1: Click on "Start" in the bottom left corner of the screen.
2: Click on "RUN"
3: Type in "command" and click OK

6: Right-click on "Network Places" or "My Network Places" on your desktop.

9: Double-click on the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" from the list under the "General" tab

To do that you might be creating folder inside folder to hide such files but in todays tutorial i will change this by teaching you a interesting trick to hide files behind images.To hide a file behind a image means that if any one opens that image he will see the image, but to see the hidden file we need to open that image in a specific way. How To Hide File Behind Image ?

1. Select an image to be used for hiding file behind the image.

2. Now select a file to hide behind the image and make it in .RAR format. With the help of the WinRAR.

3. And most important is that paste both the files on desktop. You may do this anywhere instead of desktop if you have some basic understanding of command line.

4. Now open cmd by going to Start > Accessories > Command Prompt and type following commands in it.

cd desktop

5. CD stands for change directory by typing above command you change your directory to desktop. After that type command given below.

Copy /b imagename.jpg + filename.rar finalimage.jpg

Replace imagename.jpg with the name of image you want your file to be hidden behind. Don't forget to add image format (Eg: .jpg,.png,.gif)
Replace filename with name of your file you want to hide. It must be in .rar format.
Finally Replace finalimage.jpg with whatever name you want your final image with hidden files should be. This is the image where your file will be hidden.

6. Now when you will try to open this newly created image it will open as normal image, but to open you hidden file you need follow steps given below.

To access your hidden file you need to open the newly created image in winrar. Just follow simple steps given below to do that.

In this tutorial you will learn to use linux terminal. You will learn to navigate on the terminal, learn to create and remove file and much more. Most of this commands also works on Mac Os X and powershell on windows.

What Is Terminal ?

Basically you are reading this tutorial because you are new to linux or want to learn using terminal to navigate. Before you get started you must have linux installed or running virtually on your computer. I would recommend downloading fedora or ubuntu (If you have trouble installing ubuntu leave a comment below and i will post a tutorial).

Commands To Remember

This are some of commands you must remember which will help you to use terminal more easily.
ls - it will list all files and folder in your current directory
ls -l it will give detailt listing of all files and folders
ls -a it will list all files and folder in your current directory including hidden files (files and folders that begin with period)
pwd will print your working directory or simply your current directory

Navigating In Terminal

Here i may refer folder as directory so dont get confused. This is the term we use in linux for folders.

cd - cd stands for change directory. we use cd follow by path address to navigate ro that folder.
Eg: cd Desktop will make desktop as my current directory.
cd / will make root as you current directory
cd ~ will make home as your current directory
Typing cd alone is same as cd ~ and it will make home as your current directory
cd .. will make parent directory i.e directory above your current directory
cd ../../ will take you two folder up

Creating Files And Folder

mkdir - we use mkdir follow by path or folder name to create a directory
Eg mkdir car will create directory car in your current directory
to create folder recursively i.e folder inside folder inside folder we use -p flag
Eg mkdir -p vehicles/car/truck will create directory vehicles in your current directory which have car inside it and car has directory truck in it.

touch - we use touch follow by file name to create empty file.

Removing Files And Folders

rmdir - we use rmdir follow by path to to remove any directory. This will not work if folder you are trying to remove has something in it.
rm -r to remove file recursively which can not be removed by rmdir
rm - We use this command to remove files

How to Reset Your Mac Password (with or without CD) - ARZWORLD

So you forgot your Mac password… uh oh. Don’t worry, it happens and you aren’t out of luck. You’ll need to reset the forgotten password and there’s several ways to do this, we’ll focus on the three best methods; the first is dirt simple and will utilize the Apple ID (yes, the same on you use for iTunes and App Store purchases), the second method is a hack of sorts and does not require a Mac OS X recovery drive or CD and is guaranteed to be effective, and the third trick is fairly simple but it requires either a Mac OS X DVD, boot disk, or Recovery mode partition to use. Use whichever method works for your situation, but whichever method you choose you will have your password reset and gain access to your stuff again.

