The Maha relay vehicle rally for Men's rights(pan-India): In conjunction with the National meet for men's rights, Chennai, 2012.

Need riders for The Maha Relay vehicle rally for Men's rights(pan-India): Only a relay format rally would be feasible for most of us, for the ones who are on/planning to be on a sabbatical a ride till delhi is well possible(radial routes to Chennai(where the National meet for Men's rights is going to be conducted this year, mostly on 17th and 18th of November) from their hometowns in various parts of India).

The plan is to conduct the rally from November 8th to 15th, start points being North end of India, South, West and East(and may be others if local centres fall in between these coordinates). The longest route may be from the North End of India(say Delhi or Chandigarh) to Chennai, which will be the longest to cover(2100 & 2424 kms respectively), one can easily do 400-500 Km per day(on bikes, cars can do more but they will have to pace with the bikes since its a rally, not a race!) with planned stops for food/breaks and SIF events/dharnas/press conferences... which means a relay team can reach Chennaii from Delhi or Punjab in max 6 days, but lets keep 1 day for buffer/rest/contingency., so 7 days max to Chennai from any extreme of India).

Need more volunteers who can ride and organise a local group from wherever they plan to start the relay rally from(need not ride the full length till Chennai, since its a relay rally one can ride for how muchever kilometers he is comfortable in joining the rally).

At the end of the rally riders can attend the All India Men's rights National meet, conducted in Chennai this year(venue and other confirmed details will be announced later). We can arrange for the bikes to be transported back to the respective locations too, so do not hesitate, we are all here to make this mega events sizzle, just sign up and the rest ... we will all make it happen.

Another man facing legal terrorism takes justice into his hands and then gives up on his own life. How many more will have to walk this road before justice prevails.

Pradeep Jain was a victim of legal terrorism(false case of IPC 498a) and was denied access to his child, he broke down and went on a rampage, before he took his own life. This can happen to any man faced with similar situations.... we should act before its late. See the original news in TOI quoted below.

JAIPUR: Pradeep Jain, 32, who shot four members of his in-laws family, including his wife, was on a confrontation with his in-laws since 2006.

After his separation from the family, it was a mutual understanding that the baby would be given to Jain. However, the custody of the child was never given to him.

Addressing a gathering of over 2,000 people after he stepped on to the balcony of his sister's house at Devali town, Jain said: "They have been harassing me since 2006. I was fed up with the way the society including police, women's organizations and relatives responded to my worries and problems."

Pointing a gun on his forehead, he threatened that "if anyone dares to come closer, I will shoot myself." In a high drama that lasted for more than two hours, Jain asked the police to bring media persons to take his viewpoint. "Media se baat karwado nahin to maroonga (Bring media persons for interaction or I will die). Following the threat, reporters of various TV channels gave him the microphone.

'Doston, mein patni, pesha aur zameen se pareshan hum, koi meri nahin sunte (Friends, I am fed up with wife, profession and land and nobody bothers)," he said.
Later, thousands were taken aback when they came to know that he shot himself on the forehead.

Another depressed father, Syed Makhdoom, had committed suicide on 5th April 09, leaving 4 suicide notes and the video appearing below, which was recorded on his mobile. Here he clearly mentions how he was tortured by his wife & in-laws and that he was not allowed to even see his only son, whom he loved more than his life.

There is also a heart wrenching message to the entire society towards the end.

IBM illegally fires man for his sexual harassment complaint against woman boss: Bangalore mirror

This man, Anish Vohra, was cash-strapped because of IBM's illegal job termination just because he made a sexual harassment complaint against his woman boss. They did not technically fire him, but he was forced to resign after this woman boss created adverse situations for him at work, all this without recording any misbehaviour or failings on his part, with no notice period complied with, no salary/compensation for not complying with notice period of 90 days, etc.,.

The legal notice sent by Anish to IBM reads six typed A4 sized pages and the sexual harassment part is a section of that. The main allegations are about the woman boss abusing her authority and harassing him mentally, and professionally, systematically over a period of 5 months until he was FORCED TO TENDER HIS RESIGNATION. They did not fire him, rather she created a set of circumstances that left him with no alternative but to quit. Added to this was her unprofessional behavior and choice of language, which by IBM's own standards, was not acceptable at any level.

There was no record of any misbehavior or failings in Anish's work, but the woman boss, fifteen days after confirming Anish's job on Feb 01, 201,1 called him to a meeting with HR and insisted that he goes on a Personal Improvement Plan [PIP] in order to continue in IBM. A PIP is conducted for those resources(employees) who are below the mark in every way possible - this action was in direct contradiction with her rating 2 given to Anish(solid contributor, consistently meets job responsibilities, etc. - IBM description!) in December 2010 (with a personal statement from her that Anish had, in the short time span of 4 months, managed to win the appreciation of senior management) and also confirming Anish's job 15 days in advance of his confirmation date. These events show the lady boss' bias, obvious victimization and abuse of power. 15 days after this meeting with HR, Anish had to resign.

