Just featured this Madoka Magica game way back last year on my anime blog. I forgot to do a follow up of the game if there's an english version because it's a native Japanese game. checking out the wiki for Madoka Magica Grief Syndrome it appears that you can play the game with no knowledge to the Japanese language because most if not all have already it's English translation.

I'll probably write in in depth post of this madoka game in my anime blog, but I might first watch the anime series before I start writing the post as I haven't watched the anime which is considered to be good by the anime community. And of course I'll write a review of the anime. For the mean time you can enjoy the video that I got from youtube. I'll do some research for the meantime on where can I get the game officially and compare if the price is right.

Atelier Ayesha Battle System

Note that this won't be available in the US so for those who knows Japanese then it's a big advantage if you have plans in purchasing Atelier Ayesha which will be released in June 23 this year. Above is a preview of the battle system of the game which is what I'm looking for the past few weeks yet Gust just aired it lately. I was intrigued if the game is solely for Otaku Gamers who just wants to have a taste of an anime inspired game with great artworks, animations and visuals.

Checking out the battle system by viewing the video gave us some insights that this is your typical turn-based action RPG. Seasoned RPG fanatics will probably get this type of game instantly if they used to play Final Fantasy Franchise. Plans for a US release could happen but that would take more than a year if not less for the english port to happen. Just in time for the PS3 to degrade and it's predecessor to start offering new titles of the platform.

Why Rusty Hearts didn't click

Despite the great looks it still failed to impress me. If you're going to ask me, I didn't even tried playing the game just seeing several videos on YouTube. Here are my thoughts on the game and just tell me if my hypothesis is wrong.

It seems to be an instance based game and because of that most of the players online are not able to interact to the game environment simple because it's not instance based.
Though there are a couple of instance based game that are good Rusty hearts didn't have anything that is good to offer or something that stands out among the competition.
Instead of putting some general character classifications they put in naming. I'm not sure why I hated that they put names on the character lists, like Franz, Tude, Angela but I think it will be much better if they categorize it by class. I'm not really sure but I think there's no character advancements in the game
There's no point system where you put in stats to your character to make it stronger
Rusty Hearts is an MMO Brawler style but I think it needs to be put into a different category. Say for example, there's MMOFPS, MMORPG, MMOTPS,
Checking out the video you'll see that the pattern is Go To Room -> Clear Monsters -> Advance

I think players will be entertained of the game but I'm not too sure if they stay to it for so long. So far what i like about it is the anime inspired graphics.

Atelier Ayesha Gameplay preview - What is this game?

Actually not an MMORPG but in fact a console game waiting to be released in PS3 but I would like to share it to anyone especially to those who loves art and anime. As you can see the preview of the game lacks action and there's too much nonsense written in Japanese language.

I actually do not know the mechanics of this game cause I haven't played the Atelier Ayesha franchise. And this game will be released in Japan this June 28th. NIS America will be releasing the previous Atelier Ayesha Franchise which is Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland this coming May 29

Judging from what I got on Wikipedia, the game is more like of an exploratory type. Yet they consider it an RPG. Seems to be another light hearted RPGs wherein the typical western gamer won't appreciate. Here's what I got from Wikipedia.

The Atelier series of games focuses around the use of alchemy. Players control the game's character, roaming the game world to collect objects to use in alchemy recipes to create new objects, including cooking ingredients, recovery items, tools, weapons, armor, and accessories. Synthesized objects are commonly required in order to create more powerful or potent objects through alchemy. Many of the games feature a method of transferring properties of one item from the recipe to the synthesized item. Recipes also often allow the substitution of items, which can either lend better properties to the final synthesized item, or can lead to the character thinking of a completely new recipe.

Overall my thoughts about the game is that it's centered for the Otaku gamers. If you want to take a dip on what the game is about then you'll most likely need to read some reviews if it will suit you.

Diablo III Breaks Record!!

