International Study Tour to Malaysia

MBA (International Business) students went to Malaysia on their International study tour as a part of their course curriculum. The international study tour provides the opportunity for the students to work on live case studies and enhance their learning experience about international business by interacting with international business teams of the chosen organization. The students were overwhelmed with the learning and the exposure gained through the international study tour. They had a good exposure of the education industry of Malaysia & got an insight as to how UCTI, the leading higher education provider in Malaysia is able to attract students from almost 93 countries. The students were also learned about the hospitality industry of Malaysia and visited important places in Kuala Lumpur. The study tour was organized from 4^th February 2012 to 11^th February 2012.

APIITians Visit at INFOSYS Chandigarh

On March 10, 2012 the students of APIIT SD INDIA got the golden opportunity to visit the Infosys campus in Chandigarh. A team of 150 students of B.E. (Hons.) of APIIT SD INDIA, Panipat returned from Infosys, Chandigarh after Industrial visit. This program has been designed specially to create global human resources capable of handling job positions demanding internationally acclaimed skills. The visit was a part of the international exposure requirement of the academic curriculum of the program. International Exposure to countries emerging as economic powerhouses adds tremendously to the understanding of business fundamentals of the students.
Their visit began with the tour of Infosys campus where they were warmly welcomed by the Infosys personnel. After the quick tour of the campus, they were taken to the seminar where they were introduced formally about Infosys and their working. They were also informed about the organisation's closest competitors. After that, they enjoyed a sumptuous meal followed by a competition in which 10 teams consisting of 10 members were made in which students had to design an electric concept car which would be efficient as well as economic. The competition proved to be highly informative and acted as a spark to hone their skills even more. This engrossing competition was succeeded by an equally intriguing discussion among the Infosys personnel and the students where the fact emerged that intellect was the sole parameter for an individual to work for Infosys. The tour ended with the prize giving ceremony for the winners and of course, with imperishable memories.

One more feather has been added in the cap of APIITians’ on the auspicious day of Saturday, 24 September 2011; it is one-another yardstick set up by the students of APIIT SD INDIA, Panipat. The Indian Army conducted preliminary interviews at APIIT SD INDIA, Panipat. Students of various engineering disciplines, including software, computing and multimedia participated in the programme.

A team from the Indian Army HQ2 Corps. comprising of Colonel M. Nijhawan, Colonel M. L. Gandotra, Colonel Srabjeet Singh arrived at the campus to begin the one-day procedure for placement drive. Final year students of all engineering streams appeared before the selection team. After rounds of group discussions and personal interviews, 31 students were short-listed.

How it works:

At the beginning of test, a URL will be provided to all the students and a common user name andpassword. After accessing the link with password a student can start his test after filling his details in the registration form.

Results and Reporting:
At the end of all sections scores in different section will be displayed and soon will be mailed to all the students so that they can analyze their gap areas and strong areas.

Within few days a list of shortlisted students will be announced after mapping each student profile to the requirement of every company in our clientele. And the shortlisted students will be called for an interview by the corporate itself, and if he/she clears the interview, he/she will get an offer letter from that company itself.

Also we are testing few parameters of students through this test like interview, resume, cover letter, whose results will not be displayed to corporate, but will be shared with students so that they can correct themselves in these parameter and use this knowledge to for other companies placement too.

Rules and Regulations:

Any form of academic dishonesty is not permissible; founding any evidence of itagainst any student, will be banned for placement in future in any of our corporate list.
Copying questions from the screen is not allowed
In case of internet disconnection a separate test need to be given either in paper or the screen itself. In that case we will provide the separate paper.
All the details are necessary to be filled to start the test otherwise it will not open
Any information provided found to be different than actually possess, will cause a ban from AGE and placement in all the companies in AGE.
Everyone has to be present at a common exam room during the test and no student will be allowed to move before finishing his test and carry any piece of paper after the test.
