On September 8, 2010 at 6:30 Am EDT, the moon will be in Virgo and will be new. When the moon is  “New” it can not be seen and is thought to effect us Earth dwellers least. It is a time when we can think without the passionate influence normally associated with lunar energy. The air is ripe for beginings, introspection and renewal.  Is it not befitting then, that the new moon, just after a Pisces full moon, be in Virgo?

In the midst of so many aspects demanding that we grow and stretch ourselves, came a spiritual epiphany from the Pisces full moon. We were given the blessing of spiritual understanding.  Many of us began to understand our situations (which are ultimately blessings) and why they manifest as they did. And now we are being given the blessings of analysis, service, detail and PATIENCE. Associated with Mercury, Virgo energy is very intelligent and swift and is associated with Thoth the Thrice Great (any other Virgos have a love affair with the number 3?) Take advantage of this thoughtful time and write down your new plans. Be detailed and honor yourself and others.

The coming new moon in Virgo is asking us to make adjustments to our journey or fine tune the path we are already on by paying attention to detail. But more than ever, what a Virgo New Moon is transmitting to us is, be of service to others. It is here, in the laying down of ego, where we will find our true joy and abundance, where we will find our true selves. When we analyze our situations and see how we can affect change not only in ourselves, but in others, we win. Making changes first in our own lives and then offering to the Universe the bit of wisdom we have gained is the ultimate illustration of growth and true inner power.

We must watch however, that the Virgo energy of observing details does not overwhelm us and set us on a worrisome course. The forest must not be forsaken for the trees and we must remain vigilant that we keep a positive attitude and strong faith that whatever challenges we face or the task we find before us are not more than we can handle. Adding the responsibility of giving back what we continue to receive from Source is easy and will not deplete us in any manner. In the midst of turmoil, anger, fear and lack offer love and watch the magic of healing materialize.

The Goddess Isis is watching and offers her undying nurturing to us all at this auspicious time. Tap into her energy to receive healing and be open to opportunities to offer it to others. Live simply so that others may simply live.  Give abundantly so you always have room to receive.

I haven’t had the energy nor the compulsion to write on this blog lately. I have been in the middle of changes that required my full attention. While life was moving on around me and I was forced to keep up. My insides, my ego, my identity, how I perceived myself stopped being relevant. I found myself in the midst of a situation and I wasn’t sure just how I got there or how it had become so awful. I looked around and while my surroundings were comfortable, they were also painful. All of a sudden something didn’t fit and that something was me. When did this change occur and how I had I not noticed until that moment? My solution was resolute. From this point, I look back in reflection and move forward with hope.

Many of you have probably experienced some big changes as well and can like me tie it all into the Celestial Currents of late. The Grand Cross, the Lunar Eclipse, Uranus highlighting my 8th house, Jupiter hanging out there too, Mars in Virgo (strategy; I have become quite adept at making plans) and finally today’s Solar Eclipse and New Moon in Cancer. Today really marks a NEW DAY! From here on out, you should be reaping the fruit of the hard labors. Some of us will be in entirely new environments, some will feel bereft but all of us know what needs to be done and our angels are anxious to guide us toward our blessings. Watch for resolutions to major issues globally, nationally, locally and individually. Watch your intentions manifest themselves in the coming six months! Monitor your thoughts and keep doing the work….Healing, Abundance, & Peace are OURS!

On May 27, 2010 at 7:07 PM EST, we will experience a full moon in Sagittarius, which brings with it, a sense of gleeful optimism. Ruled by Jupiter, this Sagittarius moon marks a period ripe with exploration and adventure. We are more willing to dig deeper emotionally, physically, and intellectually in order to find truth, but are not smitten with details. Rather, we search for various truths and piece together a big picture and are content to keep our findings philosophical, cerebral and abstract.  Many of us will loose a bit of our normal filter and become a bit more truthful or frank in our interactions.  Be a bit cautious and remember that people’s emotions are at stake.  The Moon will be in opposition to the newly transited Gemini Sun and can create disputes and mis-communication. Deliver your truth to others kindly and receive truth from others defenselessly.

In other pats of the galaxy, Uranus transits from Pisces into Aries, which brings greater possibilities for spontaneous and unpredictable experiences. Uranus is known for his ability to shake things up and keep things off kilter. Coupled with a  Full Moon in Sagittarius, the atmosphere is extremely ripe for unexpected accidents or impulsive actions, which will gratefully open doors for lessons to be learned. Uranus can also make it very difficult for us to concentrate on the task at hand. Which is further underscored by Aries energy, which exists in the present and is not mindful of how his/her actions will manifest and affect others.