Who says PC Gaming is Dead? and with Diablo 3 breaking the record of the fastest selling pc game in the History! That's definitely a good news for Blizzard but because of this very same reason most of the players are receiving the error 37 window when logging into the game. Despite the 3k price tag of the game here in the Philippines, A bunch of gamers still lined up just for them to taste Blizzard's latest trophy. Anyway here's the press release from Blizzard about the record breaking game.

Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. today announced that as of the first 24 hours of Diablo® III’s release, more than 3.5 million copies had been sold, setting the new all-time record for fastest-selling PC game.* That number does not include the more than 1.2 million players who received Diablo III as part of signing up for the World of Warcraft® Annual Pass promotion. Altogether, more than 4.7 million gamers around the world were poised to storm Sanctuary on day 1 of Diablo III’s release -- representing the biggest PC-game launch in history.

Dragon Nest Philippines and it's Possibilities

If you're a hardcore mmorpg gamer you probably realized the possibilities that Dragon Nest will be the next big thing in MMO but you should know that despite it's adoption of pinoy fans who's been playing the game there is a big chance that user data will be lost in case levelup or egames subsidized it.

Let's just hope that everything goes well! I'm truly happy that dragon nest is already recognized locally seeing computer shops install the game client. The problem now is that desktop units are outdated and the graphically amusing effects is not fully utilized.

The biggest advantage if local companies get Dragon Nest is the chance for general public to reach the cash shop. AFAIK you need Cherry Credits in order to get DN points and for the players to get premium items in the shop. Anyway these problem will get solved if LU or egames will purchase it. Aside from that I don't have anything to add.

I'll try to add additional data if I see some good improvements in the community. Other than that you can check out my anime blog if you like anime.

32-year old Dies playing Diablo 3

According to an article of gameranx, Diablo 3 already claimed it's very first victim after a long 3 day marathon of the game. The 32 year old Russel Shirley suffered a heart attack and was found dead on his home by his landlord and co-worker.

Although we cannot pinpoint on what could have been the real cause of the death as there's no real investigation reports by the authorities, we can associate the death to the player's addictive gaming. Checking out the comment section a user named Volte6 who introduced himself as a close friend of the victim states that he didn't die because of playing Diablo 3. Here are his statements

Russell was a good friend of over 15 years for me. He lived in my guest house. We played diablo 3 together. Unfortunately the events portrayed are not entirely accurate and are being sensationalized. Russell struggled with health problems for some time and did not commit to a 3 day marathon session of Diablo 3. Many were excited over the release. The night before he was out with friends until 1am. He will be missed. I hope this article either realized that they are printing inaccuracies are immortalizing him as "obsessive gamer dies from videogaming" or retracts some of these statements. At least look for some facts. Jesus f***ng christ

So to all of those who are insanely immersed to Diablo 3, this should serve as a warning, moderate your playtime and control yourself instead of the game controlling you.

Blade And Soul Awesome Backgrounds

Something to entice you this summer. The still unreleased game in the Philippines! And Hopefully something that LevelUpGames consider publishing here! If you're still using an old PC then better prepare to ramp it up since your video card and processors needs some steroids to see the full potential of Blade And Soul. If you can't buy Diablo III because of the 2.5K price tag then I guess Blade and Soul is more than enough to amuse you.

Long Hiatus is Over!

After a long time being inactive I'm finally back! So Far So good I'm back again and I'm staying in the province since i quit my job and now I'm back being a neet. I'm doing problogging again but I concentrate my efforts on making my anime blog a success and the bad thing about it is that It's still not ranking well =) This is definitely a test of patience so I'm revisiting my past blogs while waiting for the positive/negative results.

I also decided to dive in mobile application development on windows phone 7 but so far I haven't started yet but I'll be going in there of course. I've missed a lot of updates in MMO news but I'm still checking the community and the good news is that the mmo world is booming. I'll be purchasing Diablo III but before that happens I have to make sure that my pc can handle the beating that Diablo III is asking. I also have Blade and Soul in mind but because it's still in CBT after a long long long years (2 years) but yeah! If I'm going to purchase a new PC then these two games are on the top of my list.

