1) Ridgeway State Park

One of our favorite things to do is to check out the amazing state parks in the area. But when you’re in a rush to choose, sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming. So today, we’ve gathered a few of our favorites to help you choose your next stop for this weekend adventure.

1) Eldorado Canyon State Park

When you’re looking for a hidden gem of a park, you’ll find it with Eldorado Canyon State Park. Located right in Boulder’s backyard, this is a perfect weekend trip. Get in some hiking surrounded by towering sandstone cliffs or climb Eldorado’s sheer golden walls. Here you’ll find there’s a bit of something for everyone making this a truly amazing experience.

2) Castlewood Canyon State Park

Castlewood Canyon State Park is 2,628 acres of park in the unique Black Forest region of Colorado. When you visit the park, you’ll find so many great things to do. From picnicking to nature study. All with the spectacular panoramic views of the Front Range and Pikes Peak.
