Problem: By default, Safari opens every DMG it downloads and starts the install script within. Together with the omnipresent automatic download-on-page-load functionality (eg: <META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="3;URL=URL_to_document"><br (more...)
Solution: Don't let Safari automatically open DMG's by default. And don't call this option "open safe files after downloading". DMG's are not always safe files! At least give the user some warning that he's opening a file has (more...)
Problem: OK so I'm playing some music through Front Row, and decide I want to look at a few photos. As soon as I move up to the main menu to get to Pictures, the music stops. Who thought this was a good idea?
Problem: OK so we can rent movies in the Store but only watch them through iTunes or via an AppleTV, and not through Front Row? Way to go Apple!
Solution: Get your asses in gear and spend some time coding on that redheaded stepchild of yours called Front Row. YouTube and Flickr support like the AppleTV also wouldn't hurt.
Problem: When opening o folder in Finder that contain movie files, they do not show as a thumbnail of the movie.
This happens with movies of the following types: qt, mov, avi, wmv, mp4, m4v, flv
With perian installed along with Flip4Mac there (more...)

Problem: In the new Snow Leopard you have the option to minimize a window in the
application icon but as soon as you minimize it there is no clear indication that
the windows are minimized and how many are they. It is OK that the windows are minimized (more...)
Solution: Maybe in a way like iPhone notification works. It displays a little circle with the
info of how many windows are minimized. The bottom half of the screenshot
is a quick preview of how could this be made.
Problem: I use Cmd-H all the time to quickly hide applications. The only problem is that in no
Problem: When turning off my display via ctrl-shift-eject, or using a hot-corner, to put my display to sleep will not work.

Problem: I like to have 16x16 icons for certain folders with many content. The problem is, that document files, eg. txt, pdf, doc, etc., have a preview, others, like dmg don't have previews. This makes some files/filetypes unrecognizable.
Solution: It would be better, if the preview would be AUTOMATICALLY disabled for small icon sizes. So, If I change from icon view to list view (very small icons) the preview should be disabled automatically.

And yes, I know, that I can disable (more...)
Severity: Low
Impact: Low
Status: Not fixed

Problem: When making changes such as renaming files, or customizing icons, they are not updated on a stack. For example, when renaming a file, if the stack is sorted by name, it doesn't re-arrange by the new naming. Also when customizing icons within a folder, (more...)
Solution: Stacks should update any and all changes such as renaming and custom icons.
