AntiGravity has a strong background in television appearances, providing stunts and choreography on everything from awards shows, to movies and more. When Victoria’s Secret wanted to add captivating acrobatics to the dynamic of their fashion show, AntiGravity’s combination of artists and athletes offered the perfect solution.

Led by company founder and choreographer Chris Harrison, AntiGravity provided stunts, acrobatics and other aerial acts throughout the fashion show. Harrison, along with the other great choreographers and artists of AntiGravity, put weeks of planning, training, sound checks and rehearsal time to prepare a performance to captivate the national television audience.

A Soaring Introduction

After all the practice and preparation, AntiGravity took the stage with super model Adriana Lima, who served as the ringmaster for the circus-themed, high energy opening of the fashion show. AntiGravity artists provided the perfect feats and stunts to take this opening to the next level, with stilt dancing, hand balancing, cyr wheel performances and more. AntiGravity’s artists, contortionists and dancers soared above the stage for a show intro that had the crowd on their feet right from the beginning.

Shining Bright

Following the Pop Circus opening, AntiGravity artists teamed up with Rihanna, accompanying her as she had the crowd singing along to two songs off her chart-topping new album. As Rihanna performed “Diamonds” and “Phresh Out the Runway,” AntiGravity can be seen throughout the stage, soaring above the singer using their famous silk hammocks, lyra and straps with choreographed aerials that perfectly complemented the music.

Many of the same stunts and athletes that kept entertaining the crowd at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show are a part of our AntiGravity Orlando performance. We are pleased to announce our branch of unique acrobatics, fitness and aerial arts classes for local residents to get healthy and have high-flying fun at its National Training Center in
Orlando.

Visitors can enjoy a complete departure from an ordinary fitness experience with over 30 courses taught at the new training center. From aerials and bungee training to trampoline, ballet, yoga, harness work and more, there is no other place in Central Florida to get in shape the way you can at the AntiGravity National Training Facility.

The expansion at AntiGravity’s National Training Facility highlights their status as home to one of the most unique fitness centers in Central Florida. Classes are separated into three distinct categories, including aerial technique, extreme acrobatics, and fitness fundamentals. Each category gives you at least 10 different classes from experienced trainers and performers specific to each discipline.

Classes are offered for beginners, all the way up to advanced training for the more experienced. AntiGravity’s courses in aerial technique, extreme acrobatics, as well as fitness and fundamentals are available for single attendance or class packages and student packages, offering attendees complete value options in their exercise and training routines.

The AntiGravity Orlando staff is comprised of world class trainers in a variety of different disciplines. Students and other participants will learn from skilled experts in dance, acrobatics, gymnastics and more from all over the world. These performers have made appearances on numerous award shows, the Olympics, many movies and television shows.

Awards Show-stoppers

AntiGravity has been thrilled to work with many of the most popular music artists in the world, providing their sounds with thrilling backdrops, extreme acrobatics and visually stimulating choreography. One of our highlights includes working in Pink’s show-stopping number at the 2010 Grammy Awards, where she captivated audiences. Pink used an AntiGravity sling and performers to complete a high-wire act all while singing and using choreography from one of our directors in what was easily one of the most memorable Grammy performances of all time.

Another one of our major acts was alongside P Diddy and Usher at the MTV Video Music Awards, where some of our talented artists provided high flying aerials and choreography to energize the crowd.

In addition to working with Pink and P Diddy, our high flying stunts have made their way into performances for nearly all of the major awards shows in the past decade, including the Academy Awards, the Grammys, the Latin Music Awards, the BET Awards and the Billboard Awards, among others. Over the years, we’ve worked with artists such as Kanye West, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, No Doubt and many more to give their music an unmatched visual accompany.

 Memorable On-Screen Moments

Aside from performing with music artists, AntiGravity has also provided memorable choreography for movies, shows and television specials. In 2007’s Enchanted, we worked on choreography, dancing and stunts in one of the film’s unforgettable scenes, as Amy Adams’ performance of “That’s How You Know.” Some of the world’s biggest platforms of performances have had AntiGravity take part in the lineup, including the Olympics and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Stover rigged a creative new act for the movie, in which dancers perform choreography while vertically scaling a wall using bungees. The lead dancers were trained to perform this ‘Bungee Wall’ act here in our Orlando training facility and Stover assisted in the filming for this stunt on set in Miami.

The exciting ‘Trampoline Wall’ act will also be featured in the movie, in which AntiGravity athletes perform stunning acrobatic tricks in midair while bouncing off trampolines. The group’s AntiGravity Boots also make an appearance, as actors perform amazing tumbling feats among the elite mix of talented dancers.

This all-new daily parade featured beautiful custom-made floats, state-of-the-art technology and hundreds of energetic dancers, musicians and street performers from all around. Guests can sing and dance along with characters from Despicable Me, Hop, Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants.
