Next are some fabulous photos taken recently for the Edinburgh Vintage Wedding Show.  First up was our  wonderful vintage style alice band Sienna which just looks amazing here. Note that Sienna also has a matching bridal belt: 

Then our lovely Laetitia birdcage veil is shown with both a long flowing dress and then a vintage skirt suit again showing how versatile this piece is. This piece works really well with the birdcage veil worn either forwards or backwards.

Last but certainly not least is our teardrop style fascinator Elaina which works so well with this bolero.

Despite all of this, Claire managed to keep her cool and looked stunning as you can see in the photos below. Congratulations to Claire and Ruaridh – what a story for the grandchildren!!

She wore this to accessorize a short wedding dress and as you can see – she looks amazing  with the birdcage veil finishing off the outfit perfectly.  A very beautiful bride!

If you want a particular colour or width please contact us before placing an order. You may also opt for a more luxurious option made from duchess satin or even dupion silk to match your dress.

Many of our belts also come with the option of a matching headpiece – most of our popular vintage style alice bands can be made as a matching set with a belt, and you save money by buying them as a set. Some of our lace belts also have the option of adding a brooch to the belt, which can be worn on the belt as a feature and/or can then be re-used as a brooch on the dress or bolero.

Julie wanted something simple and not too lacey to avoid clashing with the lace detail on her stunning dress and bolero.  Having short hair she asked for the Evette design to be made on a narrow alice band that she could hide amongst her hair rather than the normal clip or comb that it is usually made on.  She opted for a tulle birdcage veil that she could wear during the ceremony, which we created separately from the actual fascinator to allow her to remove the veil for the reception.
