Why they hacked government sites?

It's a question for me why they hacker targeting gov sites? there must be a reason behind these hacking. what gov had done recently that makes this hacker make a move. If they really that black hat that aim for money why they left such a big sign of hack. lol maybe this hack happen because of a protest to the gov or whatsoever..

Another one, recently a letter by SKMM (Suruhanjaya Komunikasi & Multimedia Malaysia) to all the ISPs ( Internet service provider ) to blocked some of file hosting sites that happen to be blocked by the time i write this post~

it's a sad thing they block
megauploada and fileserve..

maybe next they will target rapidshare and hotfile who knows :P

maybe this could be the reason of the hack lol

it's been such a long time since i made an update to this blog.. since i'm free i decided to make a change to the template using google premade theme.. the new feature that google implement is viewing in mobile version.. a simplified version and easy to navigate using mobile web browser.. if u are using iphone, android or even blackberry check it out..

After i posted about maybank2u.com downtime early this week i received a mail telling me to update my account meaning to change my password and so on la.. :D

be careful not to click any link and login using your bank username and password

your money could be gone someday without u even noticing it..

Hari ini sebenarnya aku takdelah nak buat review apa-apa software sebab memang aku dah lama tak update software2 list aku. Maybe akan datang aku nak start balik buat review untuk penuhkan blog ni yang tak seberapa sejak 2 menjak ni.. Sori la sebab hari ini aku takde mood nk tulis elok-elok dengan bahasa campur2 a.k.a rojak pasembor ni~

Takpe la tak penting pun.. pasni bookmark la blog ni kalau korang rasa best aku tulis.. huhu.. kalau x best pun boleh komen.. aku terima je komen membina dari kawan2 dan musuh2 semua huhu (harap2 takde sape la nak bermusuh ngan aku) :D

unifi : jalur lebar berkelajuan tinggi TM

Salam semua...

baru-baru ini TM melancarkan unifi satu produk jalur lebar berkelajuan tinggi komersil secara besar-besaran. Sebelum ini hanya segelintir sahaja yang pernah merasa kelajuan internet "fibre optik" di pejabat-pejabat namun kini anda boleh menikmati jalur lebar sehingga 20MB/s di rumah anda.

Namun belum sempat TM mempromosikan produk ini secara meluas ramai sudah komen negatif mengenainya. Ramai yang tidak setuju dengan harga RM 249/bulan bagi kelajuan 20mbps dan membanding2kan dengan negara lain.. Saya kurang setuju membandingkan negara lain yang telah mempunyai infrastruktur "fibre optic" yang lebih lengkap dan saingan sihat di negara maju menyebabkan harga jalur lebar dapat dikurangkan..

Jadi kepada rakyat Malaysia jika anda rasa produk ini terlalu mahal tidak perlulah anda langgan boikot la sehingga harga turun :p.

Namun satu lagi isu yang dibangkitkan pengehadan penggunaan bandwidth 90GB sebulan adalah kurang sesuai. Apabila kelajuan internet semakin laju pemindahan data akan lebih banyak jadi TM perlu mengkaji semula pengehadan bandwidth ini di dalam produk ini.

Buat masa sekarang kita tidak banyak pilihan jalur lebar dan hanya dapat melihat TM memonopoli perniagaan ini. Jadi doalah syarikat lain dapat memberi persaingan sihat dalam pembangunan jalur lebar di negara ini.

Software Review : Google Chrome

Salam semua,

Bulan ni genaplah setahun usia Google Chrome. Baru setahun Chrome sekarang dah sampai ke versi 4 beta. Apa yang menarik pasal Chrome ni sebenarnya?. Itu la yang kita nak bincangkan.

Chrome merupakan pelayar(browser) sumber terbuka(open source) yang dibina Google bagi memenuhi kehendak standard Web 2.0 dan aplikasi internet yang semakin kompleks.

Google nampak pelayan web mungkin akan menggantikan OS (sistem operasi) yang ada kat dunia ni. Kira kalau betul la, Microsoft Windows dah tak boleh cari makan la lepas ni haha..