He is now unable to find enough money to treat his ailing son.

Debunking the common stereotype of a male executive hitting on a female colleague, a male mid-level manager has quit his job at IBM, alleging sexual harassment at the workplace. In a first-of-its-kind case, the man has filed a complaint with the company and has also slapped a legal notice on his former “offensive” woman boss and two others, including the MD of the IT behemoth’s India branch.

In the legal notice, Anish Vohra, who worked as a delivery manager for the company, accused his former woman boss of using abusive language while speaking to him in the office. Vohra alleges that he was forced to resign from the company and has claimed a compensation of Rs 87,91,650, including mental torture of Rs 10,000.

Policy at IBM forbids employees from speaking to the media, unless expressly authorised to do so. Hence, the name of the woman boss is being withheld because her version of the events could not be obtained.

Vohra joined as a delivery manager (proposal and ICAP) on August 16 last year and was on six months probation at IBM’s Global Enablement Center. He began working directly under the supervision of the woman he now accuses of harassing him. He claims he was confirmed 15 days ahead of the stipulated six months by which time professional relationship with his boss had already begun to deteriorate.

A paragraph in the legal notice reads: “Our client states that after giving a rating of 2, indicating excellent performance, suddenly she became hostile and beginning in December 2010, the professional relations deteriorated. She started losing patience and became highly critical without any reason and was abusive at times. On account of this behaviour our client (Vohra) sought a meeting which was held on 10.01.2011 and 14.01.2011, wherein she stated, ‘You are different from other managers in IBM. I need to treat you differently from them. I have been unnecessarily harsh with you I agree. I apologise for this behaviour’.

“In the second meeting our client further states that she also uttered the following words, ‘I do not know what it is between you and me I just cannot get along with you’. And also stated, ‘I get the feeling that you are jacking me of and simply f***ing around with me’ and then stated ‘forgive the words/expression used’.

“Our client states that the use of unparliamentary language was in the least objectionable and if uttered to a senior management would have resulted in termination of services.”

The notice goes on to say, “Our client states that at the time of joining service of IBM our client had signed the Business Conduct Guidelines (BCG) which specifically prohibited use of slang language as well as use of profanity or language which would hurt the sentiments of another. Our client states that the language used also amounted to victimisation of our client, for reasons best known to her and which was never disclosed to our client.”

Vohra also claims that the language used by his former boss amounts to sexual harassment as, “IBM being an Ideal Employer, has framed strict rules for prevention of harassment at the work place, called Recognition & Preventing Workplace Harassment- India Employees Edition. Work place harassment is a violation of human rights.”

Vohra has also alleged, “The employment contract stipulated that the company or the employee may terminate the services at any time by giving 90 days notice or salary in lieu thereof. However, without informing me or recording any misbehaviour, they forced me to resign abruptly without paying me any compensation or salary for the notice period.”

The notice was also served on Shankar Annaswamy, managing director, IBM India Private Limited, and Lynette Clunies Ross, director, Sales Transaction Hub, GMU, IBM Limited.

IBM at first refused to answer phone calls or respond to emails from BM seeking their comments. An IBM spokesperson eventually said, “We have fully investigated this matter. The claims made are unfounded and without merit.”

Facebook has helped Anish and Deepti raise Rs 1.5 lakh of the Rs 56.35 lakh they need for their son’s treatment

It’s every parent’s worst nightmare, but Anish Vohra keeps his chin up. His two-year-old son, Abhijaat, is suffering from cerebral palsy, and the city-based former IBM delivery manager needs funds — $125,000 (Rs 56.35 lakh) to be exact — if his son is to live a healthy life.

Vohra, who has been unemployed for the past three months, is strapped for cash, having already spent all his savings on Abhijaat’s treatment.

At the end of his tether, he has set up a community on Facebook and has launched a portal in the hope of raising money from donors to fund stem cell treatment — Vohra’s last hope — for his son.

Vohra believes that his Facebook forum, ‘Pray for Abhijaat’, and portal ‘For Abhijaat’ have helped him appeal to a wider audience.

He launched his online campaign last year and has raised $3,348 (Rs 1.5 lakh) so far. He keeps donors updated on Abhijaat’s progress with frequent posts on the sites.

“He came into our lives on July 3, 2008, suddenly, unexpectedly and a good four weeks ahead of schedule due to low amniotic fluid,” Vohra posted. “He did not cry right after birth, he had a breathing difficulty due to very bad stridor (obstruction in the air passage). At first, doctors did not give him a chance, but with the help of C-PAP and oxygen, he survived. He was a good healthy baby, no major issues.”

But Abhijaat was afflicted by a number of complications. He continued to suffer from respiratory problems, his right knee was dislocated at birth and he lacked the ability to grasp things, to sit or to smile, walk or talk.

