State police in Wuhan, China, seized two warehouses full of gas stoves stamped with Apple’s iPhone brand after discovering that the stoves weren’t geniune Apple products.

In addition to the obvious trademark issue, the 681 confiscated stoves also didn’t have proper protection against flame-outs, Chinese tech blog M.I.C. Gadget reports. What many of them did have, though, was a compliance sticker reading “Apple China Limited.”

The cleavage between Catholics & Protestants in Northern Ireland is important to know. U2's standard "Sunday Bloody Sunday" refers to the violence between both sides. The Catholics have a terror organization called the IRA (Irish Republican Army) and the Protestants have theirs (the Orange Order).

Should Northern Ireland (Ulster) which is predominantly Protestant remain in the UK or should it be absorbed into the Republic of Eire? Both sides have been willing to shed blood to reach their goal.

Look at my one sheet summary of "The Troubles" as they are called in Northern Ireland and watch this amazing performance from their 1980s concert film "Rattle & Hum."

U2 asks "how long" they must sing this song. At their TCF Bank concert last summer they used the song to refer to violence during the Arab Spring in the Middle East. It appears they have to continue to sing.

2. Take the "What do CompGov MCQs Look Like" Quiz @ Moodle. I want to expose you to real AP questions. They're going to be hard...the good news is they'll be easy by the AP Exam.

3. Find news sources for your CompGov Country. If you're in the first week of briefings, you could start your briefing. The rest of you should just be finding good news sources. Yahoo! Headlines won't cut it. Avoid stories that involve the US because they are typically about the US and not about the country you're supposed to be teaching us about. Be ready to tell me how awesome the Economist is on Monday.
