This year I spied two 'vintage' dresses (at least that's what they were called, their definition of vintage is questionable to say the least!) at the 59th Annual Emmy Awards. First, Rachel Griffiths of "Brothers and Sisters" wore a vintage, strapless Chanel gown with an asymmetrical hemline.

It was cute. Simple and elegant, but kinda missing that 'wow' factor.However, Rebecca Romijn more than made up for that with her stunning vintage white Guy Laroche flapper inspired gown. She was a stunner!

Why did Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen name their fashion label ”Elizabeth and James” anyway? I guess “Mary-Kate and Ashley” didn’t sound grown-up enough? Reminds me of “Elizabeth James” on the movie “Parent Trap“. Anyhoo, here are the twins (I have never been able to tell them apart) wearing some their own designer creations: Mary-Kate in a Lace Caftan Dress, and Ashley in a Parachute Dress, on sale at ShopBop.com, $262.50.
