iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad users.

On the off chance your brain stops momentarily working and you go to the app store and consider buying that 'Pokémon Yellow' on there that's the second highest selling app, think twice. It doesn't work past the opening screen. Not to mention Nintendo would never license such a product to Apple or anyone else for distribution.

If you've already spent the 69p or so on it, you deserved to have your money taken.

Don't worry, I don't actually use it! I use firefox and chrome, but sometimes I need an extra browser, and all I have left is IE, and BOY is it rubbish! It's slow, it crashes all the time, I cant open more than 3 tabs without it going flaccid on me.

So, what other browsers are there out there? I dont really want to use Safari....

Damm computer

My computer is so slow. Ive had it since summer 2008, and at the time it was really good. I had it custom built with some of the best components on the market at that time. However, over the last 3 and a half years its got progessively worse. I've cleared it out a few times, done complete factory resets but still it's so slow.

Not to mention the battery has a lifespan of 3 minutes....

I'm gonna buy a new one, as I need something GOOD to work on this website on. Should I go MAC or PC?

I hate it when people try to tell you something, thinking they are right, or lie to you thinking you don't know that they are lying. They just make themselves sound like idiots! That's why I love winding people up, or calling their bluffs.

I saw this video the other day and it's EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Of course he's allowed to take photos of the building, there is no law telling him he cant. That dude/woman (I dont quite know...) was being a twat because they thought they could be. Such idiots!

One thing that really gets on my nerves is when someone walks into a room, walks back out again and leaves the door open when it was closed before they came in. I didn't want the door open so why leave it open? I am in the room and want the door shut (or at the very least, pulled to!)...can't you understand that? I was here first!

Being winter, it's even worse. I'll have the radiator or heater on and the room will be nice and toasty when suddenly...WHOOSH, big draught of cold air comes in and sucks out all the heat I'd spent some much time waiting for!

And don't get me started on dogs, dogs are the worst. They walk in and sit down and then YOU have to close the door behind them. Damn dogs.

I HATE it when people tag YOU in YOUR own pictures?! What's the point in that? They are already on my profile, why would I want them on there twice?

It annoys me when other people tag themselves in their own photos, but then that has nothing to do with me. But still, the whole point of tagging is to see who it is who is actually in the photo...and if you're looking at a photo of someone on their own profile, you dont need a link to who that person is!

If you get what I mean....

Facebook, you should disable own tagging in our photos. Instead of creating that stupid Timeline rubbish

Jump Cuts: ARGH!

To me, theres nothing worse on youtube (other than being rickrolled) Than trying to watch a video FILLED with stupid jump cuts.

IT REALLY ANNOYS ME!

It doesnt look cool and it messes with my head! There are lots of "youtubers" out there who use it, some more than others. I think the most annoying one has to be ShaneDawsonTV

This guy needs shooting.

So, if you plan on making a youtube video in the future, PLEASE do not put jump cuts in it.

One thing I really REALLY hate is when you are driving along at night, and the car behind you has a broken headlight. And because it is broken, they decide that putting the main beams on will fix it. ARGH! Bright lights hurt my eyes! Not even flicking the rear view mirror works, their lights illumiante the entire inside of my car and make it very distracting to drive.

Is there a Santa Claus? - a physicist view

Consider the following:
1) No known species of reindeer can fly. BUT there are 300,000 species of living organisms yet to be classified, and while most of these are insects and germs, this does not COMPLETELY rule out flying reindeer which only Santa has ever seen.

2) There are 2 billion children (persons under 18) in the world. BUT since Santa doesn't (appear) to handle the Muslim, Hindu, Jewish and Buddhist children, that reduces the workload to 15% of the total - 378 million according to Population Reference Bureau. At an average (census) rate of 3.5 children per household, that's 91.8 million homes. One presumes there's at least one good child in each.

