Religious hatred? Would Jesus lend his crucifix and/or His Church for the cause of justice? For peace? Linda Zadoian once again explores dimensions of faith, spirituality and Armodoxy in a dialogue with Fr. Vazken Movsesian. Among topics - Was St. Mary the first feminist? Discovering St. Mary's rebellion in her acceptance of God's invitation. What is the focus of our anger? At God? At religion? Courage and Faith - working hand-in-hand. Believing in yourself to have the Courage to believe in God. And of course, the topic of the week: "legitimate rape" brought to you by the politicians themselves.
Can a church have a spiritual and national mission? A bridge is forming across our fears of what has never been before. The discussions are picking up momentum as a series of events and discoveries are unfolding. A journey starts out on the streets which is sparked by everything from WINDOW articles, to the Williams Bay Manifesto to A Call to Excellence to Vahe Oshagan, Krikor Beledian and a near extinct language. Bridges are being built and dots are being connected. The sweetness is in the journey and the process has becomes our means of survival. Plus, critical bodies and the 10 year theory.
• What can happen when the foreign concept of “bridge” enters our vocabulary describing the working of the Church?
• Are we marginalizing the Church or making it relevant?
• Can we change the concept of religiosity from freakishness to action?
• Why do politics always win out over the spiritual?
• What happens when community is taken out of the church and God is only wound-up on Sundays?
• Reverend Father Gomidas. How do clergy of the Armenian Church become national figures?
• Is incense the laughing gas of the church?

The bottom line of this episode: The leadership has accepted the marginalization of the church while the people are looking for “the bridge.” Plus we get a glimpse of the beginning of incubation of the Armenian Church. Gestation period begins – is Armodoxy the product of in vitro fertilization?
"Men go wild in the Armenian Church" as Fr. Vazken joins Linda in focusing on the dishonest steward - the guy who rips off his boss twice, only to be commended and pointed to by Christ. Discussion topics include the disenfranchised members of the community, life cycles and returning to the church, stadium/mega churches, stewardship, shrewdness vs. the rascal, business and religion and the ultimate question: is there "clean" money? Down to earth conversation - and the compass points the way.
Is there room in our lives to get our soul as squeaky clean as our hair, hands, windows and sheets? We spend billions of dollars on suds yet neglect cleansing our spirits. Plus, some Noah’s Ark wisdom, shared by a listener is bounced around as the Compass examines the Bible as spiritual media. Be prepared to listen in on some fresh new dialogue, guaranteed to get the dirt out.
