While I was in the crazy line at JoAnn, I happened to spot an issue of Mollie Makes. As I flipped through, I saw this dress. I NEED this dress!!! It's the Monsoon Catherine Tweed Tunic. It's from a British website and the price is a bit out of my reach right now. Look at the back!

I noticed that the neckline looks similar to the tunic I made recently. You may have noticed that most string quilt use square blocks that form a diamond pattern.

Kelly has just added this paper pieced alphabet pattern to her shop! She designed the letters, I converted them to pretty PDF files.

Each letter prints to a full 8.5" x 11" if you set your printer to no scaling. Of course, scale away if you want smaller letters!! Kelly has made up a cute little mini quilt with the letters at 50%. And um, she's giving it away. You could try to win it, but <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/asquaredw/skpp/~4/rgDtecUnYEQ" height="1" width="1"/>

My quilt machine

I've always wanted a quilt machine. You are all going to be jealous when I tell you that I have FOUND that machine. Her name is Kelly and she is amazing in so many ways. Since I was in the middle of moving when I posted my y = 1/x paper pattern, Kelly agreed to MAKE THE SAMPLE!! You have to trust me, the original file looks pretty good! But it's huge so I can't upload it.
