Noticed Eric Mun from Que Sera, Sera in 2007. I pretty much like his character here & glad it's a happy ending although this is not my favourite kdrama of 2011. ;)

However, Mishil devised sinister plans to have the two Silla princesses exiled from the kingdom, and in a secretive battle, Princess Cheonmyong was accidentally killed.But Princess Deokman shrewdly enlisted the help of General Kim Yusin and eliminated her archenemy Mishil. She then became Queen Seon Deok, the first female ruler of the Silla kingdom. Ashes: Although there's many war scenes, this is really a nice, beautiful & sad historical kdrama. Especially the part on Deokman & Bidam.Bidam (Kim Nam Gil) is the only character I 'fell' in love in this drama. I remembered him from the kdrama 'Be Strong Geum Soon' where he appeared for only a few episodes and die in an accident in the drama. Didn't expect to see such excellent acting skill by Kim Nam Gil in 'Queen Seon Duk'Let me do a little intro on Kim Nam Gil (김남길/金南佶). He was born on 13 March 1981, height 184cm, weight 70kg & zodiac sign Pisces. Completed his education in Myeong Ji Cheon University. He was previously known as Lee Han (이한). Kim Nam Gil was admitted to the army camp in Nonsan on July 15 for 4 weeks of basic military training and will serve as a public service worker at Gangnam-gu office according to the selective service system. He joined the army after starring in the MBC TV series "Queen Seon Deok" and after his popularity soared in SBS TV Series Bad Guy (나쁜 남자) which I am watching at the moment. ;)According to South Korean media reports, Kim Nam Gil who is currently serving in the armed forces, will be entering as a student in South Korea University of Foreign Studies Department of Chinese Internet Campus. Kim Nam Gil economic official of the company's external message said Kim Nam Gil is admitted and will start his academic semester on March. He will use his extra time while serving the public to learn Chinese.

Ashes: I watch this kdrama all because Hero Kim Jae Joong [김재중] was in it. As the storyplot focus more on Choi Kang Hee [최강희] & Ji Sung [지성], both of them have great chemistry & I really like them as a couple in here. This is a cute & nice kdrama to catch. ;)

Their love for Mi Ri and her tragic ambition eventually leads them down the path of destruction.

Ashes: I checked from various kdrama website & seems that Miss Ripley is based on the real life case of Shin Jung Ah, a university professor and art curator at Dongguk University who was discovered to have forged her creditials in order to get hired, with the help of her boyfriend (then presidential secretary) Byun Yang Kyoon, and embezzled funds from the art gallery's corporate sponsorship.

Such is life. It's pretty sad that sometime we have to tell lies to get through with life but of course not to the extend of going against the law. This kdrama have a nice storyplot & Lee Da Hae [이다해] did a good job in this character.

시티헌터 [城市猎人] starts in 1983. The South Korean president and his delegates are visiting Burma (now Myanmar) when a bomb planted by North Korea explodes, killing some high ranking officials, in a historical event called the Rangoon bombing (also known as the Rangoon incident). To strike back, five South Korean officials plan an underground operation to enter North Korea and kill North Korean agents. Unbeknownst to the South Korean president, Lee Jin-Pyo (Kim Sang Joong) and Park Moo-Yul (Park Sang Min) who work as bodyguards for the Blue House, organize a 21-men troop to execute the plan. However, as the operation was taking place, the five high-ranking officials change their minds, aborting the plan in order to avoid an international crisis if the mission were to be discovered. The major concern is that the United States will withdraw its nuclear protection if the mission is made public.The operation is successful, but as the troops swim to the submarine which is supposed to take them back to South Korea, snipers from the submarine shoot and kill all the troop members, excepting Lee Jin-Pyo, while they are still in the water. An already injured Park Moo-Yul uses his body to shield Jin-Pyo, thus saving his life. As the only survivor of the ambush, Jin-Pyo swims back to shore and returns to South Korea, where he finds out that there are a total of five officials responsible for aborting the operation.

Vowing to avenge his fallen comrades, including his closest and best friend Park Moo Yul, he kidnaps Moo-Yul's son and flees to Southeast Asia's Golden Triangle, specifically the mountainous Burmese-Thai border. He enters the Blue House (South Korean presidential palace) as an IT expert under the National Communication Network Team. He is warned by Jin-Pyo not to trust anyone and not to fall in love, as doing so will put the people around him in danger.