Resetting Lost Mac Passwords with Apple ID

This is the best approach for Mac users running new versions of OS X (Yosemite, Mavericks, Mountain Lion, and Lion) because it’s extremely fast and simple. The only requirements are that you must have tied an Apple ID to a user account, and you must have internet access so that the Mac can contact Apple to initiate the reset procedure.

From the Mac login or boot screen, enter any wrong password three times to summon the “Password Hint” box and a message saying “If you forgot your password you can reset it using your Apple ID”… click on that (>) arrow icon to start the Apple ID based reset
Enter the Apple ID credentials, this is the same information used to log into the App Store, iTunes, and iCloud, then click “Reset Password”
Confirm the new password and let the Mac boot as usual

That was easy, right? Indeed, the Apple ID password option is the fastest and simplest method available to Mac users, and when that option is available it’s the preferential method. But what if you don’t have an Apple ID attached to the Mac account? Or what if you don’t remember that password either, or if there’s no internet access? If you find yourself in a situation where the Apple ID approach is not possible, don’t worry, because that’s what we’ll cover next.

Reset Mac Password – without a CD or Boot Drive

Using a pretty nifty trick you can reset a forgotten Mac password without a Mac OS X installer CD/DVD or any kind of boot drive or recovery partiton, and without having an Apple ID. This is basically the be-all-end-all approach if nothing else works, because it’s guaranteed to get you back into a Mac when the other options are available, and it works in literally all versions of OS X. The steps may seem a little intimidating at first but I assure you it’s easy if you follow them exactly, here is exactly how to do this in three stages:

Stage 1) Boot into Single User Mode and remove a setup file

Restart the Mac holding down the Command+S keys, this will take you into Single User Mode and it’s Terminal interface
You’ll need to check the filesystem first:

fsck -fy

Next, you must mount the root drive as writeable so that changes will save:

mount -uw /

Now, type the following command exactly, followed by the enter key:

rm /var/db/.applesetupdone

After removing the applesetupdone file, you need to reboot, type ‘reboot’ and hit enter

Stage 2) Create a New User Account upon System Boot
You aren’t finished, but the hard part is now over – no more command lines, you’ll now be in the familiar Mac OS X GUI to finish the password reset process. In this step we just create a new user account as if you just got a new Mac:

Upon reboot, you will be presented with the traditional “Welcome Wizard” startup screen just like when you first get a Mac
Follow the welcome wizard and create a new user account – making the account name different from the account whose password you want to recover
Continue on and boot into Mac OS X with this newly created user account, this new user account is an Administrator and has administrative access

Stage 3) Reset the Forgot Password via System Preferences
You are almost done, now you just need to reset the forgotten user account password using the Accounts control panel:

Once you are booted into Mac OS X, click on the Apple logo and then navigate down to “System Preferences”
Click on the “Accounts” icon in System Preferences
Click on the Lock icon in the lower left corner of the “Accounts” preference window and enter the newly created user credentials, this enables you to change other user accounts and reset other users passwords
On the left side user panel, select the user account containing the forgotten password
With the user of the forgotten password account selected, click on the “Reset Password” button
Enter a new password for that user, be sure to include a meaningful hint so you don’t forget it again!
Close System Preferences and reboot the Mac
You can now login to the previously inaccessible user account using the newly reset password! All user files and settings are maintained as before the password was forgotten

Optional: If you’d like, you can delete the temporary account you created to reset the users password. This is wise for security purposes.

Here’s how this works: by deleting the .applesetupdone file, you are telling Mac OS X to re-run the setup wizard, which by default creates a new user account with Administrative abilities, which can then reset the forgotten password of any other user on the Mac. This is a great trick and excellent troubleshooting technique if you don’t have a Mac OS X installer CD/DVD laying around, which is pretty much the norm as many people tend to lose or misplace the installer disks that come with their computers. I have used this exact method multiple times to restore various Macs with forgotten/lost passwords.

