Katelyn and Sean’s wedding flowers colors included a palette of ivory, blush, and soft pinks. They wished to describe their wedding as Parisan with a touch of chic yet vintage flare. The bride’s hand tied bouquet  included fully bloomed roses, peonies, and lemon leaf. A thin layer of ivory lace ribbon surrounded the stems for an elegant handle.

Anthony Gowder Designs had the unique pleasure of designing multiple tabletops at The Special Event Wedding Event 2013 and showcasing the top trends in the wedding and event industry. We designed nine different looks in the ballroom of the Chicago Marriott. More than 700 wedding and event professionals were in attendance.

Arguably our most grandiose centerpiece for this event… Fantasy-sized, gilded punch bowls were overstuffed with mounds of hydrangea, full-bloomed roses, and cymbidium orchids. The styling of the centerpiece led us to design a heavily textured table top. A modern, sparkly charger, a vintage linen and overlay (both from BBJ Linens) served as a foundation for this table. Sevre Blue China and Mother of Pearl flatware gave an eclectic dimension to these settings (provided by Halls Rental). Leafy/feathery chair caps which adorned our Chameleon chairs (from Classic Party Rentals-Chicago), punctuated these tables with a lively festivity.

Anthony Gowder Designs had the unique pleasure of designing multiple tabletops at The Special Event Wedding Event 2013 and showcasing the top trends in the wedding and event industry. We designed nine different looks in the ballroom of the Chicago Marriott. More than 700 wedding and event professionals were in attendance.

Every table begins with a good foundation, “Pink Lamour” cloths with a “Blush Ambiance Sheer” overlays  were augmented with “Luxe Fuschia” chargers (all provided by BBJ Linen). Silver candelabra and glass and silver cake plates were the inspiration for this centerpiece collection. A trio of sumptuous floral cakes (one which was covered by a cloche) served as a focal point for the tabletop. Simple traditional flowers were used to create these floral cakes; gerber daisies, white carnations  and white hydrangea. Cut crystal wine goblets held votive candles and were artistically scattered across the linen.  Finally, our Chameleon Chairs were extravagantly covered with pink sequined chair covers (provided by Classic Party Rentals). Quilted chairs surrounded a silver tabletop. Large black pilsner glasses served as the elevation for our centerpieces. They featured white anthurium, dendrobium orchids and spray roses bound together by a gaggle of silver wire. A pair of slender silver urns supported an amalgamation of florals, aluminum wire and glittered netting. Green hydrangea, hanging amaranthus, lavender roses and orchids were the perfect materials for this combination. Finally, quilted metallic cylinders crowned with florals added detail to the table.
