=============================
GOOD BYE VEGAS, HELLO ARIZONA
=============================

This week, my family moved from Las Vegas to Phoenix, Arizona. I have
my wife’s side of family here and always wanted to move close to my
in-laws. I am happy to be close to them since all of my side of family
still lives in Japan.

=================================
MRR:TRAFFIC GENERATION PRINCIPLES
=================================

I am adding a Master Resale Rights to Traffic Generation Principles.
It’s a unique product where you must upload the index PHP file to
view the video directly from the product creator’s server.

I have never seen a product set up like this before, but this way you save
your bandwidth. So when you upzip the file, you’ll see two PHP files and
unless they’re uploaded on your server, they won’t play just so you know.
>> http://www.asktak.com/reports/tgp.zip

You can also give them away and build lists or do whatever license
allows you inside.

=============================
WHERE CAN YOU FIND PRODUCTS?
=============================

I am going to let you in know something I believe it will truly help your
business this week.

One of the most FAQs people ask is where you can download products to
give away?

One of the websites that I have been going for a long time is
>> http://master-resale-rights.com/

If you look at the middle of the page, you notice they’re giving away
TRAFFIC GENERATION PRINCIPLES this week. No opt-in required, just
download — do you see it?

Every week, this website gives away products. Most of these products
come with licenses that you can also give away to your subscribers.

I then upload onto my server, give the link to my subscribers and this
way, I can give away fresh products without always having to pay for them.

Not bad huh?

I also buy lots of PLR products from this site and convert them into
my own products. 1) You can buy a set of PLR videos for $10, make 2) new
graphic for the product for $15-$75, 3) rename and resell under different
look.

=================================================
SHARING BUSINESS STRATEGIES WITH YOUR SUBSCRIBERS
=================================================

The reason why I am uncovering the business structure with you is I realize
this is what most people want to know. Learning how to build a list,
uploading WordPress, creating reports… they all boil down to one
thing, business building.

It’s nice watching what other people do to market themselves, but
most people hold those details private. As if they revealed it, it
could create competition.

I on the other hand believe competition is a good thing. It really
raises the bar for everyone and the market becomes a fair and interesting
place. So if you’re good at creating video, you can market the same
business strategies you take to build your video producing business and
people will praise you for it. You can charge it if you like, but just
don’t hold anything back.

I learned this from my Network Marketing days. The reason why people
were subscribing… was NOT necessarily they were interested in what I
had to say. But they were trying to see what I did to run the
the type of marketing I used.

As long as I marketed the actual how to, I made more than I did from my
actual Network Marketing business.

======================
WHEN DO YOU SELL THEN?
======================

A lot of people ask me this - if you just giveaway stuff,
when do you sell?

You can profit from three ways. They are for long term though.

1. I sell my own product — rather than focusing so much on affiliate
marketing, once you begin marketing your own products, it’ll outdo
other people’s products so many times more.

As long as your list is growing, people will always buy your products.
Many will become repeat customers and every time you launch something
new, they’ll buy more from you.

For whatever reason, people resist less to your products, but they
reject a lot to affiliate promotion.

I think it comes down to “People love to buy, but hate being sold”. I
think you’re more forgiven when you’re selling your stuff.

2. I profit fine from marketing low priced items. Once again, as long
as your list is growing, even if you’re just selling $5 product, if
1% of 5000 buy from you, you just earned $250 from one promotion. Any
any decent email marketing should do more than 1% conversion.

How easy is that? How often you should promote to your list depends
on your goal, but if you promote every time, you might lose persuasion
since your message gets fragmented — people won’t know if you’re an SEO
guy, Article Marketing guy or Forex girl because you might be promoting
everything under the sun. Soon your newsletter starts sounding like
everyone else’ and ends up being mediocre.

3. I sell when I say “BUT THIS!” - this might sound interesting to
you but when I really mean someone should buy something and I say it
in my newsletter, a lot of people buy it without even reading the
proceeding salescopy. This has to do with the level of confidence people
have with you but, for example, if Paul Myers tells me to go buy something,
I’ll more likely have it on my hard drive the next day.

