Hyrule Historia is, in essence, the “Zelda Bible.” This 274-page collector’s item was created by Nintendo and published by Shogakukan on December 21, 2011 for Japan and in January 2013 by Dark Horse Comics for the west.

The book contains an unparalleled collection of historical information on The Legend of Zelda franchise.

Though Hyrule Historia provided the fans with an official timeline, the creators mention that various details had to be overlooked and that fans should just enjoy the series and the new timeline.

Following the fever tablet, recently a friend of mine just got the Amazon Kindle tablet and he borrowed to me for a brief photo review. In a previous post, I was playing around with the Samsung Galaxy tab.

Time for another Moe image gallery. This time is about anime show Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (僕は友達が少ない). The story centers in Kodaka Hasegawa, a transfer student, who has trouble to make friends but later he mets some girls who spice his life a little bit.

Yay! Im the happy owner of a Tablet! The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, the 7.0 inches screen version. I was thinking in buying the Ipad mini, or the Galaxy Tab 10.0 but at the end the retail price had something to do (I just spent US$250).

Its a nice addition and so easy to configure.

Box contents: The tablet, PC sync cable and charger.

Remember when I got the Ipod Touch? Well, that was almost 2 years ago!

Recently, it has gotten into me the thinking about doing some gardening. I dont know. I was doing some picture shots with my DSLR to a Cyclamen and a yellow carnation when suddenly the idea struck my head.

This is a lovely cyclamen that is placed in the lobby of the building.

Another month has passed with weeks full of events over here.

The first days of the year and I had to do a lot of Tax work, organizing all my bills from last year for IRS.

Since I had tons of useless papers, my paper shredder machine broke down. I tried to fix it but it was impossible. I will need to go out and buy a new one.

Last week I went to an HP sponsored event about server storage. It was kind of boring with a lot of technical jargon but there was a lot of free food.

The table is ready!!

Bad news! I didnt meet any girl. :(

A friend of mine, lend me her Electric Guitar for a photoshoot. Suddenly I wanted to learn to play the guitar. Could you guys advice me how to start?

And Shana wanted to play with the guitar too! Was quite an adventure her guitar lessons!

It has been almost a year ago since the last giveaway. If you dont remember well or If you are a new reader I was giving Figma Kirino Kousaka and that time winner was ThatEngKid. Another giveaways were posted here and here. This time, in conjunction with Hobby Search we are giving Figma Saber (Fate/Zero Version).

For the uninitiated, the Fender Stratocaster is an electric guitar designed by Leo Fender, George Fullerton, and Freddie Tavares back in 1954. It is a very popular design among electric guitars, so popular that there are imitations around the world.

Resolutions for new year

Reading back my last year's resolutions, I think it is time to do new ones for the following year.

First a New Year's resolution is a commitment that people makes to one or more personal goals, projects, or the reforming of a habit. It is not intended to let the resolutions unfulfilled or just carry them on for the following year.

Vague resolutions arent good either like get a better job or just make a trip. Any resolution should be specific in their own terms and generally let you plan it to do so in the whole year.

I think I did well in my past resolutions, except the Japan trip and the final design of official site mascot.

With that in mind, my resolutions for this year are:

Be the happy owner of a Dollfie Dream.
Design the official mascot for the site.
Be more proficient in japanese language.
As a personal goal, I want to learn to play guitar.
and finally I have 2 IT projects in mind I would like finally execute.

Anime in Review #5

There were a lot of anime shows I saw during the current year and its time for me to express my thoughts and feelings about them. Feel free to comment and discuss about them too in the comment area. There are also links to image galleries ahead.

Let's start with...

Sword Art Online

My favorite show of the year! No doubt why I put it in first place in my review. I still dont know if the show has two seasons or is just one season with 2 different stories, but I was very surprised how the first part of the show abruptaly ended. Kirito and Asuna makes the best couple ever! and the clothes they used in the game were awesome.

Dog Days 1 & 2

At beginning I thought Dog Days was a show meant for little girls and silly but I totally like all the female characters (great design) and how sweet they were with Shinku (the only male character with a lot of luck). My favorite girl was Millhiore. I think her voice was pleasant and kawaii for me.

Chuunibyou demo koi ga shitai

Sometimes we keep our crazy thoughts about life when we are at school and this show reminded me that. I liked the show and I knew from the beginning that Rikka was going to fall in love with Yuuta. I also found hillarious the fights between Rikka, her sister and Sanae.

Bakemonogatari

Loved the show. It was funny and with a lot of characters. My favorite was Shinobu, a young but mute vampire girl and Hachikuji who was lost all the time misspelling Araragi's name on purpose. Shinobu Oshino moe gallery here.

Another

Big deception for me. Good show, great theme and plot but bad develop and story telling. I dont want to spoil the show but dont you think Misaki could do more to prevent a lot of deaths if she just said who was the extra student from the beginning? why she was retaining it a lot? Ok, I just thought there will be more about her twisted eye and all the dolls in her house. Also there were a lot of side stories mentioned in the show but without a clear conection with the main story.

Fate/Zero

I liked Fate/Stay and I wanted more about Saber and this is exactly what I got with the show. Since is a prequel It helps you to understand more the events in Fate/Stay. I only dont see why the fight for the holy grail is again 10 years after the events of Fate/Zero but I liked the show. My favorite servant (besides Saber) was Rider. CardCaptor Sakura Illustration Artbook 1

As a big Card Captor fan, I recently got as a Christmas present, the CardCaptor Sakura Artbook 1 (カードキャプターさくらイラスト集). This artbook was released back in 1998 and contains original Clamp drawnings in 114 pages (90 in color).
