What would you do if you catch a man trying to rape a teenage girl? Would you be brave enough to stop it?

For some people in Ganganagar, India, stopping the act is not enough – you have to teach the predator a lesson!

Suresh Kumar, 40, was caught by angry citizens after being alarmed by a terrified scream from an alley. They decided to take action and they successfully managed to stop the crime. After a short discussion, the crowd even agreed to take the law into their hands and dragged him into one of the butchers in the city.

Their grand plan? Beat him with sticks for about an hour and then this – cut off his genitalia using a meat cleaver. They threw the remains of it in the road along with Suresh Kumar’s bleeding body closely nearby.

Citizens in the area seemed to agree with what the vigilantes did. Although the police have reminded everyone about maintaining law and order, not one of the mobs have stepped up and owned to the act yet. “We ask those men who carried out this attack to hand themselves in before we find them,” the police warned.

It was an ordinary day for customer Devorise Dixon. He simply ordered a box of chicken meal from a KFC branch in Wilmington, California.

He immediately noticed the chicken had a strange shape but didn’t give it much attention, thinking it was just breaded chicken breast.

However, things took an interesting twist from there. Here’s Devorise describing the experience:

"As I bit into it I noticed that it was very hard and rubbery which made me look at it. As I looked down at it I noticed that it was in a shape of a rat with a tail.”

Naturally, he was disgusted. "It sent deep chills throughout my whole body! I’ve been feeling weird ever since. It's time for a lawyer!" he mentioned on the caption of the pictures he posted online.

His post on Facebook attracted various reactions from netizens, some are believing his tale and are encouraging him to take legal action while others are a little doubtful. Thom Phan commented "I can't believe everyone just jumps boat and assumes it's a rat… Look at it carefully… The tail thing could just be a piece of chicken skin.” WATCH THE VIDEO

Of course, it truly goes without saying that playing is an important (even crucial) part of childhood. It provides kids with wonderful opportunities to learn as well as to develop their social, physical, emotional and mental skills. Experts all agree to this and Kay Redfield Jamison once said “Children need the freedom and time to play. Play is not a luxury. Play is a necessity.”

That statement should be a huge eye-opener, especially for parents who are almost always keeping their child from playing and telling them it’s nothing but waste of time.

Moreover, there are yet others who add that playing and being childlike is also necessary for the grownups.

For example, world-renowned scientist Albert Einstein believes that “Play is the highest form of research.” In the same vein, psychologist Abraham Maslow once declared “Almost all creativity involves purposeful play.”

Those points are definitely something for all of us to think about.

Personally, I think that serves as an invitation for all of us to drop what we’re doing, once in a while, and spend time doing something that’s just fun. No devices and video games should get in the way. Besides, playing a sport with friends or maybe playing with your kids are some of the best ways to reduce stress – and be a little closer to those that matter most to you.

A 1,700 Year Old Tradition Of Sutra Transcription

“When I first held the brush, I was five years old,” Kim told NY Daily News. “It’s been 45 years so far.” Oegil Kim Kyeong Ho’s incredible sutra transcriptions and illumination by hand, known in Korea as Sagyeong are stunning and more unbelievable after you hear the whole story behind it. The king and State officially supported the Buddhism which led to flourishing of Buddhist Arts. Also, Gild-painted manuscripts which were both time-consuming and expensive were also commissioned. Thanks to artists like Kim, however, it survived to this day.The exhibition Samadhi + Art = Sagyeong brings out the beauty and history of this unique art field. Unfortunately, this delicate technique was eventually largely replaced by printing. The 50-year-old creates painstaking images in gold and silver using only a Brush made of Animal hairs. He is working up to 10 hours a day without having a break with a single piece of his artwork with a temperatures around 100 degrees - it is necessary for this specialized paint.

This one is located in Panathénaic stadium in Athens, Greece.

This art was associated with Action Acid a group that supports people in poverty.

This is how they make this craft and how time-consuming it is. I could imagine the dedication and the love that Mademoiselle has for this art!

Education is an important tool in changing our world to a better one.Every citizen has the right to be educated yet not everybody is given the opportunity. There are areas around the world that are so remote and inaccessible from the civilization. They are suppressed by so many things, but they still strive hard to have a better future.

The pictures below depict children who are committed in going to school despite of the difficult routes they have to take for them to attend class. These are situations that we can't even imagine as part of our daily routine.

Students of Lebak Indonesia have to cross a wrecked hanging bridge.

A girl in Myanmar, having a ride in a water buffalo.

In Colombia, students have to travel on a 800m inclined steel cable 400m above the Rio Negro River.