3) Santa has 31 hours of Christmas to work with, thanks to the different time zones and the rotation of the earth, assuming he travels east to west (which seems logical).This works out to 822.6 visits per second. This is to say that for each Christian household with good children, Santa has 1/1000th of a second to park, hop out of the sleigh, jump down the chimney, fill the stockings, distribute the remaining presents under the tree, eat whatever snacks have been left, get back up the chimney, get back into the sleigh and move on to the next house.Assuming that each of these 91.8 million stops are evenly distributed around the earth (which, of course, we know to be false but for the purposes of our calculations we will accept), we are now talking about .78 miles per household, a total trip of 75-1/2 million miles, not counting stops to do what most of us must do at least once every 31 hours, plus feeding and etc. This means that Santa's sleigh is moving at 650 miles per second, 3,000 times the speed of sound. For purposes of comparison, the fastest man- made vehicle on earth, the Ulysses space probe, moves at a poky 27.4 miles per second - a conventional reindeer can run, tops, 15 miles per hour.

4) The payload on the sleigh adds another interesting element. Assuming that each child gets nothing more than a medium-sized lego set (2 pounds), the sleigh is carrying 321,300 tons, not counting Santa, who is invariably described as overweight. On land, conventional reindeer can pull no more than 300 pounds. Even granting that 'flying reindeer' (see point #1) could pull TEN TIMES the normal amount, we cannot do the job with eight, or even nine.We need 214,200 reindeer. This increases the payload - not even counting the weight of the sleigh - to 353,430 tons. Again, for comparison - this is four times the weight of the Queen Elizabeth.

5) 353,000 tons traveling at 650 miles per second creates enormous air resistance - this will heat the reindeer up in the same fashion as spacecraft re-entering the earth's atmosphere. The lead pair of reindeer will absorb 14.3 QUINTILLION joules of energy. Per second. Each.In short, they will burst into flame almost instantaneously, exposing the reindeer behind them, and create deafening sonic booms in their wake. The entire reindeer team will be vaporized within 4.26 thousandths of a second. Santa, meanwhile, will be subjected to centrifugal forces 17,500.06 times greater than gravity. A 250-pound Santa (which seems ludicrously slim) would be pinned to the back of his sleigh by 4,315,015 pounds of force.

So I had a parcel delivered to me at work today with a load of poster in.....but the idiots at the sorting office had squashed it and damaged the ends of all the posters....meaning I couldn't have put them up because they looked appalling. What a waste of money having them printed.

The Turkey Was Well & Truely Stuffed

So I am currently VERY annoyed.

My band, (The UK Pink Floyd Tribute Show) were meant to be flying out to Istanbul in Turkey last Friday for a Christmas mini-tour. We all had our bags packed, our VISAs had been sorted, and some of us had even taken out insurance on our health and instruments, when we get an email saying this:

"Hi guys, we decided to wait until the last minute to book your flights from the UK to Turkey in an attempt to save some money. However when we went to book them this morning there were no avaliable seats left on any flights"

ARGH!

As you can imagine, we were not too impressed!

And then to top it off they issued a statement on their website saying that WE cancelled on them because one of us didnt get our passports sorted in time....LIES!

The annoying thing is that because it is out of the UK, the musicians union can't do anything about it, and we cant even demand compensation. We were all down quite a bit of money after the weekend. Our drummer had to book a baby-sitter, and I had to take 4 days unpaid holiday.

Anyway, they have asked to have us at the end of January. We have agreed to go.....but we have increased our fee! Plus they have agreed to pay us 2 weeks before we even leave the country.

So hopefully things are looking up.

Giving change

Ok, this thing REALLY gets on my nerves.

When I buy something and pay in cash, say a bottle of cider (mmm cider) for £2.04 and I have to use a £10 note, the cashier often gives me the change in this order:

£5 note
loose change

So that the coins are sliding about on top of the paper note! It makes so much more sense to give me the coins in my hand and then let me grab the note with my fingers! Surely they would want it that way too? Are people always this stupid? It's not the end of the world, but it sure is annoying!

Anyone else have this problem?