Abhijaat has been in and out of hospitals and has already had three surgeries, the last in Chicago which cost $197,614 (about Rs 89 lakh).

“We got his knee fixed with physiotherapy and splinting,” Vohra posted. “No one told us there was something wrong with him, just that ‘milestones were delayed’. We used to think ‘So what. He would come around’.”

Vohra and his wife Deeti’s world came crashing down when they learnt from a paediatric neurologist that their son had cerebral palsy.

“His motor abilities and speech have been affected. His hands and legs are spastic.

“Maybe Abhi does not pronounce consonants yet to say Mama, but he makes enough sounds for us to hear Mama in there somewhere. He holds objects placed in his hands for a little while, listens to the sound of our voices and responds to rudimentary instructions.

“He shows us there is the possibility of a good healthy life within his reach. He is the sweetest little boy you can imagine.”
Dr Gyanam, one of the paediatric specialists treating Abhijaat at Manipal Hospital, said, “His brain cells were damaged at the time of delivery because of a lack of oxygen to the brain.

“It will take a while for Abhijaat to be discharged as he now has pneumonia triggered by an infection in his lungs.”

What ails AbhijaatCerebral palsy is a non-progressive, non-contagious motor condition that causes physical disability in human development in various parts of the body. Abhijaat needs stem cell treatment available in only a few countries such as China and Germany. There is no guarantee that the treatment would work. The Vohras are in touch with the Wu Stem Cell Medical Centre in Beijing. They would need boarding and lodging for the duration of the treatment - typically three months. It would cost about $125,000.

The proposed "Protection of Women against Sexual Harassment Bill"(SHWB) on the face of it will make a lot of women happy, but it will stay that way only till these good women realise that their own Sons and male relatives and their businesses/jobs are ruined and they are brought to the roads.

Since there will not be any legitimate USE of this law(by good natured women, who are victims of genuine harassment), but at the same time there will be WIDESPREAD MISUSE BY UNSCRUPULOUS MONEY-MINDED WOMEN(and their money making business organisations), now that they have a chance to extort in crores from cash rich businesses.

This is not a mere speculation or dooms day theory, until now these unscrupulous, shame-in-the-name-of-women were extorting and taking husbands and his relatives(including senior citizens, minor children and women themselves) for a ransom(this is 20,000 crore plus extortion industry, if you may note!), but now they have a higher league to extort from - Businesses and High net worth employees of these businesses

Sexual Harassment has nothing to do with one's gender, its is a result of "Power" and whoever is in power, irrespective of gender can harass others who are in a subordinate position(in terms of power)... so Sexual Harassment laws has to be gender neutral in this modern age. Its important to note that various western countries and even Pakistan has implemented this law as Gender Neutral, so what is stopping India to do the same, even after Law Commission had suggested protection for Men in its recommendations and drafts(which was unceremoniously deleted/negated by the Ministry of Women and Child development ministry(WCD)).

In short, if we leave SHWB as it is, "Legal Terrorism" will turn towards the Indian Industry and wreak havoc on India's economy directly, and this is not a coincidence... this a well thought our plan to destroy India! through the time-tested "Economic terrorism" route employed by the Neo-Imperialists.

There may be more ‘stay-at-home’ mums than dads, but equal numbers of working fathers who posses natural care instincts and contribute much to the nurture and protection of children and dependent family members even when they work full time.

Many men who hold down well-paying jobs to provide financially defer the role of primary carer to their female partners, by mutual choice.

Society does not readily accommodate men in the role of full-time homemaker and the often negative portrayal of men in the news and entertainment media discourages more fathers from taking on the primary care responsibilities for young children.

Most dads endeavor to provide the right balance of financial and emotional support and personal involvement in activities for the benefit of their families; and men’s role in providing direct or indirect care for children and family members is worthy of acknowledgment.

Discrimination

Discrimination and gender inequitable outcomes also affect men and boys in countries around the world, including:

• Under-representation in areas of education and employment.

• Higher rates of death and disability through suicide and hazardous work.

• In many countries, men experience inequitable outcomes in child custody disputes and disproportionate emotional and financial burdens following divorce.

• Double standards in the sexist and negative portrayal of males in the entertainment media; and product advertising which portray simulated violence by the opposite sex against men as trivial and acceptable.

• No ‘whole-of-government’ advocacy for male gender inequity issues.

• The plight of male victims of abuse is often ignored in government-sponsored anti-domestic violence education campaigns.

• General lack of government recognition and annual observance of “International Men’s Day” to acknowledge existing inequitable outcomes and honour the equally valuable financial and social contributions that men and boys make to the global community.

Many governments have lost sight of these facts and the need for advocacy and affirmative action to correct gender discrimination and inequitable outcomes that impact negatively on the lives of men and boys also.

Domestic Violence

Domestic violence takes the form of physical, verbal and emotional abuse to intimidate and control. Without diminishing the responsibility of men to treat women with respect, International Men’s Day recognises that males too are victims; and face unique problems in dealing with violence by the opposite sex.

