 <title>How the Internet is Helping Donors &amp; Fundraisers</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;A shift is occurring with Canadian donations: they&amp;#39;re moving online.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ten years ago I was fortunate to be &amp;quot;donated&amp;quot; by my employer, A.T. Kearney, and join Anne Golden&amp;#39;s team at United Way of Greater Toronto as their first-ever VP of eBusiness...and I haven&amp;#39;t looked back since. In those heady days I thought we would replace all of the paper in the workplace campaigns in the matter of a few years!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As with most things Internet, it takes much longer than originally forecast. Today we estimate that less than 5% of all individual giving in Canada travels through digital systems. But this number is growing quickly due to the inherent advantages of online giving.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It may seem obvious, but one of the primary reasons why charities and donors prefer Internet giving is because it&amp;#39;s one of the least expensive ways to get money into a charity&amp;#39;s bank account.  <description>&lt;h1&gt;Just in time for Run / Walk / Ride season... &lt;/h1&gt;&lt;p&gt;We’ve amped up the customization options on your event/campaign personal pages in our April release to North America!  &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;When you create an event inside the Artez solution, you can choose between the “basic” (display a single registrant image on personal and team pages) or the “interactive” media option.  &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The “interactive” Media Player is a great way to provide design flexibility for those  registrants who love to share images, messages and videos with their sponsors.  &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Your organization can upload 3 default videos from Youtube and/or 3 default images each for the Individual and Team media players. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;img src="/files/images/uploadmedia.gif" alt="Upload your videos and images!" width="469" height="333" /&gt;  &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;An easy-to-use flash player allows viewers to click through the items and check out all your content.  &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Your event registrants can also upload their own videos and/or images, and display their own personal messages.  &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://artez.com/blog/it-s-spring-bouquet-pics-videos-and-messages"&gt;read more&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

 <title>Enhancements inside the Artez Solution</title>

 <description>&lt;h1&gt;March 15th, 2009 – Release 140 &lt;/h1&gt;&lt;h2&gt;  &lt;/h2&gt;&lt;h1&gt;A new, improved search page – Toggle back and forth! &lt;/h1&gt;&lt;p&gt;We’ve made it easier to switch between &lt;i&gt;Search for an Individual&lt;/i&gt; and &lt;i&gt;Search for a Team&lt;/i&gt;. Both options are accessible by tabs on the same new search page. You can keep your current individual and team search pages, or enable the new search page with the toggle tab feature. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The new links for individual and team search will appear on the left menu of Event Home Page, under your current search links. Enable the new search pages by choosing Content &amp;gt; Event Home Page &amp;gt; Edit Content. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Select the Event Donation checkboxes at the bottom of the page to enable the new search page in either Individual or Team state. Edit the text on the new search page by choosing Content &amp;gt; Donation &amp;amp; Search &amp;gt; Individual and Team Search Page. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;i&gt;Please note:&lt;/i&gt; This is the search page accessible from Event Home Page.  <description>Two new features inside the Artez solution are ready to help you brand your    2009 events.  &lt;h1&gt;&lt;b&gt;Interactive Scoreboards: Show off your fundraising champions!&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/h1&gt;&lt;p&gt;Event administrators can now customize    individual and team scoreboards by choosing their own fonts &amp;amp; colours. Match    your organization’s existing branding right down to the exact Hex value,    or design something cheerful for your upcoming campaigns.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;It’s easy to customize your look and feel with these new scoreboard tools. Enable your interactive scoreboard by choosing Widgets &amp;gt; Format Scoreboard &amp;gt; Layout. &lt;/p&gt;   &lt;p&gt;&lt;img src="/files/images/newsletters/scoreboard_1.gif" alt="Scoreboard admin panel" border="1" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;   &lt;i&gt;Scoreboard admin panel&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;You can display a lot more scoreboard information by choosing the “interactive    scoreboards” option in your administration settings.
