Metal Fabricated Store Fixtures Installed

How cool does this Surefoot store look??!!! This photograph shows the seating benches (with built-in tool drawers) designed for custom fitting of ski boots. On the ceiling in the photograph, you can see the specially designed light covers that adds to the upscale look of the store. These light covers were made of punched white aluminum.

In addition to the 2 large seating benches shown in the photograph, the other fixtures included special “foaming stands” used in creating the molds for Surefoot’s custom made ski boots, a digitizer, and other store accessories.

The LADG designed the project for high functionality, durability, and a clean new look for Surefoot. The material of choice was 16 gauge steel with a durable white powder coating finish. Using the architectural prints, Astro Engineering and Manufacturing created the shop drawings in CAD software, SolidWorks. The skilled metal fabricators at Astro sheared, laser cut, formed, welded, and assembled the steel fixtures.

Another Metal Fabrication Project Completed

This truck is loaded with the latest shipment of metal fabricated store fixtures and is heading out to the newly remodeled Surefoot store in Whistler BC just in time for the Olympics. The LADG designed the store layout and fixtures for a modern, upscale look, yet extremely durable to accommodate heavy ski boots.

Astro Engineering and Manufacturing fabricated the steel fixtures for Surefoot’s store in Steamboat Springs Colorado in November. Surefoot was so pleased with the function and look of the new metal fabricated store fixtures that they immediately decided to upgrade their store in Whistler in time for the Olympics. With no time to waste, both The LADG and Astro Engineering and Manufacturing worked feverishly to get this project designed and fabricated for on-time delivery before the Olympics started.
