Sa 'Yo Lamang - A Lenten Season Album

Hello, friends!

We just like to promote the inspirational album "Sa 'Yo Lamang", (especially made for this Lenten Season) wherein our group is part of it. We have sung "On Eagle's Wings" (choral arrangement by our Musical Director, Ms. Julie Garcia) and the "Sa 'Yo Lamang" official movie theme with Juris as the lead vocals (choral arrangement by Mr. Paolo Zarate and Ms. Julie Garcia).

The album was produced by Ms. Jamie Rivera under Star Records and it's the official soundtrack for the upcoming movie with the same title under Star Cinema. It has twelve tracks and besides our choir and Ms. Jamie Rivera, it also includes various artists like Aiza Seguerra, Juris, Erik Santos, Fatima Soriano (the child healer) and other church choirs.

We Will Miss You, Ram!

Ram Rafuson, one of our newbies, bid goodbye to us last April 26 to enter the Philippine National Police Academy. Though his stay with us was shortlived, we will definitely miss him and will continue to pray for his success in his future endeavors.

Lhen, one of our beloved sopranos, tied the knot with Nelson on April 25 at the St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Ermita, Manila. The grand reception followed at the Dragon Gate Seafood Restaurant in Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City. Ars Cantica Ensemble had the privilege to sing in the mass as well as in the reception.

TV (Healing) Mass and Puri's Ice Cream Treat!

Ars Cantica Ensemble sang live at the 6:00 AM TV (Healing) Mass last February 8. The Mass was officiated by Fr. Jerry Orbos, sponsored by the Soliman Family and aired on ABS-CBN. On the same day, Puri made an ice cream treat to the group in celebration of her birthday on February 2. :)
