Really, why was glitter invented? It infects carseats, carpet, and clothes. I can't stand the stuff peeling of my kids art projects and infesting everywhere.

And why give such a dangerous tool to young children carelessly wielding a bottle of glue like a wino with his brown sack covered bottle?

Throw out your Coach purse

If I see another Coach handbag, I will be sick. They are absolutely everywhere.

Now that conspicuous consumption is passe (thank goodness) a few simple purses have started to emerge. I have fallen in love with these from Medina Baskets. They are beautiful, practical, multipurpose bags made to help reduce the use of plastic bags. These could be used as an everyday bag, a market bag, beach bag, book bag...you get the picture.

Wouldn't this look great with a simple sundress and sandals. I know, I know...it is still Winter, but it never hurts to look ahead.

Hello. Did you have a nice weekend? Yeah, me too. Here are some things I enjoyed:

1. Listening to the OMFGG soundtrack makes me not feel so old.
2. Then I had to catch up on my missed episodes.

3.Homemade chicken soup with cilantro and lime

4. Shopping for espadrilles. I think I like these by Eric Michael. What do you think?

5. All the new spring accessories coming into Target. A white wicker cube jumped into my basket.

6. Clementine oranges

7. I'm in love with this straw French Market Basket. Perfect with a sundress. Also perfect with aforementioned espadrilles.

8. A trip to IKEA to pick up Euro sized pillows for my new vintage white pillowcovers.