Same thing happens when you begin building deep relationship with your
customers and subscribers. It’s powerful.

======================================
DON’T WORRY, BE CRAPPY — GUY KAWASAKI
======================================

Marketing Consultant Guy Kawasaki said this once, “Don’t Worry, Be Crappy”.

You might feel today you don’t have a lot to offer, but bad promotion
is better than zero promotion.

Kind of like playing sports, until you actually begin playing,
you don’t know what to improve on and same thing happens with things like
list building and any other IM stuff.

If you have been thinking about doing something, do it today, don’t wait
for tomorrow.

==================================================
BE SENSITIVE TO OTHERS WHEN TALKING ABOUT POLITICS
==================================================

A lot of discussions are taking place right now in America about
political issues and many people love voicing opinions.

I was a Poli Sci major in college and enjoy politics but I keep my
opinions to myself when it comes to current events.

I believe in having definite set of beliefs, but also respecting
what other people believe. Talking carelessly about politics divides
people instead of unites people, so be sensitive about those around you,
at work, at business, at public online forums.

JAMES BROWN IS GETTING MARRIED
==============================

The following link isn’t my affiliate link, it’s
for a good cause.

First news is about my friend James Brown who lives in
Fukushima, Japan (very city I was born…).

Unlike me who married an American, he is an Australian
import to Japan, marrying a local Japanese girl.

He is having a good sale for MRR/PLR products to raise
money for wedding.

It also comes with 5 unadvertised PLR ebooks, which
I grabbed it (to give it to you sometime).

Can you help him out? The sale ends on the 28th.

link>> http://ourweddingsale.com/

HURRICANE IKE HITS TEXAS COAST
==============================

The next link isn’t my link either, and to be honest,
I haven’t even met Xavier Nelson.

But I hear he is trying to get his things together
after Hurricane Ike devastated his city.

I saw his collection of MRR/PLR products REALLY CHEAP
on this website and thought hey you might like them too.

So it’s for a good cause and Xavier earns a space in my
newsletter.

RAPID ACTION PROFITS SCRIPT $47 DISCOUNT COUPON CODE
====================================================

The following IS MY reseller link. You can’t just
be an affiliate for this product, but must be a
purchaser who is authorized to resell.

Well, Rapid Action Profits (RAP) has become the web’s
most popular script since last year because with RAP
you can do pretty much anything you want.

I use this script to payout affiliates immediately,
set 50% to pay commission immediately, build lists,
add a coupon code… just about anything you can think
of.

And it’s RAP’s one year anniversary and Sid Hale, the
owner of the script is giving $47 off for the next
7 days if you use the following link.

Take a look at the most popular script of the year.

(My reseller link with $47 discount code already added)
TIP OF THE WEEK
===============

If you’re not using an email account with own domain,
use only GMAIL to avoid email bounce when someone is
trying to reply to you. In the past if you haven’t
received an email back from product creator or marketer
when you asked a question, it could be you’re using
a Yahoo account (or whatever free) and his/her email
bounced back without you knowing.

To avoid this, I use help desk http://asktak.com/support
(you can download it here http://www.osticket.com/)

Help Desk is less personal, but for billing inquiry is
probably more efficient way to cover all bases.

The parcel finally came a week ago. Instead of CDs which I’ve ordered, it was a pair of bra and pantie. Not to mention the embarrassment when I opened it up in front of my wife

Annoyed, I raised a dispute in Paypal.

Paypal closed the case in favour of the merchant. Reason : They will refund only if there is no shipment. They (Paypal) do not issue refund on discrepancy and/or quality of the shipped product.

So this merchant exploited Paypal’s “loophole” by sending a low-cost item for the sake of shipment proof to scam buyers like us.

Are we still safe as buyers?

The following is NOT an affiliate link to Eben’s product.

But direct link to a video which will help you become
more productive everyday.

http://www.wakeupproductiveblog.com/2008/09/time-mgmt.php

I KNOW your time is valuable and if you’re like me,
you don’t always have time to watch 30 min video.

