This year, TVXQ (DBSK) sets a record on Japanese Oricon Weekly Charts for the most number of â??First Placeâ?? rankings this year.
The groupâ??s 24th single, â??MIROTIC,â?? was released in Japan on October 15th and on the day of its release, the album took first place on Oriconâ??s Single and Weekly Charts.

And there it is: South Korean group DBSK's (Tohoshinki's) historic 4th number one song, Mirotic, on the coveted Japanese Oricon Weekly chart!
From left to right: Junsu, Yoochun, Jaejoong, Changmin, Yunho
Reports say DBSK is the first non-Japanese artist in history to have four #1 songs on the Oricon Weekly charts, the first to have four consecutive #1 songs, and if I'm not mistaken, the first to have four #1 songs on Oricon in the same year.
They are now in the history books and is continuing to prove that they are not a flash-in-the-pan idol group. Congrats to the guys of DBSK (aka Tohoshinki, aka THSK, aka TVXQ aka TVfXQ)
