Where do i begin?

At the Beginning!

The beginning is just a cycle of a End, another loop on top of the previous spiral.

Time loops upon itself as a tightly packed spiral, much like a slinky or spring.

When we say we’ve reached a ‘New’ level, i imagine it’s just that we’ve come around, full circle, and we’re directly on top of where we were, but we’ve ‘moved on’.

This is probably the best way i can find to describe where i am at the moment.

2010 is a Personal Year Number 1 for me. In numerology circles that represents a new beginning. Last year was a Number 9 Personal year, which involved letting go of a lot of things. The actual switch over occurred on my Birthday – March 22nd, and right now, just over a week later, i do feel as if i’m heading for new tracks.

Since moving back to Canberra just under a year ago, i’ve had a chance to revisit a lot of ‘old stuff’ i faced last time i lived here. I never imagined i would move back here, but alas this is how things have worked out. It’s funny, i have been tempted and faced with challenges that i didn’t ‘pass’ last time i lived here, however this time it’s been a no-brainer. That doesn’t mean i didn’t make mistakes, but it does mean i learnt, first time!

Things have been really good for me this time around. I’ve made some great friends, and have my own place. My business is flourishing, beyond anything i ever expected. I have freedom to do what i want, to work from home, when i want. I can come and go as i please.

For the past year, i’ve spend a good deal of every single day working on building my online businesses up. It’s become an obsession that i find difficult to let go of. In a way, it’s my ‘Baby’ and i care for it very much. Being self reliant, my own employer, and having employees brings about a responsibility to make sure everything is going right, smooth, and as best as it can. But there is a trick to running one’s own business, and especially if it’s from home. That trick, is balance.

I’m getting better at it. I now close the office door at night, switch off my computers, and that’s that. Most of the time I still have my iPhone which i occasionally check to see if i have any important emails. It’s a process i’m still learning, improving, and perfecting. Yep, i’m perfecting the art of not working. You heard it first, here

For the past two months i’ve felt a oncoming future that is very much different from my past. I can ‘feel’ timelines, and it’s a perception similar to one of visual colors and feelings. As i visualize my ‘timeline’ i can see different events occuring in the future. I know, it sounds far fetched, but this is just the beginning of the way i see things. I dream about people i haven’t seen in years, and they contact me the next day. I have co-incidences happen to me on such a regular basis that i don’t find it all that amazing anymore. Wierd shit happens, but it’s something i’m used to. I also believe this happens to other people, and it’s more a question of if they are open to perceiving it. Reality has this habit of forming what we expect, so perception is half the equation of manifestation.

Back to to the timeline… As i was saying, this timeline is much more colourful, different, intense and chaotic, in a beautiful way. I know that a lot of ‘stuff’ is going to happen, but without meaning to sound like some vague psychic, i cant’ say exactly what all this ‘stuff is’. I just know it’s there, it’s coming, and it’s different. Bring it on!

Soon my lease ends on my current place, and i’ll be looking for a house for myself. I want a room for my office, a bedroom, and another space for music making. Music is my future. It’s something that calls me, and i’ve been ignoring it. A few weeks ago i spent three thousand on a new electric guitar and tube amp, and recording software. I’m gearing up… Just today i was playing around with my acoustic maton steelstring plugged into this gorgeous tube amp. A new style is being born from learning technique on electric and then bringing that over to the powerful and emotive sounds a acoustic guitar can make. It’s exciting and i love giving into where ever the muse wants to take me.

New times are a coming. It’s inevitable, undeniable and completely intangible. But, in all honesty, i don’t think i’d have it any other way. Life is a freaking mystery, a road full of bends, hazards, wonders and surprises. I’m all fueled up and have got some tunes ready to crank out of the car stereo, it’s just a question of how fast i choose to drive

Everyone has a look, which conveys to me a feeling.

Just by looking I can feel a person.I think it’s a subtle body language thing.

A lot of people are closed and shut off from parts of their selves.

You can see it.

A girl walked by, looking strong and collected. But I felt this was an armor, a over compensation to look strong, to hide her vulnerability. It’s not what she is showing, nor what she is hiding, because it’s all still inside her.

