Right now, I am working on a short ebook (what are those called? Reports? Guides? Handy PDF thingies?) called Geek Advice: How to Transfer Your Precious Website to A New Webhost Without Losing Anything (Including Your Mind).

Before I’m done writing it, is there anything you, my awesome readers, owners of many precious websites, would dearly like to have explained? Don’t be afraid – ask the Geek! Leave me a comment about it – or email me, if you are embarrassed about your question, although really you shouldn’t be. After all, I geek so you don’t HAVE to.

BUT! Before I do, let me just clue you in on why it’s been so quiet here for a few weeks, using a few well-chosen (and poorly grammar-ed) bullet points:

• Very hot outside too hot to play kids need things to do indoors OMG LOUD
• Baby rolling over when supposed to be napping not much sleeping ARG
• Birthday for oldest son coming up trying to plan awesome party on shoestring budget arg STRESSFUL
• Stress plus not enough water intake equals huge back pain multiplied by unrestful sleep WHINE ZZZZ
• Regular school ended summer school started to prepare daughter for 5th grade OMG MATH

So, keep in mind that my brain is swimming in a cocktail of caffeine and muscle relaxers (the legal kind, of course), but here is where I GET SERIOUS:

I am sure we can all agree on these:

The economy currently sucks, right?

Lots of us are losing, or have already lost, jobs and/or income, right?

Plenty of you are either thinking of starting your own business, or already have, right?

Theoretically speaking, you would want your new, small-yet-awesome business to LOOK awesome with the least amount of money spent, right? (Because none of us have buckets of money stashed away in the basement, yes?)

Why would you go somewhere else when you already know ME?

No, seriously! Did you know that I make logos? Really nice, really personalized, really AWESOME logos?

Did you know that I make websites from scratch? And that I can set up a Wordpress website for you?

Did you know that I can help you move from Blogger to Wordpress and not lose any of your content?

Did you know that I would rather work for people who already know me? I WOULD. :) Because I love all of you, and it would give me no greater joy than to help you make your small business the most AWESOME small business EVAR.

So, I am completely serious here. You need to hire me.

And if you can’t hire me yet, you need to talk to me about it. Who knows, you might be able to afford me and you will NEVER KNOW unless you TRY.
