I have the new DacMagic Plus DAC from Cambridge Audio and is thinking about getting the new BT-100 Apx-X wireless dongle for it, to use with my Mac Mini Server (that also have build in Apt-X).

What other tech is out there with this technology already baked in?

Done upgrading hard drives in Mac Mini Server 2010 - now with pumped up 2x Seagate Momentus XT 500GB / 4GB SSD = 1TB + 8GB SSD in RAID0!

The way I did:

Download Seagate Momentus XT firmware revision SD28 ISO image of bootable CD
Mount image and extract file AN-SD28.ima (6MB, name DOS image for Seagate firmware update)
Keep file for later
Download new rEFIt-Syslinux.dmg (10MB)

Mount image
Keep mounted

Open Disk Utility
Plug in USB thumb drive
Select USB drive > Partition > Volume Scheme:
Select 3 Partitions
1st partition: MS-DOS (FAT), Size 9+MB
2nd partition: Mac Extended, Size 23+MB
Last partition is free space
Click Apply

Still in Disk Utility, should see rEFit-0.14.dmg mounted on left pane
Select Restore
Drag mounted image partition (with colored icon) into Source field (top)
Drag last partition from flash into Destination field (bottom)
Click Restore, Authenticate

Find SysLinux Image in Disk Utility
Select Restore
~~Drag mounted image partition (Syslinux) into Source field (top)~~
Right click mounted image partition (SYSLINUX) and select Set as source
Drag first partition from flash into Destination field (bottom)
Click Restore, Authenticate

Copy DOS disk image (e.g. AN-SD28.ima) to root
Edit syslinux.cfg boot menu according to the name of DOS image (e.g. AN-SD28.ima)

Boot MAC into DOS

Reboot your Mac
Hold down option key () at boot until disk selection
Select rEFit
In rEFit boot selection choose Boot Legacy OS from SYSLINUX
In UNetbootin menu choose SeaFlash

Flash and be happy.

For this tutorial I used a 256MB USB memory stick just to test under usual conditions. I