It’s about balance and allowing all aspects of the emotional self to have a space to exist.

People that stand out are comfortable with themselves. They are able to be without fighting an urge of something not to be. There is nothing more beautiful in seeing a person then watching them just be, naturally, in whatever pure emotional state they are. It’s not something u can aim for, because it’s born within us and alive. If we let go, and allow, and sit with ourselves, then we are as we are.

Nothing to be, nothing to become, and total freedom.

Hey Folks,

Well it’s been a while since i last blogged on here. I did some maintenance on my Blog and it promptly disappeared, so after some piss farting around ,here’s my new design. Looks pretty spiffy huh?

Speaking of redesigns, i’ve been spending the past week or two getting my shopping comparison sites designed. One particular design i was really happy with is my Musical Instruments site. Designed to help Musicians find acoustic & electric guitars, keyboards, and other Musicians gear on eBay. Look at the red and black, it’s sexy! Thanks to Nick from Smarter Web Design in the UK for the style!

More to come… soon… stay tuned!

Anthony.

Self Care Is Premium…

Taking time out everyday, to create a safe space where the self is nurtured and contained, acknowledged, encouraged, given space to simply be, without any external distraction.

This time, pulling on a sheer force of introspection gathers up the unresolved issues, dreams, thoughts, ideals, desires, emotions & sensation from dream-state & reorganizes them into a nice, organized box, ready to be opened before sleep time comes again.

If one connects inward, primarily to re-connect back to one’s source of internal nourishment & power, it reduces the need for external validation…

Other people sense this, and they will feel your self complete, and not needing anything. Free of agenda or some strange need to for fill a internal connection via external validation.

After all… all anyone can do is help us get back to who we really are, in other words, we asking someone to hold up a road sign that points right back at us.

It’s interesting why this occurs…

We are entrained in school & as young humans that we need acknowledgment in order to make an inner connection with our own personal power.

Unconsciously we make the external our virtual ‘middle man’, rendering ourselves missing a piece of the puzzle that we have all along. We hide his piece of the puzzler away from ourselves & then pretend we don’t know where it is, wondering around asking people if they have the missing piece, until someone kind enough reaches into ourselves & reminds us of it’s vicinity.

We have it all along. We need to reconnect, to our inner selves, for our greatest source of power.

DAY BY DAY -- Acoustic Song Written Tuesday 25th of November, 2008.

How This Song Came About:

Songs come to me… usually in a preformed, and slightly unevolved way. The unconscious delivers it via the present moment.

In this case, i simply came up with the tune on the guitar, and started singing. Using my trusty digital stereo recorder, i set down the basic melody, singing along with the guitar. The words came out a jumble, like a sleepy murmurs from a half dream like state. I then go back and try to make sence of what’s coming out, much like trying to understand someone on a dodgy telephone connection.

The original lyrics were interesting… in the third verse after the chorus, i could hear what appeared to be ‘striking down like lightning, past mumbai and to berlin, papa says the bad boys are back in town…’. This didn’t make much sense to me, so i changed the last part to ‘Holidays won’t be the same again.’ Two days later the Bombings happened in Mumbai, which makes me wonder… freaky.

Equipment:

i’m playing on my trusty Australian Maton Guitar, the EM525C Steel String Acoustic Cut-Away. Audio was recorded via a Rode NT2A Mic, interfaced into my Apple Macbook Pro via the beautiful Apogee Duet Firewire Audio interface. The video was recorded via the iSight camera built into the Macbook.

Lyrics

V1 : I don’t know where i’m going.

Just know where i’ve been.

Going to take this day by day.

v2: It’s been so long since i saw you

Don’t know how i got thru

Gonna take a bit more time.

CH: Because time… it breaks me

in two.

and time, it makes me

. . . . remember you.

V3: Striking down like lightning

Past Mumbai & to Berlin

Holidays won’t be the same

v4: On & On in need of love

Longing in the land above

Just can’t seem to find the words

Repeat CH:

Repeat V1:

End.