Reset Mac Password – with installer CD/DVD, boot drive, or Recovery Mode Partition

Resetting a forgotten Mac password is pretty easy if you have an installer disk, drive, or the recovery partition handy, which method you use here will depend on the version of OS X the Mac is running.

For OS X Mavericks (10.9), Mountain Lion (10.8), and Lion (10.7) with Recovery Mode:

Boot into the Mac OS X boot loader menu by holding down the OPTION key at system start
Choose the Recovery drive to boot into recovery mode and wait until the “Utilities” screen appears
Pull down the “Utilities” menu and choose “Terminal”
At the command line, type “resetpassword” without the quotes
Confirm the new account password, then reboot the Mac as usual

For Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6), Leopard (10.5), and before with install DVD/CD:

Insert the bootable DVD into the Mac and restart or start the computer
Boot the disk by holding down the “C” key at system start
Select your language preferences and then under the “Utilities” menu select “Password Reset” (it may say “Reset Password” instead, depends on the version of Mac OS X)
Select the hard disk that the forgotten password is on, then select the username of the forgotten password, you’ll then be asked to select a new password
Reboot as usual from the hard drive, using your newly reset password as the login!

These boot menu methods are obviously easier than the #2 manual trick, but whether or not they will work for your depends on if you have a recovery partition (all new Macs do), or with older Macs, if you have a DVD installer laying around. Because we’ve covered solutions for every possible situation though, one of these options will work for you to reset that password and be using the Mac again.

Any time that you are away from your computer, it’s a good idea to lock the screen. This provides a level of privacy and security to the Mac that is very easy to use and implement and it should be considered a must-use trick, particularly for anyone working in public spaces, offices, schools, or anywhere else that there is potential of an outside party accessing the computer. The fastest way to lock the screen of any Mac OS X computer is to use a simple keyboard shortcut.

We’ll walk through exactly how to set up the lock screen feature and show you the keystrokes to use to instantly lock the Mac, thereby requiring a password to be entered before the machine can be used again.

Enable the Lock Screen in Mac OS X

To use the lock screen keyboard shortcuts you first must enable the lock screen ability in OS X. With this enabled, you can then lock down the Mac instantly and require a password for it to be usable again. Here’s how to enable the lock screen in Mac OS X:

Launch System Preferences, found in the  Apple menu
Click on “Security & Privacy” and look under the “General” tab
Click the checkbox next to “Require password after sleep or screen saver begins” – from the drop down menu select either “immediately” or “5 seconds” as the time interval to require the password
Exit out of System Preferences

This password locking setting exists on all versions of Mac OS X:

You can easily confirm the setting is now functioning by hitting the locking keystrokes for your Mac model, which will make the screen go black instantaneously.

Lock a Mac Screen with Keystrokes

Now that OS X screen locking is enabled, you can lock down the screen with a few simple keyboard shortcuts:

Control+Shift+Eject is the keystroke for Macs with an Eject key, and for external keyboards
Control+Shift+Power is the keystroke for Macs without the eject key, like the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro Retina

Hit the appropriate key combination for your Mac model and the Macs screen will instantly go dark, thereby locking it and requiring a user to enter a password before the computer can be accessed again. The lock screen will look something like this, with an image of the user account avatar and a password field:

If you chose the immediate option in Security preferences, then you will need to enter the user password before being able to use the Mac again, the option to wait 5 seconds gives you a few seconds of allowance before requiring the password, which may be more desirable in some situations. You’ll probably have noticed that other choices are available in the timing, but realistically anything higher than a minute starts to lose it’s security benefits, thus the shorter times are most desirable for optimal security and privacy purposes.

The Mac OS X lock screen is the same as what you see when you wake a Mac from sleep or a screensaver when this feature is enabled, so remember that if you use a screensaver that auto-activates or sleep your Mac regularly, you’ll also be entering your password when it is woken.

