This pretty girl was picked up as a stray on Park Drive in Carroll County (GA) on July 8. She appears to be mostly a tri-colored Australian Shepherd. She’s 8 months old and is not very large – so will only be medium-sized when full grown. Look at that friendly, open expression – a sweet puppy.

I have been fostering a 6.5 month old Australian Shepard/Cattledog Mix for two weeks now.. I already have a 1.5 year old GSD/mix and things just aren’t working out and we need to find another home for her.

Her name is Penny, she’s got a sweet disposition, smart, not housebroken and the sole survivor from a puppy mill, her littermates and mum did not survive.

I just took her to the vet this morning and she has a clean bill of health and is up to date on all her shots as of 5/29 and is spayed.

I met someone who had found two aussie mixes the other day (about 9 weeks) and I offered to take one. I live in Augusta and in the last week my job has changed my schedule for the worst (about 9-10 hours away) and I do not see me being able to provide the best home now because of this. Is there any way your organization can help in finding a home for her? She is by far the best thing I could have asked for but it would not be fair to her to live in a crate for 10 hours a day. I don’t have any intention to take her to a shelter, but I need help placing her. Please help. I’ve attached a picture of her. She’s had her first round of shots and advantix.

Tootsie is a 5 1/2 yr old mini (possible toy) Aussie, she stands about 14″ tall. She is a black tri (docked tail) and just as cute as a button (her coat had been shaved a couple months ago so will grow back long). Right now she weighs around 25lb but should probably weigh more like 18 or 19 lbs (yes she is very overweight). She is a little on the shy side at first. She follows me all around the house and then settles at my feet.

Tootsie was a little growly with my dogs and if they got in her face she’d snap but they all know to keep their distance and she’s fine with that! She may prefer a home with no other dogs, I think she’d be happier. I was told by her former owner she does not like cats.

Tootsie rides very well in the car and seems to enjoy it, she’ll jump right in! She walks fairly well on a leash. I think small children would be a bit overwhelming. You should see Tootsie rip around the yard! She then runs to the water bowl and starts digging in it, water everywhere…it’s a mess but it’s so cute (only the outside water bowl NOT the inside one)! I decided to get out the wading pool, she will go in it and start digging in it and then just lay there like AHHHHH. She loves it! Tootsie is also a great sleeping buddy. She lays in one place, doesn’t move around and is very content to sleep with you (and she doesn’t take up much room!). She would make a nice traveling companion, nice and portable.

Vinnie and Veronica are availabe to a forever home after an approved adoption application is recieved, and a home visit is done. These two will be adopted in state, so that should they need the assistance of their foster mom, they are not to far. Vinnie is showing the likelyhood of being partially blind, and moderatly deaf. Veronica on the other hand is believed to be both blind and deaf… These two babies are amazing, and are showing no signs of delay, even with their dissabilities. These two are ready now and are current to date with vaccines,and have been dewormed. Please contact inter509@aol.com if you would like to inquire on the two. It will take a very patient hand, and a life long commitment to a special needs pet. Should you be willing to devote much time, love and energy to these two, it is for sure, that they will return the same.

This handsome boy is Jenner. He was set to transport to our Northern friends; however, has tested positive for Heartworms. We will treat him for this in GA and hopefully be able to transport him to NY for fostering at a later date.

Jenner does well with other dogs, and is interested in cats, but leaves them alone when asked to.

Currently, Jenner is located in Kennesaw, GA.