At the Blue House, he meets bodyguard Kim Na-na (Park Min-Young (박민영)). The story of love and revenge begins.

Ashes: City Hunter is an original script based on the world-famous novel by Japan's Tsukasa Hojo. Cool kdrama & I like the storyline. Great chemistry between Lee Min Ho & Park Min-Young. No wonder they fell in love after this kdrama. Keke... Another kdrama that I really like in 2011. ;)

This is so cute!!! What Dokko Jin said in 'Best Love' is REALLY going to happen. Samsung has actually brought Cha Seung-won onboard to guest star in one of Lee Seung-gi's refrigerator CFs. Lee Seung Gi is the main brand model of the CF & he has an entire series of these.

Cha Seung-won hilariously admitted, "Seung-gi is the first man he have ever hugged for a drama or a CF shoot." He added, "Seung-gi has a reputation for being sincere and polite, but he's really like that in person, and seeing such a sincere hoobae has made my attachment grow." AwWww... How cute are they? Hehehe

I got a real SHOCK when I see this news about Lee Min Ho dating Park Min Yeong. I am watching City Hunter at the moment & of course it's great news if both of them are REALLY dating coz both of them looked cute as a couple. ;)

Through an interview by Enews on 23 Aug, Lee Min Ho's official said that the couple have been close since the drama, 시티헌터. They've been going out together for about a month & both of them are showing interest to each other. But they are no official confirmation from both agencies that they're an item. Their agencies said that it's natural if they become friends since they have knew each other for a while, but they are not dating. They actually met just as friends that night as shown below.
Ashes: UPDATES!!! Both Lee Min Ho & Park Min Yeong have confirmed & admitted that they are dating at the moment. Congrates!!!

Cha Seung Won and Gong Hyo Jin were chosen to become the Fifth Angel Cinema actors due to their latest kdrama "The Greatest Love aka Best Love". Angel Cinema work together with Harper's Bazaar to promote movies and actors from Korea to overseas. Sungeum comes back from a convenience store after buying a 5000 won lottery ticket and is then fired by Geonwoo who wants grandma chunjack back. Being kicked out of the townhouse, she shoves her hands into her coat pocket and finds the lottery ticket she bought previously. Much to her surprise, she discovers she won the 10,000,000,000 won lottery!

Ashes: This kdrama shows how 'U.G.L.Y' & greedy human are when such a huge sum of money falls into their hands.

Recently, Cha Seung Won flew to Shanghai to do a photo shoot for Highcut magazine which will be publish on July 21st. The photoshoot took place on eighty years old building (built on 1930) named Tyenjepang on Nanjing road, used to be a studio film location.Don't you find this forty-one year old guy so DARN hot & sexy?
I simply loved the tattoos on his body & of course his 'SEXY' 소 (cow) moustache. ;) These days, I am trying very hard (REAL HARD) to find time to watch 'Athena:Goddess of War' & 'City Hall'. =)

Ashes: Nice! Nice! Nice! This is the BEST Kdrama in 2011 which I really REALLY really like. Cha Seung Won [차승원]'s character as Dokko Jin is so darn cute & charming. I didn't expect he could be so cute & attractive. You'll just simply fall heads over heels in love with his character. And, I still prefer him having his 소 (cow) moustache though. Haha... Cha Seung Won [차승원], definitely a GREAT actor! Last but not least, great chemistry between Gong Hyo Jin & Cha Seung Won. ;)

Ashes: I was attracted to the 1st few episodes of Manny but was pretty disapointed with the storyline of the last few episodes.

Nevertheless, the OST by 5tion (오션) - Love Made In Heaven (하늘이 준 사랑) was nice though ;)

49일 [49天], A young woman named Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri [남규리]) was enjoying absolute bliss as she was about to be married with her fiancé, but her perfect life is shattered in a car accident that left her in a coma.She is given a second chance at life by a reaper, but it comes with a condition: she has to find three people outside of her family who would cry genuine tears for her. In order to do this, she borrows the body of Yi Kyung (Lee Yo-won [이요원]), a part-time employee at a convenience store.

Ashes: Woohoo! 49 Days has come to an end & I must say this is one of my favourite kdrama for 2011.

The Scheduler (Jung Il Woo [정일우]) is a darn cutie pie while Han Kang aka Han-ah(Jo Hyun Jae [조현재]) just made you 'fall in love' with his character. ;)

Hmmm... ... ... Should I catch 'City Hunter' next week? *thinking*thinking* Keke...