In many countries, statistics on domestic violence are sourced only from surveys of women and the male perspective on reported cases is often not known. Statistics acknowledge that women also assault men but excuse it on the basis of provocation or self-defence.

Government sponsored anti-violence education campaigns tend to focus solely on the responsibility of men.

Few men report abuse by the opposite sex for fear of being ridiculed or having the blame turned back on them because of the flawed mindset in many communities that ‘men can look after themselves’.

Popular culture in many countries tolerates women striking men for offending female sensitivities and accepts casual female violence against men in films, product advertising and TV sitcoms as light-hearted entertainment.

Physical size and strength does not protect a passive male against a determined female aggressor who fears no recrimination on the excuse that ‘a man should never hit a women under any circumstances.’

The plight of male victims of domestic violence is a serious issue that receives little or no empathy and government and media have obligations in addressing it.

Men’s Health

Men fall victim to various serious illnesses including cancers, heart disease and stroke. Some men’s health issues are genetic and others are linked to lifestyle factors and risk-taking behaviour.

Alarmingly, the male suicide rate is up to 4 times higher; and up to 90% of work-related deaths are males, due to the greater tendency for men to work in hazardous occupations.

So far as it depends on the individual, men must take control of looking after themselves. Occupation and life-style safety matter as does good diet, exercise and mental health.

Low self-esteem and depression also affect men and boys and various factors can trigger it. There are things men can do to avoid preventable illness.

• Choose a GP and have at least one general physical medical check-up annually.

• Don’t ignore negative feelings about your self worth or suffer on with depression.

• Seek help from your doctor early about significant health problems.

• Investigate ‘Men’s Health’ services and websites about male-specific illness and concerns.

The plot is straight out of a Bollywood movie.

The boy is the son of a rich businessman whose heart has fallen for a poor girl. Only, unlike the movies, this story does not end with the boy thrashing the villains. Rather this has a very novel turn. According to reports, Sunil, son of a rich man in Gorakhpur town in Uttar Pradesh, was in love with a girl from the neighbouring Baharaich town for the past few years and wanted to tie the knot with her. The girl’s parents were also ready for their marriage but the problem was that Sunil’s father wanted a dowry of Rs 3.5 lakh in cash without which he would not settle his son’s marriage. As the girl’s father is a “muneem” (accounts clerk) at a small business firm and earns barely enough to sustain his family, he was unable to meet the dowry demand. It appeared as if the marriage would not solemnise owing to the non-fulfilment of the demand of Sunil’s father. Mad in love, Sunil asked the girl’s parents not to worry and said he was ready to fulfill his father’s dowry requirement. He also asked them to hold talks with his father and agree to his conditions. The girl’s parents did so and they were given time till April next year to arrange the money and solemnise the marriage. Since then, Sunil has been depositing money in his father-in-law’s bank account so that the latter could fulfill the dowry demand. So far he has deposited Rs 1 lakh and is certain of depositing the rest of the money within the stipulated time. “I had no option. I wanted to marry my beloved and, at the same time, did not want to disappoint my parents. So I devised this plan,” Sunil said. However, he made it clear that the money is his own hard-earned money and not drawn from his father’s business.

Crime or criminality is not a monopoly of any class or gender, nor does crime have a class or gender factor. This is true for goodness or badness too.

The current problem in India is that, since judiciary , law enforcement and the the whole system consisting of the government/authorities in general are all corrupt and our quality of leadership is abysmal.

Hence the Corrupt, Rich and powerful get what they want by hook(undue favours from government schemes meant for public welfare!) or crook(protective provisions/laws intended for protecting the weak(if you search around the internet you will find that the protective provisions for SC/STs , Women have been misused widely and has been acknowledged in the official circles too, for example misuse of dowry laws are termed as "Legal Terrorism" by the Supreme Court of India itself!) and poor are misused by the corrupt, rich and powerful people)

And its a fact that unfettered/absolute power corrupts, and in India women-protection laws give that unfettered power to only the women who misuses it(with an intention to get undue power of negotiation, to wreck vengeance, etc.,.)

***So the genuine victims among men or women do not have any support from the present set of laws or provisions/schemes by the government***, since all these facilities and laws are misused with oblique motives by the corrupt, rich and powerful(irrespective of their gender!)!!!.

The solution is simple(albeit tough), all citizens(including all victimised men and women) join forces and bring a new order in society and make a system which only promotes good leaders and eventually purge the bad leaders.

These good leaders will eventually set right the implementation of laws and schemes intended for public welfare(which are presently misused) and ensure that the support/relief goes only to the intended and deserving victims/beneficiaries, since they would be responsive to the people who elected them and be efficient and capable to undertake the massive systemic correction we would have to do, to set right and prevent the re-emergence of the systemic-rot, that we are in presently.

