Modem - berasal dari singkatan MOdulator DEModulator. Modulator merupakan bagian yang mengubah sinyal informasi kedalam sinyal pembawa (carrier) dan siap untuk dikirimkan, sedangkan Demodulator adalah bagian yang memisahkan sinyal informasi (yang berisi data atau pesan) dari sinyal pembawa yang diterima sehingga informasi tersebut dapat diterima dengan baik. Modem merupakan penggabungan kedua-duanya, artinya modem adalah alat komunikasi dua arah. Setiap perangkat komunikasi jarak jauh dua-arah umumnya menggunakan bagian yang disebut "modem", seperti VSAT, Microwave Radio, dan lain sebagainya, namun umumnya istilah modem lebih dikenal sebagai Perangkat keras yang sering digunakan untuk komunikasi pada komputer.

Data dari komputer yang berbentuk sinyal digital diberikan kepada modem untuk diubah menjadi sinyal analog. Sinyal analog tersebut dapat dikirimkan melalui beberapa media telekomunikasi seperti telepon dan radio.

Setibanya di modem tujuan, sinyal analog tersebut diubah menjadi sinyal digital kembali dan dikirimkan kepada komputer. Terdapat dua jenis modem secara fisiknya, yaitu modem eksternal dan modem internal.

Jenis-Jenis Modem

Modem 3G
Modem GSM
Modem Analog yakni modem yang mengubah sinyal analog menjadi sinyal digital
Modem ADSL Merupakan Modem teknologi ADSL (Asymetric Digital Subscribe Line) yang memungkinkan berselancar internet dan menggunakan telepon analog secara berbarengan. Caranya sangat mudah, untuk ADSL diberikan sebuah alat yang disebut sebagai Splitter atau pembagi line. Posisi Splitter ditempatkan di depan ketika line telepon masuk. Artinya anda tidak boleh mencabangkan line modem untuk ADSL dengan suara secara langsung. Alat Splitter berguna untuk menghilangkan gangguan ketika anda sedang menggunakan ADSL modem. Dengan Splitter keduanya dapat berjalan bersamaan, sehingga pengguna dapat menjawab dan menelpon seseorang dengan telepon biasa. Di sisi lain, pengguna tetap dapat terkoneksi dengan internet melalui ADSL modem.
Modem Kabel yakni modem yang menerima data langsung dari penyedia layanan lewat TV Kabel
Modem CDMA

Selain tersebut dia atas masih ada juga jenis Modem lain diantaranya :

Modem Eksternal adalah modem yang ditempatkan di luar perangkat utama CPU. Modem ini terpisah dari PC dan dihubungkan melalui kabel LAN dan kabel USB, tergantung tipe modemnya.
Modem Internal
Modem Kabel Merupakan (Cable Modem), adalah perangkat keras yang menyambungkan PC dengan sambungan TV kabel. Jaringan TV kabel ini dapat dipakai untuk koneksi ke internet dengan kecepatan maksimum 27Mbps downstream (kecepatan download ke pengguna) dan 2,5Mbps upstream (kecepatan upload dari pengguna). Agar dapat menggunakan modem kabel, komputer harus dilengkapi dengan kartu ethernet (ethernet card).

IDMCC - Apa jadinya jika kita mendownload sesuatu tanpa bantuan download manager? Huuuuwft mending di tinggal maen aja kali biar ga kelamaan nunggu download selesai. hehehe.. lelet kayak siput speed downloadnya kali. Bagi yang ketergantungan dengan IDM tentunya ADDON ini sangat berharga dari pada secangkir kopi kali ya.. Blockquote - Blockquote dalam tiap template berbeda beda tampilanya, ada yang sudah dilengkapi dan ada juga yang belum. jika anda ingin menambah/merubah blockquote ini tidak ada salahnya untuk menggantinya dengan yang lebih bagus. Text Area - Sehabis jalan jalan tanpa sengaja saya melihat di salah satu blog teman ada jenis text area yang unik dan cantik. Sudah pada denger kan tentang trik dan tips memasang gambar di pojok halaman. Mungkin catetan ini sudah basi kali ya, tapi its ok, jika dilihat lihat sebenarnya tidak hanya gambar saja yang bisa kita letakan di sudut halaman, Tetapi kita bisa meletakkan sebuah widget di pojok halaman Tentunya caranya sedikit berbeda untuk kategori widget. yawdah langsung saja mas broo kita langsung ke kamar HTML.. hohohohoho

Ikuti Langkah-langkah berikut ini

1. Masuk Blogger dulu
2. Pilih Rancangan/Design
3. Pilih EditHTML lalu centang "Expand Template Widget"
4. Cari Kode ]]></b:skin>
5. Lalu copy kode di bawah ini dan letakan Diatas kode tersebut

Scroll Up & Down - Kalau dalam postingan yang lalu kita membahastentang pembuatan Scroll Back To Top. Untuk fungsinya tidak jauh berbeda cuma kali ini ada tambahan scroll ke atas dan kebawah, icon tampak seperti gambar di samping, kurang lebihnya seperti itu bro. Jika sobat sudah menerapkan scroll Back to Top aja, maka tidak ada salahnya mencoba yang satu ini. Ok langsung kita olah TKP.

Proses Pembuatan Scroll Up & Down

1. Tetep harus masuk Blogger dulu.
