Here I am trying to embrace spring with these printed shirt and jelly loafers that I have got no chance to wear before. Cute patterns and colors are bold enough on their own, so I kept the entire look casual and simple by pairing them with jeans. And I like the idea of channeling the nineties through the headband.

We all know about the importance of supporting local farmers and purveyors by attending farmers markets and buying from those who produce food here in our nation, the same goes for fashion. Buying local fashion labels helps support us all as a community and goes on to assist our city and nation's economy. Admittedly, I buy plenty of clothes that come from all over the world, but some of my personal wardrobe staples are from local designers that really know how to make it work. There are so many great Indonesia based fashion brands, two of them are The Balletcats and Nikicio which I'm wearing in this post. Investing locally helps us think globally. It just does. Many say people either love Indonesia or hate it. I say love it and show it with style.

I´m currently obsessed with the sporty-military look. Not only does it instantly makes me feel adventurous and powerfull (so I can have some 'extra energy' to face a hectic day), it also functional! What better trend is there to combat all weathers? Cargo pants are durable and leather Chuck's are cool yet comfortable.

Menswear shows for fall/winter 2013 in Milan and Paris are over and I have picked my favourite looks. They'd give it all to us. Yes, there was a strong dandy element in spare, printed suit, slightly A-line coats with an angular tie at the throat. I really like how they break down the classic looks by using safety pins instead buttons or put that funny mountain-man beanie and those wingtips slash creepers from Prada that I bet will be hot items next season. I probably missed quite some gems, so please let me know in the comments which were your favourite ones.

(Topman sweater, Cheap Monday jeans, Vans x Kenzo shoes) During the last couple of weeks I have completely find myself disconnected from all things digital. If you follow me on Twitter, you might know that I've been going through a tough time recently. A week ago, my older brother passed away after battling with cancer. Sometimes I wonder why he had been taken away so early on, but that is not something that I can answer. Maybe God loves him and miss him so much. However I'm still grateful to have an amazing brother that will never be measured up to. I'm thankful of the memories that I will always have of him. He's my inspiration. Even though he's sick, he was always cheerful and never complaining. He believed that life should be lived to its fullest. He taught me how to not lost hope and smile, even when things were horrible. “What’s the harm in trying?” is a phrase he used to say often. These are the latest shot of mine that taken by him before he's gone. Ohhh I miss him very much everyday. I know that the day he escaped he was finally able to fly and soar and truly enjoy life the way that it was meant to be enjoyed. It doesn’t take the sorrow away, but it makes me smile to know that somewhere in the skies and in Heaven, he is making others smile. Adieu, my brother! See you in the next life!

We all see the world differently. It's a fact. If you take some guys into the forest with cameras and ask them to take pictures, the results will be different. Someone will focus on ants in a tree. Another snaps only wildflowers. The other one might photograph the people photographing nature. We're blessed with different eyes, different ways of seeing and different gifts. That's why we're not supposed to force our point of view to others. If someone interpretation or opinion of something is different with you, doesn't mean they're wrong and you also don't have to follow them and leave your faith at the door. All that we need is respect and understanding, so we can see our lives and world more peaceful and beautiful.

I can't believe it's June already, time flies like a rocket. I just finished my final exams, which is mean, in just a few months I will become a senior student. I don't know whether I should be happy or sad about this. Today was nice, though! Went to chill out with my friends, eating junkfood and riding my bike around town. Ok I know that sounds contradictive, but whatsoever. I'm wearing Forever 21 beanie, Super sunglasses and tee from Dignity Cloth. I bet we all have those days-You know, the ones when you wake up in the morning feeling lazy to dress up or need to go out just for a little walk but still want to look chic or maybe had a busy day yesterday, wake up late in the morning and don’t have enough time to think about your dress up. Oh so glad that I have this shirt from Modify, so I don't have to worry about what to wear anymore. It's comfy and soft yet still catchy and make you stand out in a crowd. This time I paired it with Zara straw hat instead of applying a gel on my hair and took my sandals because every once in a while my feet have their right to breathe. Finding a good pair to be able to walk in has proved challenging. Clarks makes some really great ones that I can walk in all day and yet they are pretty nice too.