Distraught: Many divorced fathers describe the loss of their children as 'an emotional amputation' or 'a living bereavement'

About ten years ago, I was standing in my son's junior school classroom. The teacher had stuck up on the wall the best essays on the topic: 'How I Spent Last Weekend.' One caught my attention.

Not for this little boy a visit to the zoo or the excitement of a football game. Instead, he had chronicled a weekend's battle between his divorcing parents.

'Mum calls dad names on the phone,' he had written in his laborious handwriting. 'We had cake for tea. My sister and I cry.' The teacher caught my eye. She had put up that story on purpose.

'I want the parents to see what divorce they are doing to their children. They should be ashamed of themselves,' she said.

My son recently bumped into that little boy. A decade on, he is 18, has dropped out of school and is on drugs.

Sir Nicholas Wall, the President of the Family Division of the High Court, agrees that something has to be done. He has accused separating couples, especially those from the middle classes, of using their children as 'both the battlefield and the ammunition' to try to score points in their personal disputes.

'There is nothing worse, for most children, than for their parents to denigrate each other,' said the country's most senior family court judge. 'The child's sense of self-worth can be irredeemably damaged.'

Six years ago, my husband and I divorced. It came as a great shock. But we were all too aware our children were just becoming adolescents - and that adolescence is perilous enough without warring parents.

We tried, not always successfully on my part, never to criticise each other in front of the children. Very occasionally, I even managed to emphasise his good points (of which there are many) - it was quite hard when at the time all I wanted to do was murder him.

A female friend was shocked. 'Why aren't you using the children against him?' she asked. 'I would.'

Her reaction is not unusual. The battlefields Sir Nicholas Wall describes are too often of the wife's choosing. This is because most divorces are initiated by women due to their husband's infidelity, as the fatherhood research body Fathers Direct points out.

These women are hurt and they want to get their own back through the children, money or both. They are determined the husband is as much divorced from his children as his wife.

One wealthy man I know finds himself, despite his riches, at the beck and call of his former wife.

'How can my wife hurt me? How could she bring me to my knees?' he asks. 'Through my children.'

The strategy is very successful. This otherwise powerful man submits to every capricious demand.

'With just two hours' notice, I had to cancel an important meeting and take them to the dentist,' he said. If he refused, his wife said, he would not see them for a month.

An advertising director found himself equally powerless when his wife suddenly moved from London to the Midlands with their two sons.

'How can my wife hurt me? How could she bring me to my knees?' he asks. 'Through my children.'

'She did not tell me. One day she just stopped answering the phone. Until then I had been seeing my sons every weekend,' he says.

By the time the case reached court, the sons were settled in a new school. The judge admitted that what the woman had done was illegal, but because it was in the best interests of the children to be with their mother, he did nothing.

'She had got away with effectively kidnapping my children,' said the father. His relationship with his sons has all but broken down. Their new home is too far for them to come to London. When he goes to see them, he has to stay in a hotel.

'The children get bored in an hour or two,' he says. 'They have their friends and their sports, which they would rather do instead.'

He tells me he finds the situation 'so goddamn painful. I try to play the role of a father - but how can I when I have been deliberately moved to the periphery of their lives?'

The situation leaves many men I have interviewed distraught. They describe the loss of their children as 'an emotional amputation' or 'a living bereavement'.

It is no wonder that within two years of divorce, half of fathers lose contact with their children.

Irredeemably damaged: Children are often forgotten victims in divorce, but there can be dire consequences should their parents split up

As one man said sadly, divorce 'leaves many fathers on the edge of a bloody great abyss. Many fall off and are never seen again'.

Douglas Alexiou, one of London's pre-eminent family lawyers, agrees that the wife holds all the cards in a divorce case.

'Court order after court order is served. The wife claims the children are ill or just do not want to see their father,' he says.

'There is very little a court can do if a mother has poisoned the minds of her children against the father. There is no sanction against the mother apart from a jail term - and no court will do that.

'Perhaps one day a judge will be bold enough to jail a mother and finally set an example.'

In all this there is only one real victim - the children. If one of those wives was handed an axe and ordered to hack off a limb of her child, she would be appalled. Yet so many women are happy, even gleeful, to commit the equivalent emotional amputation on their children by depriving them of their father.

U.S. author Kathleen Parker in her excellent book Save The Males points out that in depriving a child of their father, 'we reduce a child's chance of a successful and happy life.

'Growing up without a father is the most reliable indicator of poverty and all the familiar social pathologies affecting children, including drug abuse, truancy, delinquency and sexual promiscuity.'

But this misery is not only the fault of the parents. The family court system is adversarial and encourages couples to fight, says Nadine O'Connor, campaign manager at the lobby group Fathers4Justice.

And change, she says, will be a long time in coming - until lawyers stop making their own killing from warring parents, children will continue to be used as weapons.

