Spring sports have officially started at Walton High School and this weekend February 17^th and 18^th some of our teams will play some their first games of the season while some our winter sports will be wrapping up their season. If you are looking for something fun to do to get out of the house this weekend, check out one of these fun events!

Walton High School Presents “Anything Goes”

Bring you family and friends to Walton High School March 1^st – 3^rd as they present the musical “Anything Goes”. Performances are each night at 7 p.m. with a special performance 2:00 p.m on Saturday March 3^rd. Tickets can be purchased online at waltondrama.com or purchased at the door. Ticket prices are $5 dollars for students and $10 for adults.

Live Music at Abbey Road Bar and Grill

Every Saturday from now until March 4^th, Abbey Road Bar and Grill will have live music from 9 p.m. to 1a.m. Each Saturday night they will be featuring a different band. Free Kids Craft at Lakeshore

Every Saturday from now until March 3^rd, your child has the chance to participate in a free kids craft day at Lakeshore Learning store. Craft day will take place from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Crafts are different every week, so you are more than welcome to come every week for a different activity. “Annie,Jr.” at Dickerson

Students from Dickerson Middle School and Black Cooper Productions, Inc. present the musical Annie Jr. this weekend, January 27^th and 28^th. Showtime for Saturday will be at 7:00 p.m and the Sunday Showtime will be at 3 p.m. The play will take place in the Dickerson Middle School Theater. All seats will be $10 general admission and can be purchased in advance online at www.bcprod.org.

The Wood Acres School Open House

On January 22^nd The Wood Acres School is holding an open house for the both the early school and grades K-8. The early school will have an open house from 1:30 – 3 p.m. and grades K-8 will take place between 3:30 – 5 p.m. We would love you to visit the campus and meet the faculty and see how “small acorns grow into mighty oaks”. Humprey Bogart Film Festival

From now until August 28^th you will be able to enjoy a film festival honoring Humprey Bogart every Saturday afternoon. The film festival will take place at the East Cobb Public Library on Lower Roswell Rd. The film will start at 2:00 p.m. and run until 4:00. Christmas Tree Drop Off

Do you have a Christmas tree sitting around your house still with no place to trash it?

Lucky for you, this weekend they are having a free Christmas tree drop off at a few county parks around the eastbobb area. The county parks include: Fullers Park, Sewell Park and Harrison Park.

Holiday Wine and Food Tasting at Whole Foods Merchant Walk

With the holidays right around the corner, Whole Foods wants to make sure you have the perfect food and wine for your holiday parties. In order to do this, Whole foods has scheduled a Top 10 Wine Tasting event and a Winter Holiday Tasting.

The Wine Tasting will take place Thursday, December 15^th at 6:30, and will include a sampling of their best wines for your holiday party.

The Winter Holiday Tasting will be a sampling of our most popular menu items throughout the store. Ordering will take place during the event and anyone who places an order during the event will get a coupon for a free pie.