Riding in an improvised vehicle called Tuktuk an auto rickshaw in Beldanga, India

School girls in Sri Lanka crosses a plank that connects the wall of the 16th Century Galle Fort.

Before reaching school, they have to climb on wooden ladders in Zhang Jiawan Village, Southern China.

A tiring walk to Himalayas to reach their boarding school.

Crossing the unsafe bamboo raft in Cilangkap Village, Indonesia.

In Padang, Sumatra, Indonesia they have to walk on a tight rope, 30 feet above the river.

A long journey in the mountains of Gulu, China. It takes 5 hours for them to reach school.

These may open our eyes to reality, especially to the students who often complain how worthless going to school can be. We are so lucky not to experience this exhausting route to school. The Rise of the Real-Life Walking Dead in Indonesia!

One of the most favorite fictional characters in our times is the zombies in the TV series The Walking Dead. The series became hit especially that rumors are spreading that one day there will be a zombie apocalypse. They try to correlate it to the incurable diseases existing in the world such as Ebola.
It's scary to imagine that one day; we will be running for our lives because zombies are going after us. But here is a story of an ethnic group called Toraja in South Sulawesi, Indonesia where the existence of real walking dead could be found.

The people in this place have a special ritual that takes place in August. Ma'nene they said is more important than birthdays or weddings for Torajans. In this ceremony, families dig up the corpse of their loved ones, wash, groom, and dress them in new clothes. Then, the mummies are walked around the community since they believe that a dead person should go back to their homes. There are 3 ways of burial for Torajans, the coffin may be placed inside the caves, hung on a cliff or in a carved stone grave. They do this so they can get back their deceased loved ones' body easily. They even have wood-carved effigies overlooking the village, called Tau tau which is made for the notable people of their community. After the ceremony, the corpses are returned to their gravesite.

This ritual sound disgusting or unhygienic for us, but for Torajans, it is a part of their identity.

Believe it or not, the following pictures you are about to see are not edited via Photoshop.

These amazing photos were taken by Katerina Plotnikova, a photographer who hails from Moscow, Russia.

Evidently inspired by fantasy elements, what makes Katerina’s work stand out from other surreal photography out there is that she uses real live animals to pose with models on her photoshoots.

Yes, you read that right. Real. Live. Animals. And take note, some of those are even wild animals!

Sounds pretty scary, right? Scroll down and see for yourself!

I just love how these pictures capture the gracefulness of the interaction between humans and animals. The first picture, for instance, shows a bear kissing the hands of a young woman who I’m assuming is portraying a princess.

Since she’s a redhead, the girl on the second photo somehow reminded me of a Pixar character – Princess Merida from “Brave.” And considering how calm she seems while posing with a snake, I’ll give her that. She really deserves to be called brave.

Actually, all the models are! Just take a look at how they elegantly posed with an elephant, a stag, a fox, a camel, a hedgehog, and even a tiger!

The pictures were a huge hit among netizens everywhere. A lot of people praised the artistic appeal as well as the beautifully mystical concepts of the photos.

Katerina, of course, is quick to give credit to the 2 professional animal trainers who helped her with during the photoshoot (one of them is pictured feeding the bear posing with a woman). These trainers were around during the entire time to ensure no one was harmed.

Thousands of years ago, art came into existence. It has become part of humans' day to day living. It became a vehicle in expressing human thoughts and emotions that are sometimes beyond words. As our world develops, the definition of art has evolved along with it. Uncountable artists have become part of our history and their influences were passed on from one generation to another.

In our growing world of creative minds, HYPERREALISM (visual art) is one of the talks of the town. It is a kind of art characterized by representation of real life. It is described as similar to high resolution photograph.

A hyperrealist sculptor is now making a name in our era, Ronald "Ron" Mueck. This amazing artist was born in Australia and is now a UK based sculptor. He began his career as a model maker and puppeteer for children's television and films. Then, he switched in fine arts in 1996.

His sculptures stand out from the rest because they are detailed inch by inch. They can replicate human expressions and actions. He works hour after hour to bring perfection to his artworks. He keenly chooses the appropriate color of the skin, texture of the hair, and patiently carves every crease in a man’s body.
His artworks have garnered different remarks. Many find them incredible and amusing and for some, they are eerie to look at. But one thing’s for sure, Ron’s artworks are one of kind.
Most pictures below will depict the different stages of human life, from a newly born baby, adolescent, adult to the latter part of life and even death. He created miniatures, life-size and gigantic sculptures. Look and be amazed!

French Artist Creates Colorful Characters Out of Everyday Objects

People with artistic inclinations naturally have imaginative minds. They see things differently and they can create songs, drawings, paintings, or stories out of seemingly ordinary experiences and objects.

Well, French artist, graphic designer, and sculptor Gilbert Legrand is no different.

Although what strikes us about him and his work is his chosen medium – objects most of us see and use every single day!

What this guy does is so amazing he’ll take simple items and turn them into funny characters. He’ll use anything ranging from scissors and zippers, to brushes and spray bottles and gives them new life by transforming them into whimsical sculptures!

Here are a few samples of his stuff:

This has got to be the most romantic scissor I’ve ever seen.

I suppose this hinge is either a detective or a salesman. Either way, I’m loving the hat and eyeglasses!

Pardon the pun but this faucet lady seems to be “running” out of water.

This is hilarious! A table tennis racket playing, well, table tennis!

Cowboys will hate this brush. Or will love it since they’ll be able to use an Indian to brush things up!

Fallen Soldiers Brought to Life by Two Amazing Artists. Amazing When You See It From Above.

D-day is a term used in military which means an operation is to be initiated. The most known D-Day was in June 6, 1944 on the beaches of Normandy which was codenamed Operation Neptune or better known as The Normandy Landings. It was the biggest seaborne invasion listed in history.

10,000 men were estimated to sacrifice their lives on this D-Day which also marked the defeat of Nazi after 11 months of the operation. To honor these men, two creative English artists, Jamie Wardley and Andy Moss, brought into existence the figures of the fallen soldiers imprinted in the sand along the beach.

60 volunteers along with 500 local residents joined in this memorable day. They patiently etched the figures on the sand.

Aerial view shows an ordinary beach with many sand prints.

But when looked closely, you will see amazing figures of men etched on sand.

Though these imprints will be washed away by the waves, they will constantly remind the people the cost of the freedom they have today.

This commemoration is just one of the things we do to honor our fallen soldiers and sympathize with their families. The freedom we have now is something we must cherish because along with it, are the lives of many brave people who battled for us to savor what we have now. Many wars are still ahead of us and we do not want to end up in a similar scenario someday. We must put an end to it and live in a world of harmony and love. We salute the 10,000 soldiers of D-Day!

This Guy has Totally Created the Most Realistic Halloween Costumes!

Halloween is just around the corner and of course kids and also adults who are into trick or treats & costume parties are now preparing for their scariest, creative and one of kind costumes. Some would even invest much time and exert a lot of effort to have their ideal attire, but for most of us, we'll just grab what's available on our closet.

Meet Mark Rober, a former mechanical engineer of National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for nine years and who is now a famous Halloween costume designer. It all began in 2011 wherein he created a very special costume that no one has ever created. He used two iPads and Facetime chat, creating an illusion of seeing through his tummy. Since then, he created his company, Digital Dudz that was latterly sold to Morphsuits where he works now.

More and more costumes and ideas are made by Mark and together with his team, they also created a free application on smartphones that can be used with their wearable tech Halloween costumes. They used YouTube to advertise and it worked well, for their customers. Watch how amazing and just like what his ad on Digital Dudz says, “Unique, totally gory, totally awesome costumes."

Heartbreaking Fairytale Wedding of a Dying Groom in His Deathbed (Viral Video)

Probably one of the most awaited events for couples is to tie the bond. This is the time wherein they promise to take their love to eternity. But what if the groom is already at the death's door? Here is the heartbreaking story of Rowden and Leizl.

In the description of the uploaded video in YouTube by Rowden’s brother Hasset Go, he said that Rowden and Leizl decided to tie the knot on July 8, 2014 on Rowden's 30th birthday.
Unfortunately in late May, Rowden was diagnosed with stage IV liver cancer. His last request was to marry Leizl. With the help of the family members and Philippine General Hospital for allowing the unusual event to take place Rowden's dream has come to life.

It was a 12 hour preparation according to Hasset. And due to Rowden's condition they decided to bring the wedding in the hospital. In the introduction of the video, a bouquet of flower was shown in the venue (Philippine General Hospital).While they are preparing the bride they were as well preparing Rowden in his hospital bed.

They brought him in the hospital's corridor where his smiling bride was marching together with their 2 year old daughter towards him. Despite of his difficulty, Rowden was happily staring at his bride while they were exchanging their vows.

Everybody was crying during the ceremony and many times Rowden was seen very weak. Liezl gave her husband the final kiss and they had the usual after wedding photo-shoot. The priceless happiness of Rowden radiated in his eyes. His families and friends were so happy to witness and fulfill his final wish.

On June 11, 2014, 10 hours after the wedding, Rowden passed away. But he carried a valuable memory in his deathbed.

This isn’t the usual happy ever after story we see on movies or TV shows but the story of Rowden and Liezl gave the true meaning of “For better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love land to cherish, till death do us part.”