Simple, Laju, Stabil

Apa yang best pasal Google Chrome ni ialah pelayan ni memang ternyata laju terutama dalam memproses javascript. Boleh cari kat google pasal perbandingan kelajuan pelayan internet moden.

Grafik antara muka pengguna (Graphical User interface - GUI) Chrome memang simple dengan menampilkan hanya tab dan address bar je. Itu je pun yang penting nak surf internet kan.

Walaupun Chrome dikeluarkan dalam bentuk beta, namun susah nak cari pepijat (bug) / masalah bila menggunakan pelayan ni. So boleh dikatan stable la kan. Satu lagi, web rendering Chrome memang ternyata kemas. Kebanyakan render chrome lebih baik daripada Internet Explorer dan Mozilla Firefox baik dari segi css ataupun skrip lain-lain di internet.

Chrome menggunakan teknologi di mana ia mengasingkan setiap tab dengan kawalan memori sendiri di mana kalau ada masalah loading atau error dalam satu tab ia tak akan menggangu tab lain. Ini menunjukkan tahap kestabilan sebenar pelayan moden sebenar :-D.

Apa yang tak best pulak?

Mana ada pelayan web yang sempurna kan. So kat sini aku nak tunjuk kelemahan Chrome pulak. GUI yang terlalu simple tak banyak plug-in atau tambahan kepada feature asas Chrome. Berbanding dengan Mozilla Firefox yang memang terkenal dengan beribu-ribu add-on/plugin memang Chrome tak boleh nak lawan la. Mungkin satu hari nanti Chrome boleh berkongsi plugin .xpi yang digunakan oleh Firefox.

Memori management yang berasingan bagi setiap tab menyebabkan Chrome menggunakan memori yang banyak semasa surfing tapi setakat ni tak ada masalah pasal memori yang memyebakan browsing slow.

Saiz installer Chrome agak besar kalau nak dibandingkan dengan ke-simplelan browser ni. Tapi dengan sambungan broadband di zaman sekarang ni bukanlah masalah besar untuk download Chrome. :-p

Konklusi

So menarik jugak kan Google Chrome ni. Apa kata jom try browser ni pulak. Yang masih gunakan Internet Exploror (IE) tu apa kata cuba kelainan open source pulak.

Secara umumnya, Google Chrome sesuai untuk kegunaan surfing di era moden ni. tapi bagi orang yang menggunakan internet secara maksimun cuba Firefox dengan add-ons yang gempak!

Virus protection experts explain the risks entailed in using Facebook widgets and offer tips to help users protect their privacy

Tettnang, 4 August 2009 – All Facebook users are familiar by now with the applications that encourage them to take part in games or quizzes. However, these applications can harm users, according to security specialists from Avira.

The harmful applications are cleverly disguised advertising banners that perfectly mimic the appearance and function of the familiar and ever-changing Facebook applications (widgets). If a web surfer clicks one of these, rather than being taken to a trustworthy Facebook application, he will find himself diverted to another server on the Internet without even noticing. The fake widgets are so cleverly programmed and designed that the user’s suspicions are not aroused as he uses them. At the end of the activity, the fraudulent web application will ask for additional information, such as a mobile phone number, to deliver the result of the game. However, the text message sent will prove expensive, because it is the confirmation that the user has agreed to a subscription with the fraudsters. The details are usually only found in the small print, which is easy to overlook: the damage can reach considerable amounts of money, which are debited with the next phone bill.

The risk of giving away too much personal information exists with every application on offer within the social web. Anyone using Facebook applications should only install those from a trusted source and should think carefully about the data they reveal on the platform. It takes just a few easy setting changes to secure your privacy. The right checkmarks can be set in Facebook under Settings/ Privacy Settings. The safest approach is to set all the fields in your Profile to “Only Friends”. Remember that here too, not every person behind a friendship invitation is a real friend.

It is also possible to change the settings for advertisements. The Facebook Ads tab can be found under Settings/ Privacy Settings/ News Feed and Wall. Here, you should select “No One” in the box. It is also possible to set the access rights for the applications: Individual rights can be assigned for all applications under Settings/ Application Settings / Edit Settings. Here it is also advisable to at least set the settings for your private domain to “Only Friends” and to take a close look at the settings for additional approvals.
