Nowadays Industry like precision, molding and iron casting are located at a special place that comply with the government and environmental laws.

So, in the old days this place is like that, where many blacksmith manufactured their iron works. But Now it is more on craftsmanship. The blacksmith still use traditional method where people came to find special items craft from iron.

The hole contains sluice valve for reservoir that was located nearby. The water reservoir was built at the end of 19th century and became the first reservoir for the state of Melaka. It was closed in 1920s.

Existing road has closed the main reservoir.
