one I guess..

So let’s go through the recent list and see whatever complaints or else appears..

SEGA Fate/Extra, Saber
Comparing with my other SEGA figs, pretty damn nice.
She comes with Arturia’s head as well for some reason… What? Thought just “Saber” wouldn’t sell, SEGA? Thought you had to add the original Saber too?!
I’ll just treat it as her decapitated head.. For the glory of Rome (as it burns into ashes)!

SEGA Baka Test, Shouko Bunny ver.
Had it next to the swimsuit version yesterday for a bit.
Hair is more dark on the bunny one and the quality looks a bit better.
Her heels left a mark on the base though..

Nendoroid Petit Extension set, Fate/Stay Night
The set includes petit Archer, Lancer, Caster and Saber Alter.
Berserker is a fullsized Nendoroid with that scale..
Every single one of them had a smudge on their face that I had to wipe off with an eraser.
Other complaint would be that it got taxed. From HS, even. HOW?!

PSP Black Rock Shooter The Game, Limited Edition
Includes: Figma White Rock Shooter, a mini artbook, soundtrack and an AmiAmi exclusive BRS fan.
Grabbed it off the sale, so it was an impulse buy..
Haven’t played the game yet, so no comment on that.
The Figma is pretty awesome. I do fear that the “wings” might fall off any moment, as there’s not a lot of friction to keep those pegs stuck in her backpack.
I also had to jam a screwdriver in the hole in her back to make it a bit bigger, as the pegs of the stand & backpack wouldn’t fit.
Also got taxed..

Figma Ore no Imouto, Ayase
She’s.. pretty bland.
Had some white paint dust on her head I had to wipe off.
Rest is cool.
She’s currently running around like a yandere on my desk.
She got taxed too..

Figma Raildex, Touma
Another guy figure between all the girls..
Just annoyed he can’t look up(!) as even when he’s screaming here, he can’t see where he’s going.
He was taxed together with Ayase..

Figma Black Rock Shooter OVA, Yomi
Sweet girl, grabbed her off the sale.
Annoyed I don’t have Mato, so I could DUAL PERSONA!

Figma Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, Kamen Rider Spear
Also from the sale.
Mainly bought him to headswap with Araragi.
His shoulderpads get in the way…

AmiAmi Zero Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Hanyu
Frustrated, Annoyed and Sad.
I used my HS points on her to get a 2000 yen discount.
Then she fell into UNLIMITED DELAY WORKS.
She’s also so small with a shitty stand.. And customs charged me €20 so the discount is void!
WHY?! WHY DO THEY HATE ME SO?!
I’m considering not buying AAZ figs again. The Nymph I got was quite a disappointment as well and since I already got her, I don’t feel like grabbing the Nendoroid.
Maybe if she’s on clearance, like Mayushii..
The paint & sculpt are good though. No complaints about that.

Not very far in yet, but having never played a Persona game before.. I’m enjoying myself.

Head can’t move much, floppy arms and his whole lower body keeps falling off.
The swords  and outfit are cool, but they could’ve at least tried to make him.. Not literally fall apart.

Back when deciding my first Al PVC, I was debating whether to grab this one or the Max Factory.
Grabbed the MF then, now the BEAT.
Had to rub off a lot of dirt and the mirror on the base still needs a good cleaning (A big mess from that sticker that was on it so it wouldn’t be scratched..)

Look at those eyes.. And that ducky.
Couldn’t resist so I picked her up from the Otacute sale.
Got the blond one for the cats and violin and I still want the brunette for the laptop and guitar.. And then the Morning Coffee ver of blondie.. Urgh.

Figma Puella Magi Madoka, Madoka
Disappointment? I saw on 2ch already some fuckups and mine had some smudges on the skirt and a missing button.. QB also keeps falling over.
The bow keeps sliding around in her hand and the arrows fall out of her hands..
God, I hope Homura is better but I already heard tons of complaints about her…

Just showing some signs of life.
I bought a PSP3000 last month (I’m always late with nextgen consoles/handhelds) and picked up P3P Collectors Edition and Fate/Extra Limited Edition.
Also have Queen’s Gate (JP) from Figma Maron=Makaron and got the BRS Game (JP) with Figma WRS on the way..
So I’m catching up on the gaming time I skipped out on because of never having money for them.

I’m really not much of a gamer these days. Probably was most active when I was around 10 years old.
Rarely finish any games. Only ones in memory are Pokemon Yellow and Gold on the Gameboy (Color), some Starwars games on the PC.. Oh, and Mario 64.
Probably a whole other lot of PC games from 10 years ago that I just don’t remember.
Was in the final stage on Marioland 4? I think, Light Temple on Ocarina of Time.. Don’t get me started on Final Fantasy.
Some force prevents me from every finishing one of those.
Guess Guild Wars counts for finishing the storyline?
I also have a lot of bad luck of savegames getting erased/corrupted and losing interest.
Mainly because of the grind. I must be one of the few people who do it for the story..

So yeah, I’m playing a lot of Fate/Extra and P3P at the moment.
Hope Corpse Party hits Europe soon.
Just throw the damned English version on the network! I know you have it! America has it!
I don’t care about Spanish/Italian/German/French language support! JUST GIVE ME MY GAME!!

Trying hard to pick up the Requiem comics again.
Pray for a miracle to happen.