Anyway please visit my anime blog if you have time. I'm not sure why it's not ranking well in Google's Pages so I have to dig in on what's the problem and If I'm hit hard by Penguin and Panda updates.

Lightning Highlight on Dissidia 012

I came back to my senses that it's not the Dissidia which I use to see. Perhaps this is the effect of not being active in reading the latest gaming news on the internet. I just came to realize that it's one of the newest titles of PSP, It's the prequel of the Final fantasy Dissidia game which is first to be released before this. Anyway haven't the first to be released before this. Anyway I haven't played FF XIV so Ligthing's not that appealing to me but for some they addore the heroine as she's the very first primary female character on the series. Anyway psp2 is not that long to be release which is expected to be around in stores this 2011. Or you can wait for Nintendo 3ds crack since it's been jailbroken to play DS games. It won't take that long I guess for the 3ds to be crack and play those lovable 3ds games by far.

Dungeon Siege III outs this

So far so good, I'm back after a very long hiatus and please forgive me for this one as I've been focusing more on my tech blog so that's why I left this blog out for good. Anyway I've been balancing content creation and linkbuilding so expect for updates flowing from now on. I also had my writing skills improved for a short amount of time. I still need to proofread though and check my grammar from time to time but I can easily convert my ideas to words now. Well, I do struggle still, but that's a big leap from what I am in the past. Anyway, here's a video of Dungeon Siege III which will be launched this May 2011. Not a fan of the game but RPGs are close to my heart so getting into the series will most likely lead me on following the series. Anyway Diablo III has been stucked in Blizzard's den for so long, I've been anxious if it will be seeing the light of release. As cool as it gets in youtube videos it's not that exciting anymore as players are frustrated because they waited so long. In Contrary Dungeion Siege III has it's release date so at least this will be a good time waster for a waiting blizzard fan. Rumored psp phone's been circulating in the interwebs for quite a while now and it's been making a scene again lately for it's working video in kotaku. I don't know how they got a video of the psp phone with a loaded game on it but I assure you that it worked really well in sony's mobile phone. It booted for quite a while but it still need some tests and benchmark if it really booted slow compared to mainstream PSPs. There's no gameplay video with high definition games but it worked smoothly in a racing game. You can switch from phone-mode to psp mode by sliding the gamepad in it and start selecting a game. The Phone mode was cool and the design's very similar to smartphone. The gamepad I think is something weird to me I guess and I think uncomfortable to use if played. Now, I hope that this would form a good synergy to boost up psp sales in the future, My psp games download needs some steroids now seems it's position in the SERPs are going low.

Kinect hacked to play World of Warcraft

This just give me the shivers of playing World of Warcraft using Kinect. The guys that just created this is totally amazing. I know that the Kinect is not yet ready to be released because of the bugs in the system. But if Microsoft can pull this thing off then this will definitely be an epic win to the Company. I guess Microsoft planned it at the very start by allowing programmers to hack the system so things would be easier for them to open the possibilities of the machine. I guess it's time for me to save some money on this device so I can purchased the system when it's ready to be released. And yeah, I think geeks with fats stored in their bellies will be gone now if they'll do intense gaming with Kinect plugged while playing their favorite MMO. And for sure companies will think of adapting the idea created by the boys behind this to have an integrated support for the games to be released. I'll be watching this thing when it comes out. Better start abandoning my cityville cheats guide i guess because of this.

