Charlie & Sam care deeply about their friends and their community. Their Brisbane wedding reflected this in so many beautiful ways. From their loved filled ceremony at West End Uniting Church, to their reception at Morningside School of arts and plenty of quality time with their loved ones throughout. They created a memorable day filled with love and acceptance, and free of gendered expectations.

They kicked things off in West End with some relaxed, fun portraits which celebrated how madly in love these two gorgeous souls are. It also meant they spent more time with all their guests later on—partying into the night with all their favourite humans. Have a peek at their story!

DAY TWO

For their day two celebrations, Renee & Heath asked their 200 guests to dress for a festival rather than a wedding. They wanted bright colour, sparkle (there was a glitter station for those needing a top up) and non-stop good times. The result? A vibrant, joy filled celebration and an abundance of love. Renee and Heath opted to have most of their photos before greeting their guests for a picnic gathering. When it was ceremony time, they led everyone in a dancing, singing parade through the freshly harvested fields. Vows were exchanged under a lone tree, and another was planted to seal the deal. And what followed? Dinner, and possibly the most epic dance floor ever…

Ash and Tom’s wedding was so beautifully relaxed, fun and full of love. Their day was all about family and friends, who gathered close to witness them exchange sincere vows — then party the evening away together. And what a party! Under sparkling lights and lanterns, with bellies full of wood fired pizza, they celebrated hard. There was laughter, raffled meat trays, musical friends and some of the funniest, heartfelt speeches ever.

Angie and Jesse had one of those heart filling celebrations I adore so much. Getting ready together surrounded by their best mates and closest family made the morning so special and fun - especially with their crew all staying on site with them. 

They tied the knot down the road at the old Pearces Creek Hall, then partied on back at the Eltham Pub – complete with raucous pub trivia and spontaneous dancing. Their whole day was filled with so much love, joy and fun, it truly captured their personalities.

Emma and Albert kicked off their perfect wedding day with a relaxed first look in the backyard of an Airbnb. They read private vows to each other and shared tears, kisses and champagne. A gorgeous ceremony was held in the shade of a Macadamia grove with loved ones looking on proudly – followed by feasting, dancing and a sneaky thunderstorm at Three Blue Ducks. Here is their story…

Rhi & Josh wanted to share one of their favourite places, with some of their favourite people. So winter in spectacular Wanaka, New Zealand was the backdrop to their cosy, intimate wedding.

After 12 years together Josh proposed with the help of their 2 year old, Maggie, who was securely in the spot light all day for their wedding!

Jac & Dan were keen for me to capture everything completely candid, so we had no schedules, no portrait sessions and no shot list. Just total freedom for them to enjoy their time together with their favourite people, and freedom for me to capture all the magic as it naturally unfolded. I spent three days with this fabulous bunch of humans documenting all the love, joy and good times. It’s a real miracle I was able to make this a single blog post!

I’ve kicked things off with my travel through Nice, then into the beautiful countryside of Orgon, Provence and to Le Mas De La Rose… enjoy.

These two gorgeous (and hilarious) humans are the absolute best. Their wedding tossed out all formalities and tradition that was not important to them and focussed on a good time with their favourite people (and dog). And what a good time it was!

I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Erin for a number of years at weddings. She’s one of the best wedding celebrants around, and these days a wonderful friend. So I was very honoured to be the one to photograph her and Nick’s wedding.

We kicked off their day with a first look, involving beer, chips and a sneaky cocktail in The Valley. Family met us at the venue soon after for some fun family group photos, which meant Erin and Nick were free to enjoy their ceremony and party time without any time away from guests! Please also note the fabulous surprise earring change after their ceremony… Erin had a pair custom made by Doodad and Fandango featuring a portrait of Nick.