Locking the Screen through Hot Corners

You can also lock down the screen of Mac OS X by using Hot Corners, which lets you drag the mouse cursor into a corner of the screen and initiate either the screen saver, or, much like the keystrokes above, turn the display black. Either will require a password to unlock the Mac and use it again. Setting up Hot Corners for this purpose is really easy, just be sure to have already enabled the “Require password” setting that we mentioned above:

In System Preferences, go to “Mission Control” and click the “Hot Corners” button in the lower corner
Choose the hot corner you wish to associate with the locking feature (lower right is my preference) and then choose “Put display to sleep” or “Start Screen Saver” – either method will require password entry to regain access.

Now you can test this out by dragging the cursor into the hot corner you just set. The display sleep method turns the screen black, while the other begins whatever screen saver is set. Assuming you set “Immediately” as the initial password requirement, any motion of the mouse will summon the login screen and require proper login credentials to unlock the Mac again.

Remember: Always Lock the Mac when Away

It doesn’t matter which method you use to actually lock down the screen, just make it a habit. This is highly recommended to enable on any Mac, but particularly for those in offices, schools, public places, and any other environment where you may have sensitive data on your machine that you want to keep from prying eyes. Another very worthwhile endeavor is to add a login message to Mac OS X, which can include things like identifying information of the Mac, or better yet, ownership details like a name, email address, or phone number.

Note: This feature exists in all versions of Mac OS X, including OS X Mavericks, Mountain Lion, Lion, Snow Leopard, and prior. The verbiage is slightly different in earlier versions of Mac OS X, but the setting works the same. Here is what you’ll find in Snow Leopard, for example:

Nonetheless, the setting and keyboard shortcuts are the same regardless of the version of OS X, and the Hot Corner will work as well universally.

Remember the password otherwise you will not be able to easily access the computer. If you do wind up in a situation and happen to forget your Mac password, you can reset it through a few different methods.

How to Use Screen Lock on MacBook Pro with Touch Bar

Locking your Mac screen with password protection when you step away from the computer is always a good idea, but the newer MacBook Pro with Touch Bar models do not support the traditional lock screen keyboard shortcut. This doesn’t mean you can’t lock the screen quickly on a Touch Bar MacBook Pro however, and in fact with a little customization you can actually lock the Touch Bar Mac even faster than one without Touch Bar.

How to Enable Screen Lock Button on MacBook Pro with Touch Bar

The Screen Lock button basically replaces the Mac lock screen keystroke of Control + Shift + Power which is possible on any Macintosh without a Touch Bar. Because Touch Bar Macs do not have a power button however, the Screen Lock Touch button offers a replacement for the same functionality.

Here is how to set up the Screen Lock button on Touch Bar:

1. Go to the  Apple menu and choose “System Preferences” and then go to “Keyboard”

2. Under the “Keyboard” tab choose “Customize Control Strip”

3. Expand the Touch Bar and then drag the “Screen Lock” button into the touch bar screen (drag it down off the Mac display and it will pop up on the Touch Bar)

4. Click on “Done” and exit out of Keyboard preferences, the Screen Lock button is now available on the Mac Touch Bar

Now to perform the equivalent of the old lock screen keystroke, you simply need to tap on the Touch Bar “Screen Lock” button.

I personally like placing the Screen Lock button next to the Siri button on the Touch Bar, since that is vaguely near where the power button used to be anyway, but place it where ever works best for your uses.

The Touch Bar screen lock trick obviously applies only to Macs with a Touch Bar, but other models can still password protect the computer rapidly by using the lock screen on a Mac as described here. Once you get used to having a dedicated (virtual) button for this feature, in many ways it’s better than the old fashioned keystroke option since it’s less work to use and faster.

A quick side note; this walk through is demonstrated with Touche, the virtual Touch Bar, since it makes it easier to do a mock up rather than taking simple screenshots of the Touch Bar on their own.