Cardmon Hero, card collecting + rpg

Ok so this may seem really really weird because the combination of card collecting and mmo is a bad taste. But the way the video looks may not taste bad after all. Well, the way I look at it is that I'm seeing mecha and fantasy mmo combined with some medieval backgrounds with a mecha monsters wandering in the gameworl. Cardmon Hero Online is the new mmorpg from hanbisoft which introduces you to cardcollecting mmorpg. This is another leap in mmorpg genre but may be very similar to they typical mmorpg that you will be seeing. Cardmon Hero online may be doing some beta testing in just a couple of days so here's the site if you're interested in playing another mmorpg with mecha and fantasy combined. It's free so you can abused it now, But I suggest to wait for reviews and rating before you get started. It's advisable to play safe in open beta phase to avoid some character deletions and rollback if anything goes wrong in the game. Rumored PSP2 Design

This picture is probably one of the rumored psp2 design which is coming very soon from sony. There's also this psp phone which is not yet confirmed but with dates of release this spring. Maybe sony is having some manufacturing rush now because of Nintendo's rumored great console and they don't to be left behind in the scene. So anyway the design's pretty similar to go but for sure the hardware specification's much different of course. Devoted sony fans wants the device to be slick without sacrificing the heavy duty graphics pounding games. Well, it's Sony ofcourse and for sure they're racing the deadline because they don't want to miss the sales upon the Nintendo 3ds release. Let's just hope that it turns out to be ok if the device would be released, For sure other opportunist wants to release it really fast so bugs would be neglected and they sure want to hack it up for some psp games download.

Anyway let's hope this turns out to be really well, and yeah in my humble opinon if the design would be really really like that in the pic then I hope that they remake it cause I want something new from sony.

I've been seeing some outburst in the facebook charts with this new game cityville. It's from the same company, Zynga, also the creator of the top grossing game in facebook which is farmville. I have no interest of the game by the way, but the cityville cheats keyword is creating a buzz now in google serps so I want to take advantage of it. I'm doing some linkbuilding and stuff right now to make this to work. I hope this bear good results since the competition is really really tough.

Cosmic Break debuts last December 23

It's mecha mecha mecha on the newest mmorpg realeased in korea "cosmic break" last December 23 when the final beta test ended and eager players who's been driving their character are now carried away to the official server of the game. It's been a while since I posted and it's also some time when I saw another mecha game. The only mecha games I know is exteel(deceased),RF Online and raycrash and now the newest MMOTPS game Cosmic Break is the newest game on the block. The trailer is definitely enticing for gamers who's been a fan of semi-fps and mecha though I kinda feel that the game's too common. Haven't really seen any success to mecha mmorpgs and the gundam online which could be another big break in mecha mmos are not making enough noise in the community. Hope I have the time to download cosmic break and the international version is up now so I can do a solid review on it. Another super cool Indie game: Fez

Another look for a super cool indie game which start a cute cat.is I haven't seen a cute game in xbox for decades and all I can say is that I'm truly impressed with the looks of this sidescroller. Though the video quality is not that good, I must give five stars because of the extreme detail that the developers and artists have focused too. The environments are quite unique, this might bore some gamers who's used to 3d and hardcore graphics. This will definitely appeal to girls or geeky/smart gamers who wants minimilastic wit lots of puzzles to solve. The introductory part is really enticing, this just reminds me of old school mario games which I never get bored. Anyway my apartment for rent guide might help you if you're living in manila and if you're looking for some globe promo and a power user at thesame time then those links are good read.

Maple Story getting a PVP

The promotional video i got above is completely not related to the PVP event that will be added in korean maple story this december. Hae ven't experienced playing this game yet, but I knew from the start that is the kind of game that i really like. Because of the animeish graphics and the totally cool environment. But there's one thing that turned me off that this game lacks. And that is the PVP which is the reason why I play mmorpgs. Now the rumors came true, Korean Maple Story will be adding a pvp component for the very first time. I know that this will be really really buggy but this will be completely perfect when the game matures. ^^ I just hope that they capped the game cause of the overpowered players pawning everyone in the pvp arena. Ilomilo is the very definition of - Awesome!!!!