National Litigant Bench (NLB), is a novel initiative promoted by concerned and knowledgeable youth to represent the cause of hapless litigants who approach Judiciary to mitigate their problems as last resort, but are drawn into the system unwittingly. Activists from across the country deliberated on the core issues concerning about more than 5 crore litigants who loiter around the corridors of Courts wasting precious time and energy, some at the peak of their productive age.

NLB’s mission is to:

· Create Awareness and Awakening of the General Litigant on the problems faced at Court room

· Transparent Judicial Appointments on merit and moral values

· Redefine the input source to Judiciary like Indian Judicial System (IJS) similar to IAS,IPS etc.

· Bring about Litigant friendly procedures and process resulting in self service

· Address Imperialist attitude of intimidation by the Bar & Bench on all Litigants especially economical weaker section.

The objective of this conference is to identify the Judicial reforms from a Litigant’s perspective to create awareness about Litigant’s choices and options and expose the challenges/pitfalls in the system. Deliberation of this Conference is on National Judicial Commission to include:

· Appointment of Judges through Indian Judicial Services

· Litigant grievances/ compliant on Judges ( from the current impeachment)

· Redefine the procedure code

· Reforms in the legal education

· Research on interpretation of law

· Deployment of Technology to enable ‘Information on Demand’ to stakeholders.

Resolution passed and demand sought from the Government on Judicial Reforms

1. NLB to constitute five regional bench’s in North, South, East, West & Central.

2. To establish National judicial Commission in line with Election Commission for regulating Judicial dispensation, appointment, Infrastructure, Procedure, disciplinary . Proceedings in the country

a. Emulate code of conduct, ethics and professional standards for legal profession

b. Redefine litigant friendly forms and procedure for Criminal ; Civil & Tax Code

c. Judges Accountability – Litigant Grievance Redressal.

3. Establish Indian Judicial Services inline with IAS,IFS, IPS etc to improve the quality of judicial dispensation.

4. Demand entry age at 26 and retirement exit at 55 years and permit the judges to practice so as to attract youth who are connected with the society.

5. Make budgetary allocation of min of 2% of both central and state budget to and enhance adq. Infra and improve work condition of Judiciary.

6. Implement Grama Nayalaya Act a brainchild of “NAC – National Advisory Council”.

7. Redefine litigant friendly forms and procedure for Crimal & Civil & Tax Coded

8. Stop Tribunalization of Judiciary which ensures govt. cases are conducted in fast track to collect taxes and common man is discriminated.

9. Stop Appointment of retired Judges to Commission and other agencies.

10. Implement technology to enable transparency and information –on-demand.

11. Amend Bar Council of India Act to improve the professional ethics and conduct & lawyer appearing at police station.

12. Amend laws to make to encourage ‘Party-in-person’ to represent/plead their cases.

13. Implement Perjury & Contempt of Court to resist misuse of law by courts.

14. Implement of ‘Limitation Act’ in true letter and sprits.

15. Implement ‘Basic Law’ in School Education.

16. Conduct sensitization program for Judges towards litigants needs and to be receptive and sensitive to the litigants.

17. Stop Judiciary’s control over Alternate Dispute Resolution Forums.

18. Stop Misuse of provisions by Judiciary in matters relating to

a. Maintainability

b. Adjournments

c. Check bounce case;

d. Dalit atrocities cases;

e. Insurance Claims Fraud (MCOP);

f. IPC 506 (ii);

g. Matrimonial disputes

h. Bail proceedings converted into Recovery proceedings.

We request the media to give adequate publicity and to create awareness to the general public on the current status of the Judiciary.

Representative from following Chapter including Delhi, Punjab & Chandigarh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Singapore and Europe were presented for the Conference.

in Yercaud & Launching NATIONAL LITIGANT BENCH (NLB) on 15 Aug 2010.

All India Men’s Welfare Association (AIMWA) is an organization whose main objectives are:

To connect with men and boys across India and understand their needs and concerns.
To address issues concerning men and boys, with the specific objective of providing them protection against gender discrimination, domestic violence, emotional castration, negative stereotyping, sexual harassment, legal terrorism and every other form of abuse.
To build a powerful broad based lobby for the welfare of men and boys.

Since its inception on 11 October 2009, AIMWA has been working towards providing protection for men and boys against gender discrimination, domestic violence, sexual harassment and other forms of abuse. The organization has also been working on related issues like physical and mental health of men, and the need for social changes, policy reforms and legal solutions to men’s problems.

Members of AIMWA are attending the 3^rd National Conference of Family Rights Organizations in Yercaud to present our research and analysis on issues related to men within and outside the family, to discuss our ongoing work, and to point out future directions for NGOs working in the areas of men’s health and welfare.

On the occasion of Independence Day 2010, members of AIMWA are launching the NATIONAL LITIGANT BENCH – a self-help group comprising citizens fighting for freedom from delays, corruption, maladministration, injustice and lack of accountability in the Indian judicial system.

