Here's my story:

Ever since I was a kid I always wanted to make things neat and organized. Most of the time, our living room always ends up turn upside down because I keep moving the furnitures to create a different look.

When I was in high school I hang out with friends that always wants to create something. So the more I get older my desire for designing keeps growing.

College came and I wanted to take up Interior Designing as my degree but it wasn't offered on the school where I got a scholarship. So I told my mom maybe I can take up architecture instead. But the course was offered to a little bit farther school and somewhat expensive one. My father suggested I Civil Engineering but my heart was not into it.

So I ender up taking computer science but not really focusing into a specialty, but it was the start. So now that I actually have a chance to create designs not just for myself but for other people as well.

And now I meet a couple of people that are really good with this craft. And I bet they have some stories to tell before they were able to start creating beautiful designs.

So I would like to find out the story behind those creative designs.

Memory Walk : Join Us!!

The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk® will be holding the a walk to create awareness and generate funds for the support, care and research for Alzheimer. Walks will be held in more than 600 communities and it will last for a 2-3 mile walk.

If you would like to be a team captain and organize an Alzheimer's Memory Walk you can head out to their site for more information in organizing.

I remember back when I was in the Philippines I was involved in an organization that serves the community. It started back when I was in college. And for most part we team up with the Youth Club in the community to create awareness on anything that needs attention in the community. And one of the activity that we did was a hiking on one of the mountain called Mt. Arayat and it was the most amazing feeling after we got to our destination. Climbing that mountain was a tough one because there's only a few of us that are into hiking and most of us will be the first time to climb a mountain. But it was worth it.

And with this walk for a cause it will be something that will be worth it. Not only that you can create awareness in the community, you can also benefit from it by getting plenty of exercise.

So take those running shoes, let your community know and start the walk.

Get Ready To Bust Your Moves

Back in the days of my high school I have some close friends that are really good dancers. They can pick up the dance move just seeing it one time. Yup! One time. They are that good. Unfortunately, I don't have that so called talent when it comes to dancing. I can pick up the moves maybe after 10-20 times practice or maybe more.

But they have the patience to teach me so we were so called the dancers of the class. Then when we went to college they became members of the hottest dance club in the university and as for me, it was not meant to be. I love to dance, don't get me wrong but I guess it's just not for me. And so of course whenever there's a program in the university expect that they will be performing and flashing those fancy UFO pants that they use as costumes. They make the dancers looks like they can really dance but of course for my friends they can really bust some moves.

A New Design For My Blog

If you are a frequent dropper over here, you must have noticed the new look of my blog, if you are new here then I just gave my blog a makeover. Green is always my favorite color and when I saw it together with dark brown, I just fell in love with it. Then there's also the teal color..

This evening, is the year's most exciting live international television events, a star-studded panel of judges chose Miss Venezuela, Dayana Mendoza, as MISS UNIVERSE(R) 2008 live from the Crown Convention Center in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa, Vietnam.

Dayana is 22 years-old and whose ambition is to become an Interior Designer. She also enjoys photography and is interested in advertising.

The judging panel for the 2008 Miss Universe Pageant included: Donald Trump Jr., Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization; fashion designer and entrepreneur Roberto Cavalli; Nadine Velazquez, international cover girl and star of NBC's "My Name Is Earl"; Jennifer Hawkins, television presenter and Miss Universe 2004; Louis Licari, celebrity colorist and "Today Show" ambush makeover expert; Joe Cinque, President of the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences; Bollywood film & TV star, dancer, model Eesha Koppikhar; Nguyen Cong Khe, Editor in Chief of Thanh Nien newspaper and international shoe designer Taryn Rose. Jerry Springer and Mel B hosted the telecast of the 57th Annual Miss Universe competition where Lady GaGa performed her hit "Just Dance".

Throughout the show, the contestants from 80 countries and territories around the world competed in three categories: swimsuit, evening gown and personality interview.

Final Results:

First Runner Up: Miss Colombia, Taliana Vargas; will assume the duties of MISS UNIVERSE 2008 if the titleholder for some reason cannot fulfill her responsibilities.

Second Runner Up: Miss Dominican Republic, Marianne Cruz Gonzalez.

Rest of Top Five: Miss Mexico, Elisa Najera; and Miss Russia, Vera Krasova.

Rest of Top Ten: Miss Kosovo, Zana Krasniqi; Miss Australia, Laura Dundovic; Miss Spain, Claudia Moro; Miss USA, Crystle Stewart; and Miss Italy, Claudia Ferraris.

No Exercise

Being a stay at home mom is not so bad, the only issue that goes with it. It's either I am always sitting down watching TV and being a couch potato or sitting in front of the computer blogging. So I don't really have any exercise in order to lose the remaining weight I have gained when I was pregnant. And believe me, it is so difficult to lose the weight once you gain it. So I have been looking around for some weight loss pills online just to give me an idea on what is the best that I can take, if I do decide to use one.
