ARENA UK UPGRADES TO CUSHION TRACK

Leading competition centre agree plan to upgrade facilities with new improved footing

As from 2017, Arena UK have gone into partnership with Equestrian Surfaces Ltd and in doing so have committed to the upgrading of surfaces on the large outdoor arenas.

Arena UK has grown and developed over the past 10 years and is well regarded as one of the leading establishments in the UK boasting over 20,000sqM of all-weather arenas. Running such an establishment comes a responsibility to provide the very best facilities for competitors, especially the footing.

Having teamed up with Equestrian Surfaces Ltd, they will now be able to offer the Cushion Track Premier surface on its signature outdoor 120m x 90m arena and the newly extended 80m x 60m arena.

General Manager Teresa Stratford says, “when deciding to refurbish the footings, it is a difficult choice. We decided on Equestrian Surfaces due to the 30 years of experience they have, on top of this we were very impressed with the Cushion Track Premier they supplied to other large establishments and show jumping events. Knowing that we were buying a high quality, safe, consistent and proven surface was a big factor for us and to have their aftercare support going forward is invaluable, which made the decision in the end, relatively simple.”

Arena UK will be upgrading the 2 large outdoor arenas in March 2017 in preparation for the 2017 show season.

Our Major Show Jumping Championships attracts over 1500 competitors from all over the UK including all the top UK and Irish professionals with a total prize fund of over £175,000. The Grand Prix offers a £60,000.00 prize fund (the highest first prize currently available in Great Britain) with £20,000.00 to the winner, this event is hotly contested and will be featured on Horse and Country TV, along with the Puissance Event on Friday 23rd September.
Hospitality packages are available throughout the event offering fantastic viewing overlooking the Main Indoor Championship Arena.
