The Italian national team wear blue because it is the colour of Savoia, the ruling house of Italy from 1861 to 1946. Until the end of the second world war, the Italian flag always had the Savoy coat of arms in the centre, and it was only after the family were overthrown,and the Italian Republic established in 1946, that the plain tricolor was adopted as the national flag Historically red and orange bars have been interchanged several times on the State flag. In Netherlands they are recognized interchangably and often flown together. While the red bar has been predominant for quite some time, orange remains a "royal" Dutch color, as noted, because of its association with the historical ruling "House of Orange". And also, not without importance, because the French, during the Napoleonic occupation, banned "The Prince's Flag" (which maintained the orange bar in place of red for centuries). So orange is also a patriotic/nationalistic color reprsenting an independent Netherlands and Dutch peoples.

And how could she top that--by landing a lead in the independent film “Waylaid,” that wrapped in January, where she plays a white trash waitress working at a small diner in Texas. You can currently watch April on the smash NBC hit, “Deal or No Deal,” where she is a series regular. But if anyone thinks April is just keeping busy acting – wrong. April is an in demand model appearing in numerous ad campaigns, billboards, as well as, in several magazines. Most recently, in her own seven page celebrity spread in the December issue of Maxim Magazine, which also put her at number 76 on the 2006 Maxim Hot 100 List. In addition April has shot editorials for Glamour Magazine, Shape Magazine, Best Body Magazine, Open Your Eyes Magazine, Elle, and In Style Magazine.