So here is the breakdown and hopefully it should summarize
why I think this video can give you great impact.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++

4:00 minutes into the video.

Eben brings up an interesting point — he said mutli
tasking is BAD and single focus tasking is what we should
be doing. I like it because this goes against the
conventional wisdom like we are all told to do when we
work for someone else.

Did you know multi tasking lowers IQ than smoking marijuana?

I didn’t know it but he quotes it.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

4:30 min into the video.

Eben says once you’re distracted, it’ll take about 20 min
before getting back to before you were distracted.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

13:13 min into the video.

Eben brings up FOUR things we can do now to increase
our productivity.

That is

1. Clean Focus - block out uninterrupted time minimum of 2 hours
2. Clean Breaks - then go take a break

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

17:50 min into the video.

3. Routine - doing something important the same time of the day

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

18:20 min into the video.

4. Renew Yourself - you have to watch it, please.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

20:00 min into the video.

This is where he starts talking about IM related stuff.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

25:45 min into the video.

How to start a day - I followed it today and felt really GOOD!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

30:50 min into the video

He said to start working on at least ONE pillar of your
business and I think he said minimum of four hours.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Man, it was a good video to watch. I recommend you
watching this when you’re “uninterrupted”.

The only thing Eben didn’t explain was why he decided to
wear pink shirts for this recording.

He must be from New York or something.

Anyway, I hope these notes will help you decide whether
or not you should spend 30 minutes watching this video.

I think it’s really worth your time — 351 comments
and growing.

I just wanted to send you a quick message today.

I just purchased a Master Resale Rights for Adeel
Chowdhry’s new ebook.

I originally purchased it with an intent to market, but
for you as a subscriber, I’m just going to give it
to you.

Here is the download link for ebook (Download Begins Automatically).
>> http://asktak.com/reports/asebookonly.zip (687 KB)

and here is the download link for the Reseller pack (Download Begins Automatically).

>> REMOVED (Available Only for LIST SUBSCRIBERS)

++++++++++++++

The reason I wanted to get this to you is when I first
began marketing online as an affiliate, I added bonuses
to build greater value in an affiliate offer.

This works especially great when you have a list.

A launch comes out, your list knows about it, they want
to purchase from someone and you offer nice bonuses.

Then I began making more money repeating it.

++++++++++++++

It’s easy to do because all you have to do is show them
links saying, “If you go to this website, this product
is sold at $27, but you can get it from me” and
actually have visitors go to such websites and let them
realize that they’re getting a better deal.

Make sense? Just double check your rights come with
not only Master Resale Rights (MRR) and also Giveaway
rights otherwise you can’t just give away without the
permission from the product owner.

I already emailed Adeel and said he is fine with me doing
this.

So here is the download links again.

Ebook link
>> http://asktak.com/reports/asebookonly.zip (687 KB)

Reseller pack link
>> REMOVED (Available Only for LIST SUBSCRIBERS)

You can have both or either one. But if you download
the reseller pack, you can customize the website.

++++++++++++++++

But here is one problem when you do this to build
“Email List” with a product like this.

The problem is, when you give away a product that belongs
to someone else, you’re only building brand for that
marketer instead of your own. And as long as you’re
promoting someone else’, you really won’t become
super great at Internet Marketing.

So how do you overcome this???

I have a solution…

You can giveaway classic like Napoleon Hill’s
“Think and Grow Rich”.

Here is the download link

>> http://www.takuyahikichi.com/thinkandgrowrich.pdf

You see, this way, you’re not building brand for anyone
other than you. And giving away classic books like this
is a good incentive for list building.

So let’s recap this.

1. You obtain products to giveaway or come up with your
own (See >> http://www.minireportcreationguide.com )

2. If you have to giveaway someone else’ product to
build a list, you stick with ones that DOES NOT dilute
your brand (such as Think and Grow Rich)
>> http://www.takuyahikichi.com/thinkandgrowrich.pdf

3. Once you begin marketing to your list, you can then
use MRR to set yourself apart from other marketers.

4. Be generous and people will stay on your list.

5. You rise above the noise.

++++++++++++++++

That’s it for today….

