The art of marbling on paper, 'ebru' in Turkish, is a traditional decorative form employing special methods. The word 'ebru' comes from the Persian word 'EBR,' which means 'cloud.'

The word 'ebri' then evolved from this, assuming the meaning 'like a cloud' or 'cloudy,' and was assimilated into Turkish in the form 'ebru.' Marbling really gives the impression of clouds.

Although it is not known when and in what country was taken the art of marbling, no doubt is a peculiar to the countries of this decorative art. A number of Persian sources report that first emerged in India.

He was carried from India to Persia, and from there to the Ottomans. According to other sources, the art of marbling was taken to the city of Bukhara in Turkistan, finding by the Ottomans in Persia. In the West, 'ebru' is known as 'Turkish paper.'

HOW DOES EBRU?

Marbling paper is one of the most enjoyable ways of art, although it requires great patience. The first is to select the appropriate role, as not all paper can be used. The paper needs to dry and absorb the paint thoroughly. The masters of calligraphy, in earlier times, chose to write in what was known as paper 'dress', who had a mixture of cornstarch and white of egg rubbed on its surface. Many physicians of the time that streaked, preferred the raw paper, 'undressed' paper since the version 'dressed' did not absorb paint well.

A large, wide, shallow and generally rectangular tray is necessary for the practice of marbling. A kind of white gum obtained stem tragacanth plant is mixed in a bowl with water in specific proportions. Various substances, such as orchid tubers, flax seeds and kerosene removed or quince can be used instead of gum tragacanth. The mixture was allowed to stand for 12 hours and stirred occasionally. Gum eventually dissolves, and the mixture comes to acquire the consistency of the painter, a thick drink made from fermented millet.

In the next step the paint marbling is prepared in small cups. The paint to be used should be finely ground and must not be one of those vegetable or chemical paints that do not dissolve in water. After the paint is dissolved in water in small cups, two tablespoons of fresh coffee Gall added. The aim behind this procedure is to prevent the finely ground paint from sinking to the bottom and make sure that floats on the surface. The paintings of various colors prepared in this way then are extended and finally emptied into the tray.

The paint clings to the surface in small containers, which are then mixed or separated by a wooden stick, resulting in designs that surprise and fascinate. Specific designs can also be created according to the wishes of the artist. The special paper laid over these designs is lifted to one side some 5-10 seconds later, in the same way in which one is turning the pages of a book, holding it by two edges and being careful not to smear the paint. The paper is left to dry in a convenient place, painted the side facing upward. Thus, with thousands of designs and colors emerge details.

If the artist wishes to writing or ornament among these designs, he employs another method. The writing or motif is drawn or scratched on paper. A sharp instrument is used to cut out, and these are then fixed on the marbling paper with a thin glue. The paper is then placed over the paint in the tray as described above. After the marbling design on paper has dried, the patterns that have stuck fine on paper are removed, leaving an empty space. This method was discovered by the calligraphy and the leading exponent of the veteadotes was Necmeddin Okyay (1883-1976), so that way special marbling, known as 'Necmettin Marbling.' There are several varieties of marbling, such as so-called 'large,' 'combed' and 'flowered.'

How to make sculptures with empty egg carton

Let's learn to make sculptures with empty egg cartons.

Things you need:
Empty egg cartons
Boiling hot water
2 Buckets
Putty
Hand Mixie

1. Take the eggs out of carton and tear the tray into small pieces as shown in the image below:

2. Pour the boiling hot water and wait for 12 hours or cook the pieces in boiling water for quick use.

2.1 Cook the pieces for 20 minutes.

3. Use hand mixie to grind the pieces.

4. Stir it properly so that all the pieces will be grinded.

5. Now make a putty paste. The water quantity should be 1/4th of the Putty (or read the instructions on the pack to know how to dilute the putty). You can also add PV glue later.

6. Make sure the mixture should be thick like a cream.

7. Now remove excess water from the grinded pieces. Use some heave object to remove the excess water or use mesh bag as shown in the image below and squeeze.

8. Add putty paste in the squeezed heap of pieces and mix it well.

9. It is advisable to use it immediately because after some time it will start drying out.

10. That's how it should look after mixing putty and pieces together.

11. Then make wonderful sculptures with this mixture.

12. Isn't that beautiful?

Basket of Clothespins

Things you need:
Empty plastic bucket of paint
Wooden clothespin
Sandpaper
White spirit
Glue/Adhesive
Jute twine
Tissue
Thread for sewing
Embodied Lace
Lining Cloth
Scissors
Wooden beads (for decoration)
Sewing machine

Method:

1. Scratch the side of the bucket with sandpaper and white spirit.

2. Remove the spring of all the clothespins.

3. Glue half part of the clothespin on the side of the bucket.

The steps mentioned below should be followed before gluing the clothespin to the bucket.

4. To make a lining, cut a circle piece of lining fabric equal to the size of the bottom of the bucket.

5. Measure height and circumscription of the bucket.

6. Cut a rectangle piece of the lining fabric according to the measurements and sew it with the bottom circle piece.

7. Sew a lace for decoration. Measure the height of the bucket and sew embroiled lace fabric as shown in the image. The lace should be little longer than the lining piece.

8. To decorate handle of the bucket, wrap jute twine tightly as shown in the image. Refer the second image for more beautification.

9.If you detached the handle for wrapping, attach it again and your basket is ready!

Cut the wrapping paper so there is a 2-inch border that is larger than your box.
Place the box upside down in the center of the wrapping paper.
Fold one end of the wrapping paper to the center of the box and secure with tape.
Place a piece of double-faced tape on the opposite side of the wrapping paper and fold to center of box.
Gently smooth tape to secure wrapping paper.
On one end of the box take the wrapping paper and fold it against the box.
Make a crease on the top and bottom sections of the wrapping paper.
Do the same to the other side.
Fold the top half of the wrapping paper down.
Apply a piece of tape to secure the wrapping paper.
Fold in the edge of the bottom piece of wrapping paper.

5. Glue the cut circle and place biggest size flowers in round. Add Calcutta grass on top of it into small pieces.
6. Glue rose petals. Make a tube shape of rose petal and staple the roll as shown in video.
7. Place and glue the rose petals in round. Add Calcutta grass on top of it into small pieces.
8. Repeat step 5,6 & 7 twice for second and third round.
9. Add Calcutta Grass as final layer.
10. Glue the Kundan button.
11. Turn the flower and glue the lace on the base of the flower, as shown in the video.

3. If someone has consumed poison or toxic, give him as much as basil leaves juice. The effect of poison will be cool down.
Other benefits of basil:

1. It is said that wearing a necklace made with Basil stem keeps the tonsils problem away.

2. Gynecology - for irregular menstruation menses - Boil basil seeds in one glass of water. When half of the water remains, cold it and drink. The period flow will be regular.

3. If you have back pain during menstruation, then take a teaspoon of basil juice.

4. Drink basil juice with 10 gm of rice starch for seven days. Leucorrhoea disease will be cured. Eat only rice with milk during this treatment.

5. Soak basil seeds overnight. Crush in the morning, mix it with sugar and drink it. Leucorrhoea disease will be cured.

6. To improve mental strength, intake basil juice with honey every day. It is a kind of tonic.

7. Intake of a tablespoon honey with crushed basil leaves will also keep you healthy and glowing.

8. Intake of 2-3 tablespoons of basil leaves juice on an empty stomach helps to improve memory.

9. Add basil leaves in water. This water works as tonic.
