Hrithik simply can’t stop raving about Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the script that he written for his film and of course his role in it. This will be Hrithik’s first venture with the Black director. Hrithik has seen Bhansali’s earlier works and is keen to work with him. Bhansali is also looking forward to work with Hrithik as well. It is going to be a hat-trick for Bhansali as well as this will be his third venture with Aishwarya Rai after Devdas.

Bhansali was in Goa recently finalizing locales for the film. The film will be Bhansali’s directorial venture after Saawariya. Meanwhile Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next prodcution venture Chenab Gandhi is all set to go on floors in Mumbai very soon. Bhansali’s assistant Vibhu Puri will direct the film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan and Hurman S. Baweja.

Bhansali and his Black writer Bhavani Iyer have written the film. The plot revolves around three characters. It is learnt that Chenab Gandhi is inspired by the story of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, India’s freedom fighter who was known as the Frontier Gandhi. Bachchan will be playing the principle character in the film.

Ash who has a 10- minute role in the movie starring Steve Martin, has looked stunning in her well cut gowns.

In Berlin, Ash was seen braving the chill in a pink dress with a heart-shaped sequined bodice hugging her slender frame.

And she didn’t just pose for the shutter bugs; she even took out time to talk about the film that’s sweeping all the awards Slumdog Millionaire.
“Good luck to the entire team. It has received so much appreciation of course based in India. There’s a lot of Indian talent in it. Rahman has won his Golden Globe and he’s a wonderfully talented musician. It’s wonderful to see the world wake up to his talent,” says Aishwarya.

Hubby Abhishek Bachchan was however naughty in his comments on Ash’ s new movie, “We were at the premiere of Pink Panther 2 and it was great fun. It s a hilarious film. Steve Martin is a genius. I am very jealous of Ash. He is someone I have been idolizing when I was growing up. And Ash gets the opportunity to work with the likes of Steve Martin and Jeremy Irons!”

Poor Abhishek Bachchan is the only one remaining who hasn’t won. Abhishek Bachchan was not present beside his wife when she received the award. He was shooting in Orcha near Jhansi, but he did send her a beautiful bouquet of flowers, as did her father-in-law. Aww… that’s so sweet! The Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute (KDAH) is a massive feat that is going to help countless people that reside in the area. The private hospital has over one hundred outpatient departments, about a hundred and fifteen intensive care units, and seven hundred and thirty beds. These are incredibly staggering numbers, a doctor at the new hospital told sources “The KDAH will not only help save time for patients travelling from far flung places in the suburbs, but also enable quicker treatment without a waiting list as is prevalent in some of the other big hospitals.”

With the addition of a research facility and medical services available twenty four hours a day, it seems like a great addition for the community. We are especially glad to see that the Bachchans made it out for the event. We are sure their support was greatly appreciated by the hospitals doctors and staff, as Amitabh Bachchan responded to KDAH ”I chose to be treated in several hospitals of the city, even though I could have gone abroad. I think our doctors are equally competent and I find this hospital as one of the best in world.”

But before that she goes into filmmaker Vipul Shah’s next film with Akshay Kumar in the lead. Both Vipul and Akshay, who are co-producing the film, were very keen to get Aishwarya for what they describe as a genre-breaking drama.

Aishwarya has also signed up Excel Entertainment’s untitled thriller to be directed by Abhinay Deo, who is currently busy shooting his directorial debut Delhi Belly. For the film, Aishwarya will once again team up with hubby Abhishek.

Confirming the news, Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment said: “It would be a very stylish thriller to be shot entirely in Greece, Thailand, Istanbul and London.

“My director Abhinay Deo and I want a particular look for the film. We’re trying to get the DOP (director of photography) of the new Nike international commercial. If not, there’s Jason West who shot our Rock On!. He can capture that subtle sleek look which the subject demands. We want the film’s visual quality to be something never experienced by our audience.”

After Ravan and Sarkar Raj this will be Ash’s third film with Abhishek post marriage.

Meanwhile the producer-director is going on in full swing  with his forthcoming venture London Dreams at Chandigarh. The director is busy wrapping up the shoot with Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan and Asin in the lead and  has planned to release the film on August 14.

Incidentally Vipul Shah’s last release Singh Is King starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif was the biggest box office success. Vipul believes that the August month is favorable to him, especially the independence day. Hence he has set the date in advance for his on August 14.

Aishwarya Rai’s first release this year isn’t a Bollywood film, neither is it a regional film. It is in fact the much awaited Hollywood film The Pink Panther 2. This sequel to the 2006 successful film The Pink Panther releases across cinemas in the US on Feb 6, 2009. The film is slated to release in India on Feb 20.

In the film, Aishwarya Rai would be seen sharing screen space with Hollywood legends such as Steve Martin, Andy Garcia, Jean Reno, John Cleese and Alfred Molina. The Pink Panther series narrates the adventures of bumbling detective Insp. Jacques Clouseau played hilariously by Steve Martin. This time round, he is on a mission to stop a globe-trotting thief who specializes in stealing historic artifacts. Aishwarya’s character in the film is called Sonia.

This is not Aishwarya’s first attempt at being part of a Hollywood film. In fact, the Bollywood beauty and former Miss World is one of the few Indian actresses who has featured in many international productions such as Bride & Prejudice, The Mistress Of Spices, Provoked and The Last Legion.

While Ash did manage to get her fair share of attention with some of these films, she would surely be hoping to get even more international fame and worldwide recognition with The Pink Panther 2.

If all goes well, she could contest in the forthcoming parliamentary elections that are due in a couple of months.

Now we all know that Bachchan’s have a strong connection with the Samajwadi Party and that Amar Singh is a close family friend.

Ash’s mum-in-law Jaya Bachchan is currently a member of the Parliament on the Samajwadi ticket. The party is trying to rope in other B-town candidates and field them against top politicians.

Sanjay Dutt could contest against the former Prime Minister Vajpayee from the Lucknow constituency.