If you have any feedback or comments, I could use your
comment below.

If you have been following the presidential campaign on TV recently, you already know John McCain recently decided to run with relatively unknown candidate, Sarah Palin (Gov. Alaska).

I’ve been observing it interestingly because in order to appeal to the American people, now the Republican strategists are using all kinds of methods to denominate the benefits of choosing the party over Democrats.

There is an important lesson learned here that can be applied to Internet Marketing.

Your product may be high quality but your audience don’t know you enough yet to decide if they should “Click to Order”, or “Continue to Ope-in”.

Ultimately, it’ll boil down to our abilities to articulate the benefits of using the product/service we market. It also means, having good quality products isn’t just enough. Or perhaps more importantly, having good exposure isn’t good enough — we must do more than that to win the hearts of people.

I wish good luck to both the parties and America will choose the right candidate in January.

Today I’m going to resurrect PLR products sitting in your hard
drive.
In Internet Marketing market, keep in mind that there are two types
of people that separate the experienced and newbies.
Let’s say you’re discussing “List Building” in Warrior Forum.
You’re explaining that you use methods 1, 2, and 3 and the

Today I’m going to resurrect PLR products sitting in your hard
drive.

In Internet Marketing market, keep in mind that there are two types
of people that separate the experienced and newbies.

Let’s say you’re discussing “List Building” in Warrior Forum.
You’re explaining that you use methods 1, 2, and 3 and the
experienced folks will simply “get it” while the newbies must need
to be educated on what it is you’re trying to explain.

When this happens, it distracts the experienced folks from focusing
on the most important elements of your discussion. You might be
discussing something very useful, yet the new Warriors keep on
asking you more questions and you lose control of the “flow”.

Of course such things happen. So there goes a saying “We’re not
preaching to the choir”, meaning, the choir members don’t need to
be taught how to sing – most members already know that and
therefore, let the new member learn in time.

However, the new members are just as important members of such
group and they cannot be forgotten.

So the real question is how do we overcome this, so that you can
include everyone? Or is it even impossible?

I have a solution for you.

I take PLR products (with their questions in mind) and create
reports for more specialized areas.

So let’s say if you’re writing an ebook on “Affiliate Marketing”
but you do NOT want to explain in detail about “How to register for
Clickbank”, simply you just create a separate report and link to
it. You can create one from scratch or just use PLR product for
this.

Here is an example, I was in Warrior Forum discussing the fastest
method to list building and one member kept on asking how to
register for “Giveaway” events and how to join them. Most members
browsing that topic know what they are and they don’t expect me to
explain it to them repeatedly. But some members DO need to know how
to go about joining these events.

Such flow changes the discussion from “List Building Methods” to
“Giveaway Events” thread.

What I do is, I write up a report on such topics:
http://www.asktak.com/reports/JVGiveaways.pdf

This allows me to continue on with the discussion without losing
its dynamics.

You can do the same thing for your product creation. You can write
an ebook and just link to these reports from within your PDF so
that your main report will not be 200 page long that nobody wants
to read it in such a length to get your point.

In fact, it’s better if you can build a case in a shorter report
and reference to other sources from within the PDF so that you’re
not writing the “One size fits all” report to cater to every
audience, but those who need help in specialized areas can
reference to other required resources.

There is a thread taking place in Warrior Forum now where someone copied and pasted another person’s article, claiming that’s his work. It started out as “Oh Wow, good thread”, then turned into “Hey, you stole this article!” thread.

There is a thread taking place in Warrior Forum now where someone copied and pasted another person’s article, claiming that’s his work. It started out as “Oh Wow, good thread”, then turned into “Hey, you stole this article!” thread.

Even if it’s your OWN article, it’s a bad etiquette to cut and paste one in forums. Forums are NOT to be used as article directories.

When it’s not your own, just like anything, you MUST give proper credit to the source. Although I have a feeling it was well intended, but many people took offense for this action by the thread creator.

Don’t be like this guy — now it’ll take a long time before he’ll rebuild reputation back, if not get banned from the forum.