Although India attained freedom from British rule in 1947, the Indian judicial system wreaks of imperialism, corruption and anti-citizen attitudes of the British times, due to which a common man considers entering an Indian court as the worst misfortune of his life.

While the worst sufferers of the Indian judicial system are men, judicial delays, corruption and maladministration have also taken a big toll on women, children and families.

During its many encounters with litigants all over the country, AIMWA found that citizens of India have lost faith in our dysfunctional judicial system as it encourages hardened criminals to commit crime in broad daylight, penalizes law-abiding citizens, and turns ordinary men into criminals.

The National Litigant Bench (NLB) is the first forum of its kind calling for litigants across the country to come together and collectively fight for freedom from judicial delays, corruption, maladministration, injustice and lack of accountability.

In this video the TOPIC/issue is whether anti-dowry laws are anti-men.
See how Centre for Social Research(CSR) head, Ms Ranjana Kumari diverts the topic to skirt from the logical conclusion that anti-dowry and other tools of legal terrorism and cause of misery for both Husbands and his kin(the whole husbands family get arrested without any kind of investigation or evidence/wirness, just on the false accusations of an unscrupulous wife; whole family, including at least 2 women(mother and sister), minors and senior citizens of the husbands family).
Analysis of Ranjana's diverting tactics to discredit the issue that anti-dowry laws and such tools of legal terrorism are really anti-men and anti-kin of husbands(including 2 women on an average)

Ranjana herself claims that she is in the field of marital/women issues for the last 25 years or so, so theres no question that she is confusing IPC 498a(cruelty and harassment law) with IPC 304b(dowry death law).
She consistantly diverts the issue(any issue) to dowry death since those statistics are shocking to the public and stands a chance to get instant sympathy of the viewers and stakeholders and thereafter any support for the issue at hand can be easily curbed with pressure tactics and road side quarell type of arguments!(Other issues: be it 498, or men's suicide due to family/legal terrorism issues, be it multiple maintenance, be it arrests of husband and kin without even evidence or witness, etc.)
Ranjana Kumari is not a Kumari of confusion or lack of knowledge she is a kumari of deception of public, a kumari of vices, a kumari of neo-imperialists, a kumari of misandry, a kumari of hate!. And she is not the only kumariof this kind, we are infested with such kumaris, and our job is to expose them and vanquish them out of all societies including India, if they are not humanly salvageable.
PS: Its another issue that statistics of IPC 304b(dowry death) is a hugely cooked up one, since any girl who unaturally dies after marriage is treated as a dowry death, by force due to pressure from these radical feminists, by the corrupt money-mongering police(for extorting money from husband and family) and some of them are initiated by the kin of the girls who want to wreck vengeance on the husband and kin due to long standing grudges and animosity(and since the girl is not alive to defend her husband, it becomes easy for these vested interests to convert all dead women into one dowry death statistic each!)

Issues like this(bias of law against (or for) a particular gender) are not about/based on natural animosity between male and female genders, nor do they help the supposedly protected gender(women in all the cases!).

Its an attempt by neo-imperialists to eye-wash the public using their natural soft-corners for a gender, the real intention is to use such mind games to get undeserving/un-natural power, to sustain the empire built in such way and to harness the power for more money, and hence more power and more resources to grow this empire built on self-centered and parasitic tactics, deceptions, mass mis-propaganda, hate-mongering and ruthless cannibalism.

Gender biased laws(and other such gender biased provisions) are made by vested interests to get the benefits they want(not to the intended women), by instigating an artificial/un-natural/cultivated animosity between the genders. Whereas if one tries to see all this from a higher perspective, it becomes very clear that these vested interests are employing a divide and rule policy and capture power through economic terrorism, using the two genders.

"Ardhanaareeshwara" is the truth and constitution(the body-mind complex) in everyone one us. This means every man is a mix of male and female characteristics. And that male and female genders are built to compliment each other, though built, seemingly, with a lot of conflicts and in-congruity compared to one another's constitution.

The relevance of the "Ardhanareeshwara" concept in the present day society and how it played a critical role in making Indian families, and hence our culture itself, so robust and progressive, even so many centuries before, is outlined in this blog post by Mrs.Uma Challa.

If a living being is ever tried to be built with all male and female characteristics put together, such group of living beings will perish due to monotony, if not anything else!.

No wonder evolution did not make all of us exact replicas of each other, in terms of constitution(hormones, anatomy, brain constitution, responses to stimuli, etc.)

All kind of Gender Biased provisions are with evil intents/agenda on the part of vested interests(a powerful super minority) who wants to plunder the vast majority of others, using, age-old but, highly effective principles like deception and divide & rule.

Say no to all gender biased provisions, save life and society as we know it. Say .... We demand Gender-neutral Laws

Some gender-specific traits as examples, 1) male: brute force, testosterone induced fights against great odds- courage in face of big odds(even if the brain says that the challenge is much above his ability to conquer. Fighting with a Lion with only a stick, to protect his family), ability to control others by projected fear - intimidation (alpha male lions, once they vanquish the old leader keep the rest of the pack under control just by intimidation tactics), 2) female: Patience, Love, maintaining the household, etc.

