The founder of Chrysler Motors once said the reason so many people never get anywhere in life is because when opportunity knocks, they are out in the backyard looking for four-leaf clovers. Sure, we all do a little four-leaf clover hunting now and then. But when I decided to stop wishing and start building my career I discovered that running a successful business was very much within my reach.

I don't have a fancy degree. My IQ is average. My talents are ordinary. My dad isn't rich. But, I run my own business and make a good living because of three things:

-    The power of the Internet.
-    The right tools and support.
-    Persistence.

I discovered that through the Internet I can reach thousands of people all over the world to market my business. I learned about simple Internet tools that actually build my business for me! And I found out the key to my Internet success isn't about talent, it's about persistence.

If you are ready to build your personal income, if you aren't afraid to color outside the lines of traditional business, if you have persistence--then it's time to stop wishing and start letting the Internet work for you!

Why are so many smart people choosing the Internet market as a career? It's the money, stupid! Think about it. When it comes to what you do for living, your earning potential has to rate pretty high on the list--unless you want to live on Spam sandwiches! But there's more to it than that. People are choosing Internet businesses because:

You don't need special talent or training to succeed.

You can make VERY GOOD MONEY.

-    You can be in charge.
        You can make VERY GOOD MONEY.

-    You can grow your business at your own speed.

The best thing is that you can start right now! You don't need to quit your day job--but you may decide to. When I chose to start my own business as an online entrepreneur I quickly found out that I can make more money than some of my friends who slave away in the traditional business world.

When I was teaching a business seminar a few weeks ago I said this to over 1000+ attendees...

Let me first ask you this question, do you know who I am? Well if you have been coming to my blog over the past few years you may have "Google Me". See over past few weeks I am been Googled thousand of times and the interesting thing that I have found out is that people are looking for me to find out who I am and what I am doing. They have Googled:

Ask Jim Cobb
Google Me Talk Radio
Or one of the project or joint ventures that I am involved in

So let me ask you this. Do you people know who you are? Your branding is the most important thing you could do for yourself if you want exposure, huge exposure.

I was speaking to my friend Michael McGranahan last night and that is how he found me and we become friend and now are involved in several joint ventures. I was contacted by Brian Hafen of G5nexus and he Googled Me to learn more about me and now I am a part of their team. I am also involved in a weight loss program and everyone there is Googling me to find out about my on going weight loss.

See what I am find out that more and more people are Googling other people. Each of the people are looking for more information. Those who are Googling your name are look for you. Step up and get on top of Google fast before you miss the rush and secure you good name.

Seniors Are Narrowing the Generation Gap

There's a new opportunity emerging for online marketers. According to a study by Pew Internet & American Life Project, about nine out of 10 US consumers ages 12 to 24 use the Internet. While that is not surprising, it was surprising that more than 50 percent of people between the ages of 65 to 69 are online as well, and Internet-using 70-to-74-year-olds make up 45 percent of people that age that are online.

Pew noted that the biggest increase in Internet use since 2005 was in the 70-to-75-year-old age group; just over one-quarter of them were online in 2005. Read the full article:
