Front Row stops playing music once you exit the Music section

Problem: OK so I'm playing some music through Front Row, and decide I want to look at a few photos. As soon as I move up to the main menu to get to Pictures, the music stops. Who thought this was a good idea?
Solution: Only stop playing music when the user selects something to play that has audio.

Front Row will not play rented movies

Problem: OK so we can rent movies in the Store but only watch them through iTunes or via an AppleTV, and not through Front Row? Way to go Apple!
Solution: Get your asses in gear and spend some time coding on that redheaded stepchild of yours called Front Row. YouTube and Flickr support like the AppleTV also wouldn't hurt.

Movie preview thumbnails not showing in Coverflow or Grid views

Problem: When opening o folder in Finder that contain movie files, they do not show as a thumbnail of the movie.

QuickLook of a .pps file in SnowLeopard is not as sleek as it is in Leopard

Problem: In SnowLeopard when you QuickLook a .pps file it displays the main screen with the thumbnails of the pages on the left side. You cannot use your mouse scrollwheel to scroll up / down the pages, as the main view is fixed. You also cannot use the up/down (more...)

Application icons are not refreshed when an app is freshly installed

Wireless Printer/scanner printer problem

Problem: Previously working cannon wireless printer/scanner &/or fax and copy combination printers will be switched to straight scanning rather than both. Thus making printing impossible.

Snow Leopard - the new minimize option has no clear indication of minimized windows

Problem: In the new Snow Leopard you have the option to minimize a window in the
application icon but as soon as you minimize it there is no clear indication that

Address Book's "search for duplicates" needs to be more informative about conflicts

Problem: When Address Book finds duplicate contacts, it simply asks you whether or not you wish to merge the contacts, without any supplementary information. It's impossible to make a good decision based on that information.
Solution: Give it a dialogue similar to the sync conflicts dialog - we can see both the contacts, and if they are indeed identical, we can choose to merge them.

Problem: file properties dialog (option i) does not show any checksums.
Solution: sha1 would be useful as it is used to validate downloads. i think the impact would be medium as support calls around validation (macosx combo updates, etc) no longer have complex terminal and command-line usage instructions.

Turning off display (sleep display) on an Imac via ctrl-sift-eject, buggy behavior

Problem: When turning off my display via ctrl-shift-eject, or using a hot-corner, to put my display to sleep will not work. My display goes to sleep for 2 - 3 seconds and then comes back on, even when no applications are running (at least that i'm aware of). (more...)

Ugly "loading" mouse cursor

Problem: Sometimes a realy ugly loading cursor appears. It seems to be a watch/clock. I think this is something like the "small" loading cursor on windows (mouse cursor + small hour glass).

Problem: When I open Finder and try to find some file I have to scroll all the page down to see the folders. And this is so anoying, because I have to scroll down a hundred times to find something.
Solution: Folders should be first "type of file", and be always the first to appear in each drive, folder or subfolder on Finder and on Open / Save dialogs of all Apps.

Finder: automatically disable icon preview for icon sizes below a certain size

Problem: I like to have 16x16 icons for certain folders with many content. The problem is, that document files, eg. txt, pdf, doc, etc., have a preview, others, like dmg don't have previews. This makes some files/filetypes unrecognizable.
Solution: It would be better, if the preview would be AUTOMATICALLY disabled for small icon sizes. So, If I change from icon view to list view (very small icons) the preview should be disabled automatically.