This is Xbox 360 axnd this is Ilomilo, and this is really coool. I've been hearing really cool things about it and I have to say that It's one of the coolest games that the indie developers have made. I kinda remember pikmin with a touch of puzzle solving game in it and i have to say that I've been attached to the character and the environment, but they say that this game kinda cracks your mind because of the difficult puzzles you have to pass... Anyway the trailer's really really good, and there's no platform on where will it released but even though there's less advertising it's been really really a great hit now. The demo version is readily available to be tested and It's in snowball effect now. I bet that this would sell like pancakes in the coming days. Ni no Kuni

I just had a great time watching the trailer for the ps3 game ninukuni... Not yet released, but the game's had a high reputation since it's been made by studio ghibli and the animation and the overall graphics is totally superb. The trailer is an RPG game, reminiscing a final fantasy and a typical JRPG game which really makes an epic comeback to jrpg franchise. It's a roleplaying game but with the presence of a totally magical environment and elements made by studio ghibli then it's a definite win for me. They say that the DS version also had this but I'm not interested anymore since the PS3 is too good compared to the ds version. This also reminds me of spirited away and ponyo on the cliff. Black Rock Shooter gets a PSP title

Haven't seen the anime before but I guess it's phenomenal considering that most bloggers I know get their site skinned with the main characters of the game. Black rock shooter will be released in psp and this will be their debut trailer of the game. I'm considering of buying a psp and I think I'm having some second thoughts if I'll definitely buy this one. It seems that the new PSP2 game will be released and I think one of the reasons why I won't buy it is because the newer releases and the Nintendo 3ds will be coming up. Anyway the game's been phenomenal because of the moe like characters, I don't know the story of it but I guess i'll be spending my time in seeing the anime version. The trailer speaks for itself that it focuses more on the fans and not creating a title. Although creating a great title followed by continous releases like final fantasy is a great Idea. The anime has been outstanding and I think creating a game with a name won't take that long. Just make a great game with perfect story line and gameplay and you're good to go. PSP games download will surely be fired up and if you're looking for apartment for rent by the way. then i think you should consider looking for a cheap one. I made a guide about it here.

Kingdom Under Fire Booth Babes

For some the much awaited event in GStar Korea are the games. But for other, it's the sexy babes in cosplay which just heats up the event. I've been seeing some really cool games in blogs and other tech aggregation sotware. So what I'm after now is the cool oppai babes representing the games to be released in Korea. A good example for GSTar gaming expo is this two babes from Kingdom Under fire which is gaining popularity because of the unique battle system that has been introduced a couple of months back. Now it seems that they're liking the babes more than the game and I think I can feel their sentiments with regards to this. I just hope that they got more on this and the game has a realistic 3d representation of these two babes in their booth lounge.

Anyway, if you happen to be in korea and you got some really good pictures you can send it to me and I'll feature it in my Maximum gaming Blog. I haven't posted some sexy stuff here which gamers do like also. Megaman Online Trailer 2 yet again

The first megaman online trailer was a pure bait for the fans on liking the online game to be released. But this just backfired cause the trailer is just too good that the gameplay just sucks. I know! this may hurt some of you, but the gamplay video is not appealing with some old school graphics. You can play multiple characters of course and the environment is totally great but I still don't know why they make it a sidescroller with mediocre graphics. They preserved the megaman style but I think it's a bad idea to preserve it. I'd rather play an animated graphics with lots and lots of additions cause it's much better that way and it suits much better to the presented trailer. Not to mention anime like graphics is too cool for it. My call center guys loves mega man games and I know they want it to be an anime like graphics cause it's cool to be that way and the possibilities are endless.

Congratulations Manny Pacquiao

Let's congratulate once again manny pacquiao for bringing the bacon for the nth time the WBO/WBC belt in the last Pacquiao and Margarito Fight. Haven't watched the fight but I know it's a thrilling one cause pacquiao had a long game with the mexican's Antonio Tornado Margarito. I'll be seeing the fight in youtube if there's anyone who've uploaded but not yet found by youtube in violation of terms. I'll be on a hiatus again for some time because of some work in the office. I'll be concentrating more on making a system to automate and organize my work. So babes and pinay scandal are on stoppage, and subscribe to my feed to automatically receive updates if you want to know if I'm back on posting spree. Also I haven't honed my programming skills which is my primary priority right now since it's been ages when I touched my favorite IDE so yeah i'll stop my posting spree.