With reference to the above videos, here is the issue with reference to what's wrong with Domestic Violence act(DVA act), which has a clause in the same lines "Sexual Harassment Panel is to be headed by a Woman, who is committed to the cause of Women"

At the first or even the second glance its doesn't look a bad clause, it even looks good since, as Ms.Madhu Kishwar too mentions, women will open up(about the sexual harassment she had to experience) better to a woman.

The real issue is that this Sexual harassment act will become a money making(extortion) racket as soon as it hits ground, and then the definition of "Woman who is committed to the cause of women" will be totally different, it will then mean "Woman who convicts most number of men, regardless of whether he is guilty or innocent. Here more men pressurised to pay compensation or through out-of-the-court settlement means more turnover to the new extortion industry spawned by Sexual Harassment Act.

This Sexual Harassment Bill, as soon as it becomes an Act, it will be like the multi-million industry(extortion) like in case of the misuse of IPC 498a or DV Act, where lawyers make money, women organisations make money through more cases/statistics and hence funds from UN and benefactors from the moist eyed/sympathetic western world(seeing false, cooked-up statistic of how many women are victimsed!) , police makes, money, unscrupulous law-misusing women/wives make money.

Making the Sexual Harassment Bill Gender Neutral, the real issue:

Thats exactly what the anti-family anti-India lobby would resist and oppose with tooth and nail.

This law is not at all aimed to protect women, just see how many harassed women get justice

One can just review the results with respect to other existing women-protection laws for assessing the reality and the clear trend of deception!, no victim gets justice, whatever be the gender!...

These laws are aimed only at making an industry of extortion around them, at the cost of wrecking the social structure and peace and hence national stability and security in India(as well as any other countries, including USA, where similar laws prevail(like the VAWA(Violence against Women Act) in USA)).

The powerful corporations which run and bleed nations are behind this, whether its a plan from scratch or not!(it need not be like the Illuminati theory goes).

The chaos and insecurity in people makes excellent ground for unplanned lives and hence expenditure in not-so-priority products and services(luxury, fad, high margin products and services).

A man who was thrashed by his wife and had recorded the abuse using spy cameras to present it as evidence in his divorce proceedings has won the case and the legal custody of his 11-year-old son.

Purushottam Mahajan, 44, who was locked in divorce and custody battle with his wife Pallavi for over two years, installed secret cameras at their Aarey Colony house to capture how she abused him physically in his son’s presence. In November 2009, the video was uploaded on YouTube by an NGO to show how law was heavily loaded against men in cases of marital discord.

Eight months after the video went up, the Bandra Family Court last month handed over the custody of the child, Aum, to his father. The battered husband fought his case himself armed with the video evidence. He argued Aum’s future was more secure in his custody than his wife’s.

The couple got married in 1999, but the relationship soured within a year. Purushottam alleges that there were regular fights and he would often get beaten up. While he would talk about the violence to his friends, no one believed him.

Fed up of the violence and desperate to gather evidence, Purushottam, who claims to have worked with Subhash Ghai as an assistant director, installed a spy camera in his place.

The camera captured everything that went on in the house, including Purushottam's physical torture, for three months. What eventually went up on YouTube was an edited 30-minute video. The video that has no sound, shows Pallavi slapping and kicking Purushottam. It later shows them animatedly discussing something even as a child looks on.

On July 23, 2008, Pallavi left the couple's Aarey Colony house with Aum. Since the marriage had irrevocably broken, Purushottam filed for divorce and Aum's custody on July 27.

On August 29, Pallavi lodged a complaint of dowry harassment and torture against him at Dindoshi police station. However, Purushottam's spy video recordings and other evidence he presented in the court tilted the divorce and custody case in his favour.

During the two-year battle, Purushottam says he went through a lot. "I lost a job in a multi-national bank because cops would be constantly calling me. But I had decided, I would fight till the end as I loved Aum more than anything else. When I saw my lawyer was not arguing the case properly, I read law books and argued my case without a lawyer."

Purushottam meticulously collected evidence to make his case stronger. He showed the court how his child had suffered severe weight loss after his mother took him away. "I presented medical evidence that also showed that he had injuries on his hands and legs and that he lived in unhygienic conditions.

After he was separated from me, he wasn't sent to school for months," said Purushottam, who alleged in the court that he was not allowed to meet Aum on one pretext or the other even though the court had directed a meeting every fortnight. His wife's lawyer, Amol Sutrale, who played a crucial role in bringing the couple to the negotiating table, said, "We realised there was no need to drag the case unnecessarily.

I advised Pallavi and Purushottam to settle the matter. Pallavi agreed to give Aum's custody to Purushottam. Thus the matter was settled with mutual consent. At least, the child will not have to suffer anymore."