Finally, the topic that everyone is buzzing about: the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction. There has been a lot to do about the transformative powers and or the mishaps that may occur when Jupiter and Uranus meet in the sky. Jupiter expands and takes cues from our higher mind. It is instrumental in bringing forth our deepest desires. Uranus has adventurous tone. Spontaneous, impulsive, and undisciplined come to mind when I think of Uranus. There is always a lesson, some enlightenment that is ushered in with this planet’s energy on the scene. It is not as intense, as say Pluto but you will get the picture. For example, you have crossed in the middle of the street 1,000 times but with Uranus looming, you just might get bumped or really hit by a car. Or you played the lottery everyday for 5 years and well you finally win big!  Now is the time to go out on a limb and do what you thought could NEVER succeed. Buy that lone lottery ticket, ask her or him to marry you, try for the 15th time to get your printer running again, look for reasons to rejoice. Be open to the lessons and enlightenment from the Universe and you can’t loose. The Universe is conspiring to your Success. Grab It!

Venus was in square with Jupiter on Monday. On Tuesday she squared Saturn and today she is in a square with Uranus. She has been a very busy planet and creating lots of energy with which we can learn lessons. Particularly, Venus offers us lessons in love and in finances. In addition to the triple Venusian squares, the moon has been very busy as usual. If you have been feeling a little off your center, don’t worry, under the current celestial changes, it is to be expected.

The series of Venus Squares has been keeping our intimate relationships and our pockets twisted. If you find yourself suddenly realizing a truth that can’t be denied, accept it but do not make any changes until we are closer to the full moon, which will be in Sagittarius and will provide you the energy to stand up for yourself and your new well though out plans. At the full moon revisit your dilemmas, make plans and then act. Be sincere and truthful with yourself first and foremost. The moon’s interactions have been taking some of the pressure off  and gracing us with easy emotions or the opportunity to really feel the depths of our emotions truthfully.

Relax, I know it may seem that things are really jacked up for some of you, but things will only go as far as you allow them to go and as usual, there is a lesson to be learned. Wow, this full Moon is coming with a powerful punch! In addition to, Mercury Retrograde and a Full Moon in Scorpio, the moon is also involved in a T-Square with an opposition to the sun and Mars! Hold on to your hats ladies and gentleman, this period can be huge in revelations, both positive and negative.

Scorpio is an intense sign. With an overwhelming depth of feeling, Scorpios can move mountains, it seems with their emotions. But here is the kicker, they don’t want to tell anybody just how strong or deep their feelings. Keeping secrets is their forte and you will know they care but you’ll almost never really understand just how much. It just might scare you to really understand the magnitude of the force within their hearts. This is the kind of energy surrounding this coming Full Moon; secretive, forceful and deep.

Coupled with the Mercury Retrograde and a T-Square involving the Sun, Mars and Moon, this Scorpio Full Moon has the potential to move us all to letting out the real truth. You know how we feel deep down inside. Those feelings we are reluctant to acknowledge let alone share.  Well this full moon period, which has already begun as I pen this essay, will be ripe with the releasing of truth, deep truth.  For better or worse, secrets will be forced to the surface. Those harboring the secrets may not have a plan to release the truth but may find themselves in a situation where nothing else but truth will be acceptable.  Truth can be healing but can also be painful. Be prepared.

When the Moon is opposite Mars, we maybe impulsive in our interactions and may be spurred to excitable interactions with masculine energy, especially if Scorpio is prominent in their natal chart. The Mars influence leaves us a little less in control than normal and as such is a great time to try something new. Be careful not to over do it and because of the Mercury Rx, double check everything!

I have been living in my head a lot more than usual which I contribute to Jupiter’s transit of my 7th house which houses my Pisces moon. Normally driven by a stelium in Virgo, I am quite the no nonsense person always moving and getting things done.  But it is Pisces turn to shine and thus I day-dream. My day-dreams have been bold, happy and magnanimous. One has even included a huge lottery win which allows my partner and I to fulfill many of our life goals. That one made me giggle out loud.

Not surprisingly, all of my dreams all come back around to my relationships with people and how I can help them make things happen or ways in which our partnerships are giving me the opportunity to give and become a more enlightened person. Especially with my children. I have been presented with so many opportunities to see my relationships with each of them through the Universal Love perspective so readily available to Pisces. All of this living in my head has at times produced a flaky individual who seems more interested in sitting in a corner with a funny look rather than the normally disciplined and active Virgo I usually present. But I dare say that all that dreaming has not been in vain, and the nine of disks is pure evidence.

The 9 of disks is a prudent and yet abundant card. It speaks of the state of mind, is evidence of abundant thinking and almost always indicates that mental work if not physical work has been done. Associated with Venus in Virgo, this card tells of the practical details which have been attended to in order to ready the fields. The nine of disks says the fields have been tilled and are ready to produce.
